Grant assest had problems with this before

They called 10/9/2006 at 8:57am. I didn't answer, so I don't have a message

They have been calling my cell all day now again at 9 pm. This morning I told them I did not want any more calls I wasn't interested in anything they had to offer. I have had this problem with another phone number about amonth ago with a 702 area code.

Got a call last week - tried to call back with no results. I got another one just now. They number they are calling is my E-Voice number. This in turn sends a text message to my cell when I have a message. They can't even do that. All you get is a bunch of background noise. At least if they would have hung up right away they wouldn't be wasting my minutes. I don't think a phone line should be allowed to dial out when its not allowed to dial in. Especially if its a business line.

When I answered my cell phone, the person on the other end would not speek. I said, "Hello," four times and waited for a moment each time. Fianlly had to hang up because I am at work. Why do companies get our number, which takes oour cell phone minutes from us. I did not authorise this company to obtain my number.

I have had numerous annoying calls from this number. I had one call inparticular from a woman who called me a bitch. This company, whatever they may be, is COMPLETELY unprofessional!

I have two seperate calls from this number- both have resulted in no person speaking on the other end. The first time I received this call I called the number back, however, I waited for two minutes with the phone ringing without any sign of and answering service or human voice. THIS IS EXTREMELY ANNOYING & SHOULD BE STOPPED!

I have recieved 4 calls in 2 days. 3 of these times it went to VM and no message left. The 4th time I answered on the 2nd ring and they hung up on me. Very annoying to get this many phone calls on my cell phone and never leave any message what-so-ever.

I called this number back and actually got a person after the 3rd time. They said it was because I wanted to learn about grant assistant programs. I never gave my number out to anyone and this annoys me. I really hope it stops soon.

I got a call today at 9:42 A.M., no message. I found this site and see I'm not the only one. On my cell caller ID, it says the number only, no name. I'm in Cleveland, Ohio.

This person called my mother at work and he did leave a number but it made me suspicious because he promised to give he a free info packet but she needed to pay for the postage. He then asked her for her credit card number. Hmmm...

Rec'd two calls on my cell this morning: one at 8:48 am and another at 12:40 pm. No name, nor identifiable comments on cell phone's caller ID. I refuse to use my minutes or roaming charges to call Nevada (702) from my state if RI (401).

today is the first call from the number, but could be the second time this month- I did not look it up but when I dialed it it was busy, just like now.

They called me once, but at the time my phone was off. I've called them back about a half dozen times, but every time the phone is busy.

Recieved a call from this number at 9:09am on my cellphone I wasn't available so my boyfriend answered it for me. Said the woman didn't speak very good english.

A woman with a strong oriental accent asked to speak to my husband and I said he was unavailable. I asked who she was and she said she wanted to give him some grant monies. When I said he was unavailable she said ok and hung up.

they were on the phone for a while and kept saying 'hello' lots of noise in the backround, people, phone ringing.

They continually call my cell phone and don't leave messages. The calls start at 8am even on Saturdays and will happen 4-5 times a day.

at the time my phone was set to silent. i only know that they called me at 7.46pm and they didn't leave a voicemail message. i have not tried to call back the phone number. i only found out this by checking the phone number on the internet.

Received a call from this number for the first time today at 7:11am. No message was left and there was no caller ID, only the phone number. In addition, I registered my cell phone with the Do Not Call months ago. Not sure if they are in violation of the law.

We had this number call us on Wed. night asking for my wife, she is a teacher, they wanted to talk to her about a grant but at the time we had company and she told them to call the next day. They called 12 times yesterday durning the day. Then again late last night (10:59 pm), the phone rang again and she thought it was my work since I am on call. Since I did not hear it ring, she woke me up and told me about it. I went and check the caller ID and it was this number again. I am going to talk to my brother-in-law today and ask him to have a couple of his police buddys to look in on this.

I'm getting those same calls. I also don't answer the phone as I'm at work. When I call back Ii get a busy signal. What's really going on?

