Who Called Us

Calls from this number started coming in about once a day, now they are up to five to six times a day. They did leave a message once and are wanting my husbands first wife of 21 years ago. Best of luck with that. She has married four times I think since my husband, and living in 29 Palms, California.

People are calling wanting my husbands's first wife. They were married 21 years ago. When you tell them this information they all but call you a liar.!!! Very frustating. Good luck in finding her she is at least working on her FOURTH HUSBAND by now and living in California....

This number has called three to five times a day for the last three days. I finally answered the phone and they asked for my ex-husband (has not lived with me for the past four years).

This number calls everyday at least 4 times and if I dont get to the phone and call it back it says the number has been disconnected.

I answered and no one spoke i've gotten calls from this number before with no one speaking.

702-835-0175 belongs to the National Union Fire Insurance Company (NUFIC), a subsidiary of the American International Group, Inc.,
These people called my home 19 times between March 09 and March 16 with 10 calls being made on the last day. I am on the DO NOT CALL list and I will take appropriate action.

Already unplugged phone weeks ago, call still comes to caller ID, caused many upsets. I blame home based Telephone Co's. Rid yourself of this number and another will take it's place. Older generation not willing to get out of the way while the internet crosses new boundaries. If you got something to say, understand your local phone co. has the last word. Might want to check out Vontage, me I refuse to budge.

Keep getting calls from this number daily..It is annoying because when you pick the call up nobody answers you when you say hello..I hate telemarkers they need to get a life and stop calling

In regards to JinPennsylvania's comment, I just found out that if you bank online with wellsfargo, you can turn off email, mail and telephone calls from their related parties. After you login, under "Account Services" > "My Profile" > "Change Privacy Preferences". I hope this will stop them from calling me.

I have been getting calls more often from this number with no one responding. I called the cust. service number JL suggested and they claimed no affiliation with the 702 number.

Called my house sand left message on my machine about adult porn and molesting a child like they molested shawn Hornbeck (here in Missouri) Since then they call and say nothing. call 20+ times a day and say nothing... for weeks now

this # called and when i answered it was dead silence. when i called back it was some insurance company's answering machine

This number comes up "NUFIC," within five minutes, a call from "WFNNB" comes (different number). I reviewed everything I have from HSBC and they're privacy policy, they shouldn't have given the number out. I have also contacted my lawyer, he's advised me to report this to BBC/FTC/etc. while he's looking into it. If in fact it is their doing, they'll be writing me a nice check from the lawsuit.

They call twice a day with and the calls come through Unknown. I answered twice and no one said a word. So I'm concerned about these calls. When they call tomorrow, I'm going to cuss their a$$ out!!! I'm tired of them waking my baby!!!

VONDA is Exactly right, I finally answered this call and he said he was calling in regards to one of my credit cards. I said ok and.......then he said Well Sir, i can help you with getting a great deal on Health ins.

These people have been calling 2-3 times a day everyday for the last 2 weeks. I finally was home in the evening two days ago and it was a telemarketing firm trying to sell credit insurance for HSBC Card Services. I told the woman politely I wasn't interested and to remove my name and number from their call list.

I noticed last night that they had called during yesterday while I was at work. I called the number back and there was recording explaining who they were and to leave your name and number to be removed from their call list. The message also warned that it may take several weeks for the calls to stop. So we'l see what happens.

They call me multiple times during the day and it sounds like a computer generated voice asking for me and then nothing. Strange thing is that I can hear people in the background.

Just got my first call from this phone number tonight, let the machine pick up, no message left. Caller ID just says Las Vegas NV Googled the number and found this site...I wonder if I'll get more calls now. If I do I will follow JinPennsylvania's advice. Thanks.

i THINK THIS IS HOUSEHOLD BANK INSURANCE SERVICES. THEY CALL YOUR HOUSE 10 DAMN X'S A DAY. I am sick and tired of their calls. I guess I will have to start cussing somebody out so I can get a little peace.

have gotten calls, every time its someone trying to talk to my father. tried calling them back and answering machine states that they tried to reach us for a special offer.

This constant calling and hanging up is very rude and should be illegal.

I have gotten 4 calls in the last 5 hours from NUFIC, I looked them up and they are "National Union Fire Insurance Company." No one speaks when I answer and when I call back I'm on hold forever.

I haven't answered this call because I do not recognize the number. They have called several times a day for the past week. This morning they called at 8:49 a.m.

Telemarketers from a recent Credit Card application do not answer

they call numerous times a day and no one speaks.

too many companies use this service so yesterday I answered, "Fraud division, how may I direct your call?" No more calls today.

I called and got a message that this was Welsfargo Insurance. Then it asked for me to leave a message w/ my name and number if I wanted to be put on the do not call list. I did and I bet it doesn't work.

