How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

The easist way to eliminate this nuisance is to add the phone number to a "selective call blocking" list, if your phone service has such a feature. BTW, the reason for the dead line on so many of these calls is they are using a predictive calling computer. It dials numbers much faster than the reps can take them. If you pick up and no one is available on their end, it just terminates the call.
They call at like 9 and im still sleeping they allways wake me up who are they
They call at least four times a day, sometimes in the evening. I have on occasion picked up, but no one is on the line nor do they leave a message. I am not in collection, do not owe any one. It is disgusting that I am paying for the phone line and have to put up with these jerks.
I get at least ten calls a day from this number and many others. I don't understand because I don't have anything in any collections agency. The phone rings practically off the hook all day long. I have just decided to use my cell instead of house phone(I turn it off)It is beyond annoying.

Collection agency focused on credit card and health care debt (medical billing). They have an automated dialer and will not leave a msg.