Grant Aid Assist is calling all day long, everyday and late into the evenings. They never leave a message. I'm on the national do not call list, but this doesn't seem to help much. I plan to block the number with my Caller ID box.

I just received a call from 702-818-2457 and on the caller id it read the number was from GRANT AID ASSIST. I registered my number on the do not call list so how did they get my number and who is this? When I tried to call the number back I got a busy signal.

They have called me 4 times today, the first three i did not answer and the last time i answered and had to wait a few seconds because no one was on the line, then the lady introduced herself and i cut her off and told her that i was on the national do not call list and i would appreciate them not calling me again.

This is the second time this company called, I was on the other line and did not answer. The last time they called the hung up on me.

Recieve several phone calls from the number throughout the day they only left one message. Could not understand the message very well. Called the number back, received a busy singal twice and the third time a lady answered and claimed to be from a government agency that assisted people with getting grants.

I received a call from this number multiple times but they do not leave a message but I see this number on the caller ID. I tried to call this number back and let it ring at LEAST 10 times but nobody answers the phone.

I just received a call from this same number. I called it back. To my surprise, someone actually answered! The original caller said someone from my number made an on-line inquiry for a product called Beautiful Skin. But the caller ID shows "GrantAidAssistance". The guy I talked to when I called stated they do business with many different companies, like a call center. I told him not to be calling my number anymore. He said he would take it out of the que. They called twice first time i hung up the second time i asked if they would take me off the call list. They said that they would not.

Got a call from this number yesterday. Jan,19 at 1:26 pm. They said I had ordered a info packet and needed to pay $1.98 for postage. They wanted a credit card. I hung up.

This number came up as "Nevada Call" I didn't answer it, and they didn't leave a message.

Don't know what company called it was 7:49 pm on 1/22/07 I didn't answer because I didn't recoginize the phone number.

I got a call from 702-818-2457 on 01/25/07 at 7:35pm. A female with a strong east-asian accent tried to convince me I applied for a grand somewhere on the web and if I will pay for shipping they will send me an info package. She asked for a credit card. I am an international student from the Czech Republic and I pay for school myself (in cash :o(. I told her I don't have a card and she wanted me to get my buddy's or relative's card. There was a lot of background noise and her English pronunciation was terrible. I could not understand half of what she said so I told her to give me their web adress. It sounded like irograntwriter.com but it does not exist. Stuff like this just pisses me off.

They've called my cell # at least 20 times today (and it's only 3 PM). I'm getting real tired of them. These calls are using up minutes on my cell phone. I'm about to call my service provider to report their # so that I am not billed for these incoming calls.

I have had the exact same thing happen as Cristina!I actually had a ring when I tried to call back one day...it said, "Thank you for calling Corporate Office...please hold..." It rang, someone answered and I hung up. I should have asked what company it was. One day I actually answered and the person knew my name. I have no idea who they are and what they want. It's a Las Vegas area code is all I know.

I answered the phone and he said he was from I Auction Wizard and was doing a follow up call. I told him I was about to call my credit card company because there was a charge on my statement from his company I didn't authorized. He hung up the phone immediately. I ordered a CD from this copy and paid a shipping fee of $1.84 for the CD. They charged a fee to my credit card without my permission. I spoke to this company and they claimed this was the terms of the order. They sent me a copy of the terms and the terms were for another company (bidfuel.com). I am in the process of going through my credit card company to get this removed.

They called me several times on my cell & home numbers. Today I answered, they had info that I gave to Bidfuel.com concerning their Ebay package. They tried to get me to give them my card number so they could charge for the shipping. I said I didn't have it, female w/ bad english tried to get me to call home and get it. Then when I said I'd have it tommorrow she was very pushy about when she could call me back to get it. I contacted Bidfuel and it was not them. However the address they had we the exact one I gave bid fuel and noone else so they might be related.

