i get these computer generated calls from tahiti village waking me up at all hours..how do i make it stop???? pls

I've blocked #702-430-4444 & several other numbers.

I get satisfaction by immediatly adding these nonsense calls to my SELECTIVE CALL REJECTION list ... My phone company provides this feature with my phone service. Local #'s can be added manually ... long distance #'s can ONLY be added by following the prompts after getting the phone call. To access this feature thru my phone service I dial *60. If your phone company provides this feature, use it. Check in your phone directory under Products & Services.

Although I get nuisance calls from new #'s, I am slowly, but surely, fighting back, as I have seven #'s on my list and the frequency of new calls has diminished.

I've been called repeatedly by these morons. I can tell you it's not the real DishNetwork people. They call me twice a year to confirm my billing info and their call center is in a different state. These guys are trying to scam people by claiming to be a legit company.

If I could only find a way to get them to stop calling me.

This person has been calling on my old phone and my new phone. Received a phone call from a girl said "I'm sorry". Another time "This is Jerry, let me get to the point, I'm offering Satellite from Direct TV.." The person is likely to be making money off those call. By reselling phone number when hung up. Or trying to get your account info as in "Phishing". There are cable company that offer reward for "spot the dish."

Now sure of to send this to all the phone numbers listed on this site, but one trick of the trade.. Try this website, at least you can put in the area code and the prefix, and it will tell you more about the number in question.

I just have seen this site before, and never made any comments until now. Due to Dennis posting, I find that is a good idea. Myself I used to do Skip Tracing, and there are a lot of websites still out there if you know how to find it, to find out more about these numbers.

I just wanted to suggest to everyone that one way to stop the calls might be to contact Dish Network. While they are probably not responsible for the calls, they probably do not want their brand sullied by this fly-by-night operation, and might be able to get it stopped.

I just received the most offensive call I have ever gotten from a company purporting to represent Dish TV. I have been exasperated at the number of telemarketing calls lately and when one came saying "this is Jerry from Dish Satellite TV" I pressed 1 to get a rep and said very simply "you need to take me off your call list." The rep immediately launched into a stream of profanities. I have filed complaints with Dish and the FCC, but it appears that I am not the first. I want to encourage everyone who gets these to file through official channels to try to stop this.

Rep was extremely offensive when I told him to take me off their call list.

Interesting. My husband's girlfriend (yes you read that right) called his cel from that number. She must be in telemarketing sales, I'm sure her parents are so proud. Loser tramp.

Call me every day at least 4 times, talked and requested to be taken off list, only to be hung up on. this week, I spoke to a representative. said they work with Satellite Communications Systems and Radio shack froma national call center. Radio Shack does the installing Jerry was the TM name...as soon as I asked how he got my number, he hung up. I'm on the DNC registry, this has got to stop.

If you call the number back, and push # while the prerecorded message is playing, it beeps and lets you leave a message.

I've been giving other telemarketers the number, and then blowing into the phone and hanging up. I bet a few of them called the number trying to get me back!

Caller sounded foreign couldn't speak clearly said i was in some promotion told me my personel info clearly from the phonebook and said it was related to some holiday promotion filled out in a mall. But too bad I never filled any holiday promotions out. When I asked for full name they said Dave Sanderson which I assume is a bogus name. He refused to tell me who he was calling on behalf of and hung up

i get calls from this number and when i pick up it says "i'm sorry" and then it hangs up. If they are sorry why don't they stop calling

I answered and after a few seconds a female voice said "sorry" and then the call was disconnected.

i live in las vegas. iget 5 to 10 calls a day from the people returning the calls to 702-430-4444 and that is not my number. i thought someone was forwarding there calls to my number. people are getting mad at me and threating me for calling them. i have called all the phone co. and no one could help. i am told that the people making this call may be spoofing the number. look up spoofing on google. unbelieveable

Wow! They called back AGAIN, this makes 3x since I said dont call me back/on DNC. This time today they wanted to call and make sure I wasnt paying too much for my home morgage payments. I tried to hit 1 to speak with someone, no answer. Then I called back and it goes 'Butch, can I help you', no nothing else. I told him the opt. #9 to remove from list does not work, neither it seems does speaking with someone about this. He informed me that "Missy, it sure does, I can bet on it, youngin".....what nerve.