They have called my husband and I about 6 times now at our business number. First they were from Chevron, then a Fire Fighting Company.

I am tired of calls from this number too. I went into my Wells Fargo online banking site and changed my privacy preferences. So far, so good.

My Caller ID registers calls from this number about 2 to 3 times per week. They normally do not leave a message.

When I received this call on my cell, I answered "Orange County Sheriff's Department, Fraud Investigations"...the calls have stopped.

Fire insurance "with an important message especially for" me.

I am also getting numerous calls from this number. I never answer and most of the time they don't leave a message. Today an older woman left a message asking for me by name. After reading all the comments I'd imagine this is a telemarketing company HSBC sold my information to.

I work at a business and we are on the do not call list. They have continued to call, they better make sure I don't get a real number to get a hold of them. GRRRR

NUFIC keeps calling my number and asking for one of my husbands friends, who does not live with us! The person on the phone will not leave a message.

My husband answered once and the guy asked for me and said he was from Wells Fargo. Once he heard I wasn't available, he hung up. Then they called once a day, now it's up to 4-5 times a day!

Got another one of these calls today. I didn't answer; I just let it go to my machine. Of course, no message was left.

Many times over the last 3 weeks someone from this number has called. We screen our calls and if you don't leave a message, you won't talk to us unless we know you. I finally talked to someone who asked for my 66 year old mother that doesn't even live here. I have no idea.

This number has been calling my house for weeks now. I don't answer it because I have caller ID and it shows "Global" on it. Most of the time, no message is left on my machine. I have been receiving calls from this phone number for the past 2 months. In the beginning, it was a call maybe once a month. Then it increased to once a week. Now they call more than 5 times a day. VERY FRUSTRATING!!! For all calls, the male on the phone stated he was from Wells Fargo... I know that Wells Fargo has no business calling me at my residence, as I didnt give them the number. They call even after being asked to remove us from the call list. They don't say anything sometimes. They will argue when you tell them you have already asked them to remove you.

This number 702-835-0175 has been calling my land line for several weeks, several times a day. Most of the time I don't pick up. A week ago I called the number back, a younger man answered the phone, answering "Hello". Didn't seem like a business. I asked they stop calling. They said they must of had the wrong number and they were sorry. They still continue to call. Tonight this number claimed to be Universal Mortgage and was a courtesy call. I said please stop calling. My story is the same as the others. Started calling mid-November and calls 5-6 times a day. Caller ID says "Global." I don't answer. It's a constant irritation.

I have encountered the same problems that everyone has experienced. That number shows up on caller ID at least 5 times a day. I have signed up on the National Do Not Call list. I hope this solves this problem. It is so annoying! The calls started around mid November and got a call about 5 minutes ago today.

I also called the freecall number recommendet and told them i will contact authorities. I really got loud on th phone :-) So they just hang up.

These idiots just keep calling relentlessly at ALL times of the day. I have caller ID, and id just says "Nevada". I've also reported it on the list many times. Doesn't seem to help!

These people call dozens of times a day, and there is no one there when you answer. Sometimes they call as late as 10:00 pm!

They have called serval times a day since 11-07-2006. I never answer it and they leave no message.

My fiance says that they call all the time and ask for me. just this morning at 10:56am and he told them i was sleeping and he asked to take a message and they told him they would call back. I called the # and it just rang and rang.

Alright, so I was called 8 times yesterday and I got pissed. Picked up the phone from 702-835-0175 only to find out that they're selling insurance for Wellsfargo.

This number I got from a wellsfargo customer service person just in case I got cut in the transfer. It will ask for your acct/pin, then you can go into your privacy preference and turn off all those telemarketing/mail promotions. That will stop the calls from them.

It's a legit number, but if you don't want to just take my words for it, you can call the 1-800 number on the back of your wells debit card. You will get connected to their customer service.

call 10/11 10/13 says nevada call no one on line

Calls have been increasing in frequency with three in last two hours. I don not answer because I believe even doing that gets you mailed to another list of numbers where 'people answer'...its fishing for live numbers...mine is a cell number some I am a bit unsure how it got on this list.

I have call forwarding selective. So I setup a rule when they call me, the call gets forwarded back to themselves. I bet when one rep ends up talking to another they wonder what’s going on.

I believe this is related to HSBC Credit Cards...if you don't check the right box in the privacy policy they sell your contact info to everyone...and claim the HSBC business relationship as the right to call even if on the DO NOT CALL list...

I finally reached the Credit One customer service people. They took my name and phone number and said that they'll take my name off their telemarketing phone list. She also said that it will take up to 30 days for the order to take effect.
As an after thought though, if you don't want to give out your name and confirm your phone number, it's probably best to just ignore the phone calls? hmm....