They said I signed up for something, which I didnt, and they were going to send me free stuff and I told them NO and they get saying ITS FREE and I told them NO about 3 or 4 times! I could barely even understand the man on the phone. He also asked if I was getting married. And I asked what website it was that I "signed" up for and he would never tell me!

your office called my house at lest 3 times. when i got sick off them calling I finally ask how they got my information. lucky for me none on the idiots could speak enough english to understand them. This is the fifth day, I've been getting calls from this number on my cell phone.I just called back, they don't identify themselves, theres some weird music playing in the background and an automated voice says that I am first in line and my call will be answered shortly

These guys have many names and number search this number 1-702-818-2427 they claim to be a debt place to help you get your shit under control. I hit a 27 instead of 57 at the end and I bet they sound like the same rule people. I can't beleif what bitches would work to rip people off. I bet they don't well. They have called 3 times today. I don't answer numbers I don't know, especially if its from other area codes. I did try to call back, but there was no answer. After I googled this number I found this site. I am definitely going to report this because I have put all my numbers on the no call list 4 months ago. You can't trust anyone these days.

Received 2 calls today one at 5:20 and one at 8:07...I was not by my phone and they did not leave a message. I did attempt call back but got a busy signal. Anyone online know what we can all legally do about this?

Hi all, I just went to the national do not call registry and filed a complaint on both of the calls I received. Maybe everyone should and with such an overwhelming amount from the same number, maybe something will be done. I also think sprint should be notified of this website and should see what one of their customers is illegally doing!!!!

Got another call last night about 9pm...only one call yesterday...I reported the first 2 and have reported this one, and I am going to continue to report every one that comes in to the national do not call registry. Everyone should be filing a complaint there. They do get law enforcement involved if need be.
I will not answer their calls, and I have a very, very long answering machine message...2 of them actually, so if they want to sit thru it all and get frustrated everyday, let em!!!!!!

I've received three calls from this number in two days. The first two happened at 10:53 pm and 11:26 pm on the same night. I slept through the calls but they did not leave a message. Then last night they called at 10:41 pm and I answered. When they asked for me I told him it was way too late to be calling me, seeing as how it was almost 11:00 and he put on a tone like I was the one being rude for not wanting to take his call while I was in bed! He kept saying he was calling about free money from the government. I finally just hung up on him after five minutes of trying to get off the phone.

i tried to do phone seach on it it seems it is a cellular number serviced by nextel communications. but when you call from your cell phone answering mahcine put you on a hold it seems it is a company it seems kind of phone fraud

one after another.
I tried a few times to call back, busy.
I tried again and low and behold I got through:
A Lady named Sheryl Brown with A Grants Program,
I told her I didn't want anymore calls, get this she asked for my number,
and there was no way I was going to give it to her.
I chewed her if you will, and asked her what kind of business they are running, I told her to go to google.com and do a search
under their number because there is alot of pissed off people out there,and that there will be Law Enforcement Agencies and FBI involed in this mattrer so they better quit calling,scamming and pissing people off!!

on march 6 I answered an ad from "MY DOLLAR STORE" A DOT COM connected to DANNYSREVIEW.COM a site that supposedly lists online scammers to be warry of. Stupid I answered the ad and filling out the form gave my cell phone number and email address, within an hour I had over 20 spam messeges in my inbox, the next moring I started receiving phone calls from this number which I did not answer. My number is on the federal do not call list.
I will be reporting this number today.

It is some kind of telemarketing place. They get your number from something you have recently filled out online. They asked me for cc # but I said I did not have one. They told me to go buy a prepaid cc and then call them back with the # and they would send me a grant booklet. Being on the do not call list doesn't matter if you give your # on the internet.

Called about 12:34 PM. Heard kids crying in the background and some lady who didn't speak very good english asked for me. When I asked who was calling while I went to look for me they said something which sounded like they were speaking to someone else other then me (maybe next to them) and then they hung up. I have a bad feeling they'll be calling back. This really is dumb. It needs to stop.

