Every one admits that life is not very cheap, but people require money for various issues and not every man gets enough money. So to get some mortgage loans and secured loan will be good way out.

I've worked for Maritz in the past. They're employed by several clients and honestly do just take surveys. If you want them to stop calling, answer (you'll keep getting calls unless you do this) and politely tell the poor person working there, "Please put me on your Do Not Call list." You have to say those words to get it right: "Do Not Call list." Otherwise just take a few minutes out of your day. From what I understand, they're mostly customer satisfaction surveys.

After like 6 months of numerous calls at random ass hours. I finally answered one....BB&T survey. If I didn't already hate that bank.....well they sure sealed their fate! I hate crap like that. Goodbye BB&T, hope the survey was worth it!

got this call on my cell on saturday, 4/26/08. Didn't leave a message. Read previous posts regarding Enterprise Rent-a-Car, I did rent a car from them earlier that week.

I didn't answer - but I did rent from Enterprise recently.

Probably Enterprise Car Rental related, as I got a call 1 day after returning a car.

After reading some of these I realize that it could be I received this call because i rented an Enterprise rental car this week. I wasn't home when they called and they didn't leave a message, saw it on caller ID. It came up as Merritt research

Male said he was taking a customer satisfaction survey for TDAmeritrade. I refused to speak to him. Called at 5:40pm, Good Friday.

didn't leave a message but i did rent a car from enterprise recently. The rep from enterprise did tell me they would give me a call about customer satisfaction.

I didn't answer. I think it's ridiculous that we have state and federal do not call lists that 3rd party research companies are allowed to bother individuals because they're not "selling anything", instead cite they're doing research. Whatever. Caller is Merritt Research.

This company takes surveys on businesses and financial institutions. They asked questions about the frequency at which I go to my local BB&T Bank. When i told them less than twice a month thy asked if anyone else in my hose goes there. I told them =my nephew does. They asked to speak with him and I told the guy he was still eating dinner. He said he would call back

When you Google this number you find hundreds of complaints from people who have recently rented with Enterprise who are being harassed by this number. When you call the number they identify themselves as "Marriage Research". Enterprise claims they work with a "survey company". Survey research calls are exempt from the restrictions that have been placed on telemarketing calls. It's very shady. Its their sole purpose to try to collect personal information about you (in the form of a "survey"). What's more disgusting is that Enterprise does not offer an "opt-out" feature when you reserve a car online so you can be free from "surveys". And they don't warn you that you will be harassed by this "survey" company.

Caller ID identified them as Merritts Research out of Kirksville Mo. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message but I believe they do customer satisfaction surveys for a number of other companies. We recently rented a car for a couple of weeks and I'd bet that's what it was about.

I rented a car from enterprise. I read a message on this site. I thinks it was a survey. I was told at the enterprise office I will get a call and be asked about my experience. I usually don't answer numbers that I don't recognize.

I've seen people report it is a customer satisfaction survey for Enterprise, whom we used very recently, but we screen our calls if we don't recognize the number, and they did not leave a message, so I can't say for sure.

Called around 8:30pm. I answered and no one spoke. I hung up.

They called my cell phone on 1/10/08 at 6:26pm. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. Just wondering who they are.

They called and asked from me by name. Claimed to be from Bank of America. By the time I reached the phone, they hung up. Earlier in the day, Bank of America had contacted us because of fraud on one of my credit cards. Coincidence? I called Bank of America fraud department, the Bank had not called me.

Been calling 8x PLUS a day since Sat 1/5/08!! Kirksville, MO where the number is registered as a land based line. No messages left ever! Did receive an Enterprise free rental from my local Cadillac dealer while vehicle was in for service. No paperwork signed by me. Going to fly to Kirksville, Mo and kick someones rear for the non-stop all hours of the day and night calling. Calling on a cell phone no-less.

Maritz, Inc is a company who conducts customer satisfaction surveys for different business. Enterprise is one of their clients. They usually call back several times. I don't answer. Mom said not to talk to strangers. I don't want to be in their data base any more than I already am.

NO MESSAGE...I'm from Missouri so I was concerned with this #. I had actually just rented a car from Enterprise and read a review of someone in the same situation. Not a good business practice and if I receive another call of this kind, I will most certain contact the appropriate authorities.

I'd bet this was related to Enterprise Rent-A-Car even though caller ID said Maritz Inc. I just returned a rental to Enterprise two days ago. I did not answer and they did not leave a message. From the web, it appears Maritz does customer satisfaction surveys. Let's just say I'm not satisfied with Maritz for annoying me and leaving no message. And I'm not happy with Enterprise because the rental had a horrible odor and looked like it had never been cleaned.

