a indian sounding women called me pretending to be from sprint. SCAMMERS!!!
I don't answer strange or unknown numbers. I don't know who called. I am on the DNC registry.
I didn't answee this call because I never answer unknown calls on my cell.
I received a call from a gentleman with an Indian accent telling me that I was chosen to receive a free flip phone from Sprint. I informed him that I was on the do not call list. He said... "oh" ... and I said bye and hung up.
update... I got about 5 calls from this number today. Finally, I answered and requested that they not call me any more.
A man with a thick Indian accent kept trying to sell me a Sprint phone. I kept telling him that I was happy with my Verizon phone. He said he would give me free incoming minutes on Sprint, but eventually he gave up. Sprint is the devil.
An East Indian guy called, kept me on the phone nearly 15 minutes informing me that "I’d been chosen 2 receive a free Sprint Wireless phone". All he needed from me was my name and address 2 ship the phone 2 me and would cost me nothing. I played along w/ him, gave the name and address. He was "Good". He kept me on the phone, asking questions trying 2 get more info. He asked for my date of birth, and I replied w/ a question about their company's web address because I wanted 2 check them out w/ the Better Business Bureau b4 I answered anymore questions. He started stuttering up a storm then. After 3 minutes of him "trying 2 continue" w/ his barrage of questions, he finally gave me an address and phone number 4 the "company": Sprint Wireless, 1625 Waterlanding Way, Jericho, NY 11753, (800)923-9037. Of which, the BBB of NY had no record of such a business. Once I couldn't pull up anything on Rip-Off.com or the BBB's website, I politely ended the phone call by telling him that I was currently at work, and had spent enough time hearing about this "Great Deal" that he was offering, and that I'd just review the materials he was sending in the mail and decide from there whether I wanted the phone and the package or not...and that if I didn't, that I'd promptly return it. He didn't like that too much...and has since...as of 11:25 am today, called back 10 times. I hope he likes the ringback tone that I have on my phone...It's a snipet of comedian Steve Harvey CUSSING telling "Scam-Artist telemarketers "where they can SHUV IT! HILARIOUS!!!