Whoever it is that has been calling, they sure are persistent. It actually is a royal pain to get calls all day long from these folks starting at 7:30 a.m., and ending at 11:00 p.m. This better stops is all that I can say. It's been happening now for 3 1/2 months.

These people called every day. Finally my son answered and was about to order whatever they were selling. After giving his info. he decided to cancel. They became beligerent and after we hung up they called back and berated me for hanging up. After a brief arguement they began to beep the phone and then came back on and taunted us because they already had the info. I threatened to sue and was told "I don't care". These people acted more like bill collectors than merchants. Although the call was routed through the 702 area code I suspect it actually originated from overseas. Probably a boiler romm operation from which a multitude of scams are perpetrated. Beware.

They have been calling multiple times a day for weeks now, to ask for a "Denise". I've had this number now for almost 3 years, and there is no Denise here, nor has there been. They don't seem to want to believe this, even if they pretend to, because they call back again and again.

I assume this is some sort of grant assistance number but they did not leave a message. I have a call screen service that costs about $3.00 a month. I work for a State Agency and the cell phone they have been calling has no name associated it. I don't know how they got this number as this phone is used only for law enforcement related business. This number is associated with people that claim they can help you obtain a government grant. They claim to have a free package they want to send you, the only problem is they require a $1.95 charge against a credit card, or of course they will take a debit card. I am sure they would like your debit card number so they could drain your bank account. They claim that the "package" cannot be send COD. These people are calling from a Nevada area code (around the Las Vegas area), they all have foreign accents, and I would consider them to be scam artists. They are not sophisticated enough to be classified as scam artists deluxe, but they talk fast.

I have received many, many calls from this number with no messages.

I tried to return their call. While I was on the line my call waiting beeped in and it was them! They wanted to send me an eBay kit to teach me how to be a power seller and charge me $4.95 for shipping. I talked for her awhile, pretending to be interested. When she asked me for my card number I told her I wasn't interested anymore and that I just wanted someone to talk to. She hung up on me. I enjoyed wasting her time.

Someone with a (fake?) Indian accent asked for someone whose name I only know because I have been receiving packages for him through UPS from various companies. When I checked with the companies who sent the packages, I found out that someone had been ordering things online with my credit card and had these things shipped to my home address. The credit card company had already picked up on it and cancelled my card. Apparently, the person is still trying to use this same credit card online. The fraud department of the credit card company suggested I file an Identity Theft case with the local police department.

I am receiving continuous calls from this number 2-3 times a day. The first time I answered a woman tried to sell me their scam, but I refused. She is keeping calling me and anytime I answer she hangs up. If I do not answer she never leave a message. I tried to call back asking to stop this annoying spam but the phone is always busy (it is probably set not to receive calls).

I did a reverse phone search on this number (it displays "GRANTAIDASSIST" on my caller ID) and the records indicate the number belongs to a cell phone in Las Vegas, Nevada, and that the provider is NEXTEL COMMUNICATIONS. It would seem that since most, if not all, of us are on the "DO NOT CALL" list, we could contact NEXTEL in Las Vegas and complain about their customer using that phone number! Yesterday they called me 12 times! AT&T tells me *60 can only block local callers - not toll free or long distance. The rep from AT&T told me to "SUE" the caller for violating the DO NOT CALL list. They must have a HUGE cell phone plan with unlimited minutes! BTW, when I called that number back, I got the voice mail for some guy who promised to return my call if I left a message. My guess is that after the message I left, he won't be giving me a call, though I'm sure the rest of his "team" will continue to call until someone gets to his provider. Of course, then it's just a matter of these people getting another carrier and starting over. WHY CAN'T WE BLOCK LONG DISTANCE AND TOLL FREE CALLERS WITH OUR TELEPHONE TECHNOLOGY?

ive recieved 6 calls TODAY from a different number than the (702) its a (480) but its still a NV num. Its an man with an indian accent telling me I registered and qualify for FREE GOVERNMENT GRANTS...Hmm...i doubt it, nothings free we all kno that an espec. from our gov. he requested a c.card for the shipping and hand. fee. i declined and said i dont like to give out my c.card info over the phone then he went on to tell me how SECURE the call was an YADAYDAYDA! wutever...Its def. a scam.

