How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).

FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

Caller with Indian accent claimed to be calling for Sprint with a free cell phone. I asked where he was calling from. He said California. I asked why my caller-id said IOWA. He said the free cell phone had caller-id feature. I said it wouldn't help much if it said IOWA for a call from California.
He continued with his free-cell-phone script. I told him I was hanging up because I thought he was a lying son of a b*. He continued with the script. I said "Bye." and hung up.
Received phone call from this number and two other numbers with the same prefix with in the last month: Call back the nubmer and the "Number out of service" no longer in working order

I have recieved a call from this number and heard someone say hello then hang up...then like everyone else ... called back and got out of service soon after it happened.This call came up Iowa Call under my Caller ID....I have also in the last month recieved 2 other calls w/same area code but different number that came up "Iowa Call" and also was disconnected as soon as I called back the number?

Received call when I was not available. Hung up after 4 secs. Tried to call back: "Number out of service". Also received call two wks prior from 712-429-0354 FYI