Pre-recorded call about health insurance. Waited for the message to complete and then pressed 1, cause I was 'interested'. Once I was connected with an operator, I told them to remove me from the calling list as they called my cell phone. "I'm removing you manually right now sir!"

It's a fly-by-night call center, probably overseas, that uses VOIP to make calls on behalf of clients. The VOIP set-up then accesses U.S. phone lines through a cell phone in Nevada.

I wonder how their clients feel about them harrassing my wife all day . . . I plan to ask them. Fortunately, I'm in the collections business and have some amazing skiptrace tools available. I've told my wife to get as much information about who their calling on behalf of as she can. Then I'm going to do a corporate records search to find out who the officers of those companies are, and skip trace them to get their home addresses and phone numbers (usually available even if it's unlisted).

Then it's a simple matter of every time they call, I call ...

Whenever I see that number 702-430-4444 show up on my caller ID I just don't answer the phone anymore. However, I work nights, so it is really annoying because they call constantly as Satellite Dish Network at least once a day, sometimes more, in the middle of my sleep time. When I used to answer it was a recorded message. They just called now, in the middle of dinner, and I'm mad because I stopped eating to see on my caller ID it was just them bothering us again.

However, SBC is also a sub of AT&T. The link above may not be the caller. One might be receiving carrier data instead of the true caller. Someone needs to get in touch with either the Nevada State Attorney General's Office or someone who is familiar with Nevada's telecommunications authority and see what (if any) options there are.

I have had multiple calls on a new phone #. I have had this number for only 2 weeks. I have asked them to remove me as I have dish network and have had it for 10 years now. The last gentleman hung up on me when I tried to discuss this with him.

The message appeared to have started and the first part seemed to be cut off. It was a life health insurance company that said how good they were and to press 1 to
takj to a representative. The message was well rehearsed or it was a tape. You couldn't stop or interrupt during the message.

We got a message but didn't answer. I am sure we will get another call since we are getting many sales calls in the Atlanta area from these guys to MCI who won't stop either.

Rcvd a recorded call for Dish Network, hung up. I dialed my husband at work and asked for him by name ("Mike"), person on the other line said, "Let me talk to Mike." I said "Put my on your do not call list." The woman kept saying, "Let me talk to Mike." I hung, up, picked up again to call my husband, the woman was still on asking, "Let me talk to Mike." I told them I was going to call the police from my cel phone if they didn't hang up. Hung up again. This time they hung up but they called again asking for Mike. I told them I was dialing the police. A few minutes later, they called back, I let the machine get it but they didn't leave a message.

I had the police come and they said there was nothing to do unless they called back again.

It looks like they are an illegal operation and it doesn't matter if you're on the Do Not Call Registry because they are operating under the radar. Still I am glad this website exists because at least I know I'm not being personally harrassed.

I've pushed "3" several times but they still keep calling. When I push "1" to talk to a person, no one ever arrives and then I am disconnected after about 2-3 minutes.

I just got a digital phone last week and started getting all these calls before I even knew my own telephone number. (my old number didn't "port" because it was a "metro number". There was an article in the WashingtonPost.com online today about "VISHING". washingtonpost.com

I don't answer the phone if I don't recognize the number. Now I'm considering turning off the answering machine when I see an unrecognized number but I'm not sure if that will stop the calls. I can't wait until the National Do Not Call Registry kicks in but from the looks of the other comments on this page that may have no effect. I have also blocked anonymous calls. I sure hope these criminals get caught SOON. And shame on the scumbags who sold and distributed the telephone numbers. They are no better than the criminals. Read the article to get educated.

Brand new number, one person has my number...or at least I thought....this number called yesterday and today....It just rings twice and hangs up.

When I pressed 1 for information my intent was to ask for me name to be removed from the calling list. The person who answered the phone was rude, did not let me complete my request and hung up on me. I am reporting this number to the Missouri Attorney Generals office and if the calls persist I will request them to be fined.

Received a call on my cell phone from this number. Only the number showed. I did not answer. It left a partial voice mail opting in or out but no identifying names. Tried calling the number several times but only got a busy signal.