Hello, I cracked the case!! Everyone, this person, calling from 702-818-2438, works for Zip Web, their customer service hotline is 1-800-222-5529, I just called, I complained, and everyone else should too!!! Thank You, thank you, thank you.

After numerous calls from this number, (23) in one day, I finally answered and told them I was not interested. Another call the next day, signed up for the grant assist, and was given numbers to call back and cancel if not satisfied. Neither number even has a ring, and now the $#*&% have my debit card number for my checking account. I could kick my own @&&. Do not let these people scam you!!!!

If any of you have given out your debit or credit card number to these people, I urge you to immediately contact your bank or cancel your card. These people will continue to charge the $29.95 fee as well as the $9.95 fee to your card. The numbers they gave to cancel are bogus.

I kept getting this number show up (702)818-2450 and it was really annoying..they would hang up or leave a message about some promotion...if I called it back I would get a busy signal.I did research and ended up calling (702)616-7394 which was some Hilton promotion department...well i acted realy nice and told her someone had called and left me a message to call them back..she told me they would call again, don't worry..I told her nicely that I need to get contact information because when they call they hang up(or leave an annoying message) and that I needed the info to turn it over to the attorney general and BBB...she told me she was very sorry and would be more than happy to remove my number from their database...anyone else with the number showing up..try that!!

They have charged my debit card twice so fsr. $49.90 is the magic number - check your Debit card if you have an EBAY account - they seem to get it through there. I am working now to get a new account set up and cancel this one. I emailed them and asked nicely for them to stop - not reply doubt I will get one. Watch your bank statement.

I have been hounded by these same people. I just got another call and decided to ask them who they were and what they wanted. She was clearly asian and difficult to understand . She said that they were calling because of my recent inquiry about selling on Googles new site and that she was a representative of Google. I told her I was NOT interested and please remove me from their call list, she got ugly and asked me... "then why did you inquire to begin with". I responded in saying that I was interested at the time , but was NOT interested any longer and I am now institing and demanding that I be removed from their call list. They called my land line about 15 time in a 24 hour period, they were rude and unprofessional.

When they called and it would go to VM they NEVER left a message and called every 5-10 minutes and about 15 times in a 24 hour period extremely annoying, I answered twice and there was no response at the other end. I think this must be some kind of scam . every time they called and I would not answer the phone I got bumped offline like they were doing it . I found that really odd, but nontheless it happened every time they called, oh and it came up Globalreach INT. Be very careful people. I get a very strong feeling that these are BAD people.

they called me and said that i had recieved a goverment grant of 5,000 dollars because of something that had to with my taxes then they told me that i would also recieve a medical card in the mail in 2-4 business days and that after i answer alot of questions and agreed to pay out 39.95 that the 5,000 dollars would be put in to my checking account in 24 hours by 3 a clock. so gave them my info and the guy gave me his employee number and told me that he was from us goverment grants department and then got all of my info and i still have never seen the money and today is the day they are suppose to withdrawl the 39.95 from my account.

I think, when I type my massage, I do NOT anderstand what is comment mings. For everybody ho give the account nomber and debit (or credit) card nomber:
#1. If you give for somebody YOU DID NOT now -- 16 digits from your debit (credit) card nomber, exp. date of your card and last 3 digits from your debit (credit card) for outorization, DO THIS: GO to your bank and block your debit (or credit)card, and ask bank meneger to print you new debit (credit card).
#2. If give somebody your routing AND full account nomber, THEN: you NEDD TO CLOSE your acccount, OPEN NEW ONE and moove you money TO THE NEW ACCOUNT.
I did that once (ordering staf by phone and give my bank infomation #1), but now I wont do it again !!!
