Who Called Us

They call my house atleast once a day and I have no clue who it is.

Report this to NationsLine, the National Do Not Call Registry, and the FTC. Refer to instructions below by Mark.

I have just finished emailing a complaint to NationsLine and a complaint on the National Do Not Call Registry's website. I think the Registry will be the most helpful. After filling out their form, this statement came up:

"Thank you for filing your complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry.

Do not call complaints will be entered into a secure online database available to civil and criminal law enforcement agencies. While the FTC does not resolve individual consumer problems, your complaint will help the agency investigate the company, and could lead to law enforcement action."

I have been receiving their annoying call for two months. Enough is enough. I encourage anyone receiving annoying calls from this number to do the same.

Rec'd call 3:18 pm, 2/19/2009 with a pre-recorded message stating his name was LEE and that because of the hail damage in our area (we did have the evening of 2/18/2009) our insurance company will pay for a new roof! I was told to press 1 (maybe 2, don't remember); I pressed the proper # and lo and behold, the same voice came on, LIVE! I told LEE that I didn't catch the name of his company; he hung up.

They call at LEAST twice a day. I wish we had the option to block unwanted numbers from calling!

I didn't answer, but they called my cell. I don't know how they would've gotten it.

NationsLine is the phone company to call about this, since it services this telemarketer.

Do not give any credit card or other info to this company it is a scam. Please read further comments below to learn how to properly report them. Please report them, it takes a great number of complaints to raise any red flags at most consumer protection type websites.

i got another call from them today. they did not leave a message. i have told them to take my number off of their list more than 3 times and that i am on the do not call list and to stop calling . it is either about warranty on a vechicle or credit card account lowering my payment. i don't even own a credit card. i have reported this to the do not call and still i get these calls.

Called and male voice informed me that he was calling about My Vehicle Warranty and to please hold while he accessed my records. A recording on line also wanted to know if I had all my vehicle warranty up to date and to press 1 or if I did not know if everything was up to date to press 2 and I would be removed from their call log. I have received this call on various occaisions and pressed 2 and have never been removed from their call list. I just waited on line without pressing any buttons and after 30 seconds the call dropped. I was hoping to talk to a live person and give them a piece of my mind and let them know that I am on the Federal Do Not Call List and the Idaho DO NOT CALL LIST!!!

Person says your warranty has or is about to expire. I told him I didn't need him and tried to hang up. Problem he put on some kind on auto call announcment and tied up my line until it quit. I blocked this number, so I don't have to be bothered any more by them.

Pre-recorded message stating that because of the hail damage in our area our insurance company will pay for a new roof! Then asked for me to press 1 if I needed more info - I pressed 1 but the recording stated that it was unable to complete that command - I wanted to find out who was actually calling and to inform them of the Ga "Do not call list" etc Look at the history on this number! Live Person says calling about warranty then that someone with be right with you to hold. Then recording comes on saying push one to be connected. I hung up. Looking like this won't be last of this number's calls. Read below about reporting to Nationline - Glad to see someone posts how to take active stand against this abuse. I will file complaints for sure. Thanks for the post.

They called, but did not leave a message. Caller ID said SALES DEPT. That's why I screen all calls. Telemarketers do not usually leave messages.

Same thing, quick talking guy and then into an automated service. Called me twice but didn't pick up second time. I set the number in memory with it's own special ring sound so I'll know it is them if they call again, presuming they don't change the number.

I got that same call today on my cell phone about Warranty.

No message. After reading the comments here, I will be adding them to my AT&T Selective Call Forwarding list and changing the forwarding number to their number. Now these a-holes will be calling themselves.

I got a call from these guys doing automated messages for a local township supervisor race here in Illinois. It's bad enough that the candidate is creepy, but now we get calls from a phone number in Virginia to boot!

I got a call from them today shortly after 1 pm. I have asked to be removed many times, and last time I asked I was hung up on. This time I pressed 1 and talked to this guy. I told him I wanted them to remove my number and was told it would cost $9.95 and then he immediately asked which credit card I would be using. >:( Don't think so. Funny thing is, they have no clue what car supposedly needs warranty updates.

It was a robo-call from a candidate for local office in an election next Tuesday. But I am not in her party, nor in the district. She's wasting my time and her money.

All I got was a recording about Federal Money to bailout mortgages and to hit 2 if I did not want the offer. I just hung up. Obviously more than one scam running at a time from whatever group is doing this. I read the number off of my ID, but no name.

I answered and a guy quickly read 1-2 sentences from a script. I tried to interrupt but he ignored me and then transferred me to a recording. The lady on the recording warned "this is your last notice to be in compliance" for my "manufacturer's warranty". Funny... they didn't even identify the product or manufacturer's name. Must be a scam.

Gee I wish they'd just come to the door. These people are obiously thieves and they want to hurt people

I just got a call from these people. Obviously some sort of scam...they wanted to know details of my automobiles (year, model, make etc.) for "security" reasons. I suggested that they (supposedly) should already know what automobile(s) I have since they're calling to extend my warranty(ies). What a bunch of bull. I am reporting this to my states' consumers' affairs office tomorrow. No need for this kind of scam.

They won't stop calling me either. This morning I got YET another call from them and this time when I answered, which I've not been doing it for awhile, a man was on the other end asking me to hold before I could say a word. I hung up. It's always the same thing, that my car warranty is about to run out. Heck, it's already run out and I don't care. I just want them to stop calling. Yes, it's easy to just ignore them but it gets irritating after awhile running to the phone to find it's them. I have already reported them to the Federal Trade Commerce people. That's what we all need to do, report them to get them stopped.

