How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

This one slipped past my Interceptor ID because I didn't have that area code blocked. 99% of these calls are coming from 800, 888 numbers so I pretty much let other area codes (Except 702) call in. I pressed a button on my Interceptor ID for these idiots and now when they call back, my phone won't ring and they just go away. "You've been selected to receive a complete 4 room satellite television..." was all I got before I hung up. Assholes.

I have found this number on my caller ID. All it says is that it is out of Herndon, VA. When I call back it says, "The office is busy right now."
Must have hung up when they got my answering machine.
I answered, recorded message about satellite dish. If you want more info tells you to "press 1"
no message left--when you call the number it says "thanks for calling, the business is busy right now, please call back'

Just says "Virginia" on caller ID.
First time today.
I try calling the number back, but all it says, "The number cannot be completed as dialed..."
WHO ARE THEY? I GET THIS NUMBER A COUPLE TIMES A WEEK.