Same deal with the endless calling from the NV phone number, so I called the number provided by J L earlier.

I ended up reaching the Credit One enrollment department. The guy that answered the phone told me their computer system is down and I'd have to call tomorrow 9-4 pacific time get this settled.

I started getting these calls soon after I stopped answering calls from HSBC. Not sure if they are related in some sense.
I like knowing they are paying someone or something and wasting their time dialing.
I sometimes answer and wait in silence, just to see if I throw them off. LOL

The caller id showed a call from Nevada, no company name. They asked for my husband. When I said just a second, they hung up.

After weeks of these idiots calling and calling I got out my starter gun and waited. It wasn't long till I saw "Global" on my ID so I answered. A few seconds later a woman answered. I didn't wait for the pitch but started moaning that I couldn't take these calls anymore! I really poured it on and finall with a breaking voice I told the woman I could NOT take these calls anymore. I fired the starter pistol and dropped the phone.

I have not had a call since. Today anyway...

Please look at JL's post from 09-18-2006 to aide you in getting these calls stopped. Global has shown on my caller ID for over 3 weeks now, two to three times a day with some hang-ups. Called number back rings busy. Called again and rings till recording states no one is available to take your call. I was able to talk to someone one time and they stated they were with Wells Fargo. When I called Wells Fargo, they had never heard of Global and do not use outside companies for solicitation of special credit card offers. Tonight after reading JL’s post I called 1-800-698-1005 told them what was happening. I also told them that if the calls continue after I have asked to have my number removed from their calling list, I would contact the Federal Trade Commission and report them under the CHAPTER 87—TELEMARKETING AND CONSUMER FRAUD AND ABUSE PREVENTION. Thank you for the information JL. I hope this works.

My mom asked me to look into this number on her caller ID. She's got more than a dozen calls the last week or so. 9/22/06. Caller ID just says Nevada.
I called them and the line was busy. WTF?

Five times today, picked up once, no one there. They call daily.

ok, i've just started to get these phone calls this week and past. it is frustrating and only lists itself as "nevada." i emailed a friend i know in nevada to see if it was them, but from the looks of this, it seems it's some kinda phone spammers?! what the hell? i blocked the number, so i hope it keeps them from calling. someone let me know if it doesn't work to block them. i've gotten the "global" calls before too, weird.

I figured this # has an ext. So I called back 702-835-0176. I talked to some one!! I told them what was going on and was referred to 1-800-698-1005 (customer service). I spoke with a service manager and was advised that they are Credit One Bank and know of the # that is calling us (located in LV NV). I told him what was going on, and I advised him I live in FL and he was breaking the law by FSS 365.16, Obscene or harassing phone calls (2nd degree mis), and FSS 877.03, Breach of Peace. I told him the authorities would be contacted if these phone calls continued. That was two days ago, so far no more calls. What ever state you live in, go to the State web page (i.e Myflorida.com) where you can look up state statutes. I'm sure you will find that they are breaking the law in your state.

Called 9/6, 9/8, 9/9, 9/11, 9/12, and again today, 9/13 -- never left a message. I tried calling this number back, twice -- got busy signal both times. Then they suddenly called us back. When I demanded to know who they were, they said they were Chase making a courtesy call, then cut me off before I could demand they stop calling.

Called 7 times on 9/5/06 @ 9:09a, 9:18a, 10:26a, 12:14a, 1;16p, 2:48p and 6:13p. This has got to stop!!

Not a day goes by that the name Global doesn't come up.Sometimes they call just once, sometimes more. I don't know who it is so I never answer but it's beginning to irritate me.

Aight, these people are calling constantly. we are on a no call list and they don't care. They ask to speak to my mother and I told the woman on the line not to call back because she was on a no call list and she gave me attitude saying it was a business call and that she was gonna call back, then hung up. Something should happen to these people, this is harrassment!

Call 2X's a day since 8/24/06 (Today is 8/26 - so for 3 days). The time of day varies. I do not answer. 1 hour after last call I received from this number, I received a call from same area code (702). Caller ID said "Hilton Grand VA." I called number back and received a canned message for a special offer from Hilton Grand Vacations. I do not know if there is a connection, but since I know NO one in the 702 area code, I suspect they are related.

They said that they are with Wells Fargo. The Caller ID said Global.

Asked for Timmy. Roommate said I was not home and they hung up.

These people have called five times a day for the last week. We have VOIP and have set it not to ring during certain hours. But, you can press 3 if your call is important, to have it ring. They have done that. I finally answered it just now 8/9 8:38 pm and they asked for someone incomprehensible. When I asked who they were they hung up.