They are threatening that you must take care of you warranty items and recalls and that if you don't you will have severe repercussions. They are trying to strong are people into this when people don't need to even answer. No one needs to know - Extended warranties are not requirements!

I say screw 'em all. I found me a nice fax number, and called it. I recorded it with a little handheld, and now everytime i get a call from a number that says sales or something like it, I answer, and immediately play the recording. This is good for two reasons: 1. It annoys them as much as it annoys me that they call. 2. If it's a computer doing autodials, it will recognise the sound as a fax machine, and most of them remove the number from their list.

Recording stating "Antonio" calling about my auto warranty (which I do not have) and asking me to hold. I hung up and reported a complaint on donotcall.org. PLEASE REPORT A COMPLAINT ON DONOTCALL.ORG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this # called late at night and no answer at other end, I called it back and a recording repeated the # I was calling from - very concerning since I was calling from a blocked number of a protected party

This scammer called twice. He delivers an intro, then has it roll to an automated scammer.

Pressed 1 so I could talk to someone. Guy said his name was Jason Ray. When I asked who he was with, he told me mother, his friend "???" and started listing others. I interrupted him to tell him I wanted to know the name of the company. He hung up on me. I called the number back and it went to his voice mail, complete with his voice and name. I've been calling and leaving him messages.

A recorded solicitation for vehicle warranty that's about to expire. Tried to call back and got another recording, hard to understand and two choices: press "1" for something and "2" for something else. I am not a trusting man and just hung up at this point. I am on the Do Not Call list and I worked midnight shift last night. My clock says it's 3:28 PM. Would they like it if they called when their biological clock said it's 3:28 AM?

I am on the "Do Not Call" list and some how these con artists manage to get through. It doesn't matter if you are on the list or not. These scammers know how to get by the list and make these annoying calls. I just let my machine get it and I am sure that annoys them. There's really nothing that can be done. What I do is answer and then hang up or sometimes I would answer and blare loud music through the phone. You can also use a whistle as well. Another thing I would do is let them pitch their spill and then ask, "could you repeat that again? I didn't understand it the first time."

warranty file needed updating they said, please hold, before they could ask me questions i said i didn't know what they were calling me for and they hung up. obviously a scam to get my personal information. i am on the do not call list. will someone please sue them for me? i dont have time

This is a damn scam. They have dalled me about 8 times and try to get me to buy a warranty. The Kid"Antonio" speaks very fast and refuses to answer any questions and puts me straight to an automated system which then gives me only 2 options to proceed, both requiring me to buy something or give more personal info. There is no option to quit or to speak to live person. Really really aggravating

I keep getting these vehicle warranty calls OR calls about a Service Announcement(different number).
I guess I am going to have to go to the do not call list and enter these numbers. From the looks of all the complaints about these calls, that is what we ALL need to do.

We have been getting fax calls to our personal home phone number...we do not have a fax...I finally started looking up the phone number close to the calling number...and would call that business...I did find out that they were calling a heart specialist, but the fax number on his business card had been transposed to OUR home phone number.

I called the office, and they have tried to get all these cards destroyed, and sent new ones out...but there are still some out there with this number. These are calls about a persons heart, so I felt responsible in an indirect way to try to get those faxes to this doctor...think he should be paying ME for doing this service for him...LOL...

but these other calls are a real Pain...

I agree with Angie, These people need to be fined for harrasment and breaking the law by calling people on the DO NOT CALL list and calling late at night and early in themorning. They call us almost every morning and evening and I pushed the #1 button to be romoved from the list. That's a joke.

We get these phone calls several times a week regarding our vehicle warranty. We don't have and never will purchase a vehicle warranty! STOP bothering us all the time! Some guy actually talked to me and then told me to hold on, put me through to a recording telling me to push button 1 or 2. I'm not pushing any stupid buttons when it might be slamming or fraud.

It was 9:05pm when they called. It is against the law to call after 9pm. I happened to be trying to put my baby to bed at the time. I tried calling the number back, but there was only a machine to remove me from their list. I don't want to JUST be removed, I want to report them for violating the law!

703 291-9045 ID called and didn't say anything for a few seconds and finally said something like, Oh, no and hung up! I was concerned because I was denied a purchase online only to discover that my name was use at two department stores -- one account I had not used in 10 years, the other store I only use my ATM card.

ID theft is at an all time high and I trying not to get caught up in the theft! I am on the don't call list.

Got a call from them today. Automated survey about local issues from "The Northfield Group." Thought it was a scam because I'm in MA and the ID was from VA...but it actually was a real survey about our cities Mayor & our city council members. They had all the names & info correct on the candidates. This number must be used by many different companies for mass dialing purposes.

called left no message. I read on other sites that this # is calling with deifferent scams.. Car warrenty, credit card and satellite company.. Begining to wonder if this is any connection to the Monter.com hacking, since calls began at the same time.

Seems to be the same scam artists who call from 703-291-9047 and various other numbers, saying that the car warranty (that I don't have) is about to expire. There are several of these calls each week. I guess the FCC, FTC, and state attorney generals offices no longer enforce any of the telemarketing regulations or laws against fraud? I have finally decided to block all calls from the 703 area code, so I hope there is no one important who lives there.