Had three calls in a day about 2 weeks ago, naturally, I simply hung up, after all one cannot be rude to a computer(yet.).

Pre-recorded message offering something like refinanacing a mortgage. The voice sounds a lot like the pre-recorded male voice offering the DishTv (from this same phone number).

i received a phone call today at 6:41pm and they stated that they were from my credit card company stating that they wanted to lower my interest rate and then they hung up on me after trying to get card information. please beware!!! do not give any information by phone unless you are calling the company themselves!

recieved this call a few days ago, my caller id had the number and NA in the bottom right corner. when i picked up theres was no immidiate answer but then i heard a noise as if someone was running a coiled phone cord along a table edge but then i heard panting and heavy breathing as if it were from an animal, as this was going on there was a crackling sound a very rapid cracking sound and the tone of the cracking and breathing would change sometimes it would sound like a tiger or lion, and then throught the cracking and breathing it was if someone was talking in slow motion tone. eventualy after a long period of time the call ended and was disconnected. each time a called back that day it was buisy but when i called at night it asked if i would like to be taken off of their calling list

Recorder message saying that they wanted to review my account, which my bank does when they are pitching something. I was then connected to some female who mumbled something and then said "peace out." Im sure that they are scamming something!

Called ID says Las Vegas. Automated Voice Message says its from Cardservices. Says to press "3" to disregard but of course, it doesn't do anything. Repeated calls within minutes of each other. Aarrgh...

I had 6 calls in the last 4 days from this number, if I try to call the number back it rings busy.

Nobody responds just hangs up after a few minutes. Calls 7 times a day all hours of the night. Never leaves message, never responds. If I knew who owned the number I would personally drive to Vegas and beat them to a pulp!

20-50 calls in a month span, autodialer is set too high and I have never spoken with a real person, even when I change voice, response, pause, don't pause, etc. Cranking and burning their list, and recycling it over and over again, the *beeeeep* because they call 8a most days and wake kids up, grr.

Let the answering machine pick it up...weird weird noises...like something out of a movie. even weirder that it's a Nevada call and I live in Indiana. beats me...but it was just weird, prompted me to look for address.

I got two calls from 702-430-4444. The first one was on 6/21/06 at 1:42 pm and the caller ID said Service Center then today on 7/5/06 I got a call from 702-430-4444 at 12:21 pm and the caller ID said Nevada. Same number but caller ID said two different things. When I listened to the voice mail today I could hear a person on the other end for only about 2 seconds and they left no message and hung up.

Voice message said they were Jerry from Dish satellite tv...when I answered and pushed one the sales rep was rude, cursed me, and then hung up. They call often.

I get calls from this number 4-5 times a day. Some sort of recorded satellite dish sales pitch with an option to talk to a rep but no option to "opt out". Out of frustration I pressed "1" to speak with someone about the problem. Someone answered and as soon as I mentioned why I was calling (to have my number removed) he hung up.

These people have been leaving recorded messages at WORK wanting me to purchase a dish from them. It is very annoying for a hole-in-the-wall company to call someone at work and continually leave these recordings.

This has been reported to dish network. Hopefully it gets relayed to someone who is willing to take legal action that will shut these people down. We get calls from these people on multiple numbers with both the Dish Network and credit recordings. Attempts to speak to the agents results in the same obviously unproffesional responses listed by others here. My only other hope is that they actually obey the national do not call list, of which I am officially active on 7/3/06.

This isn't really Dish Network or any of the several other companies they claim to be, the Dish Network people are great.
These people are scamers who are "pishing" while claming to be from legitimate companies (and in return hurting those companies good reputations).

About 5 "hello?"'s and thirty seconds after answering, the gal informed me she was calling "...in behalf of a local newspaper." I promptly hung up. My husband works nights, but cannot turn the ringer off when sleeping during the day; he could get called in ealy to work, or God forbid there was a family emergency. I do not appreciate these companies holding our phone line hostage.

Voice message said they are with Satellite tv at first thought I assumed dish network, however on the net there is a company called satellitetv.com which is a sub of eCorp.com which seems to be pushing sales for a little of everything. I wonder if that is really the company? Just with misleading name. Perhaps I will try to call them later and see what company they say they are really associated.