They called my cell # so I didn't answer. I checked this site and saw it was Enterprise Rental. I rented a car from them 2 days ago so it makes sense. They left no msg.

I receive calls to my cell phone from this number, typically early evenings. They never leave a message. I'm also a frequent Enterprise rental car customer. Now that I've visited this site and read other's comments, the calls do correlate to the day after I've rented Enterprise. Mystery solved. Thanks for this great site!

See maritz.com - VERY spacey video utilizing psuedo-psychological appeal to pitch their services to other companies. Pushing "people power." Apparently, the company, the customer and the retailer/service provider are all one big human dynamic with a power all its own that WE all need to tap into. Yeegads.

We rented from Enterprise last weekend. After seeing several references to Enterprise here, I can only assume that's who it was.

I called back a couple of times & go a perosn's voicemail, then called back 12 hours later. Message said it was Maritz, & blah blah blah that their calls are exempt from Nat'l & state DNC lists, so I left them a message & asked them not to call me again...we shall see

Guessing that this is an customer survey outsourcing service, that both Enterprise and Bank of America are using or have used. Could be other companies leveraging their customer survey services as well.

Merritts Research called twice today. They claim to be exempt from do-not-call list laws since they don't sell things.

I have been getting calls from this number everyday for about 2 weeks (including today). This kind of stuff puts my panties in a wad. Do these people think I am going to provide them with any information after they irriate the poop out of me!!??!!

My caller ID say "Merritt Research". As like with most of you, they do not leave a message. When you call it back, they pretty much tell you that they can call you because the "Do Not Call List" does not apply to them.

The mistake these people are making is that when you tell someone not to call you....they can't and by law have to remove you from their call database. This constitutes harassment(sometimes you may have to do written request)

I used to work for a research company (about 9 years ago) and even then, when "they" (the people we always seem to bother at dinner...lol) told us not to call them, we had to delete them off our system. The company made sure to beat that in our heads because of all the complaints and lawsuits.

Obviously, karma has bitten me in the butt...lol

Anyways, I think this call may be coming from Vonage Internet Phone or from one of the "New Health Care Systems" in the local area. (I have not rented a car in years).

Maritz does market research, and they are careful to explain the do not call lists do not apply to them; however, as I explained to them, I have told them specifically not to call me (also in writing) so the next time they do I plan to sue.

Received another call from Maritz Inc on caller id. No message. This number does not stay in caller id. My id keeps a running list for upto 20days and this number disappeared from when they called a couple of days ago.

I got a call today with no message left. I called it back later on my landline and the voicemail said they were conducting surveys. After reading some of the other comments (I too just recently rented from Enterprise) it looks like they are conducting a survey for them.

I am calling all of you to reinforce the fact that our company never has a car waiting for you when you pick up. I see a recurring theme, our service is awful and everyone HATES these survey calls. We will making calls via a predictive dialing machine and hang up on more than we contact. Seems to me that we are aggravating more than improving customer service. We will keep it up!

it is a survey done by enterprise rent-a-car. they should be telling you someone might call you after you return the car at some point in dealing with them. your do not call lists are void here since it is not a cold call and enterprise is not selling your info, the survey is for their information.

I was out for Dinner and when I returned this was on my caller I.D. and had been received on 7/12 at 6:44 P.M.

Called my cell twice on 07/05/07, first at 5:34pm est and again at 7:41pm est. I called back and it is a survey for Enterprise, they have a recorded disclaimer stating that since this is not a telemarketing call, the National DNC list has no precedence. They do give you an opportunity to leave a message, I left one requesting them to take me off their calling list and haven't heard from them since.

We recently rented a car from Enterprise and it was rented in my mom's name but I drove, ADA (american disabilities act). This is the first time that this has happened. I didn't think they they did something like that, Enterprise. I did some research on the # and Maritz inc. is a third party research for Enterprise. Bad business on their part, I think. Got a call from Maritz Inc. They are marketing company that was hired by my Bank - BBT. They were looking my experience with the branch and other services the branch can provide. I don't use the bank that much. Online and electronic payroll great things. But they are looking for people to stay and buy products from them. The "FastFood" Drive through is killing them. My only comment to them was to put this in an online form. That way, if their system goes down, like it did, they would not have to call back. The back should invest in technology and hire providers that do the same thing. But they do have good service in the services that they provide to us. To anyone getting these calls, no account information should be given out. And no SS# numbers. They did not ask for them but do not forward that information.

No big deal the number was for Enterprise Car Rental survey. If you don't want survey calls-read the fine print of ALL contracts before signing even utility companies do follow-up surveys through outsourced companies.

I got a call from this number at 5:09pm 5/15/07. I recently rented from Enterprise-Rent-a-car, and after seeing some comments I figured it could be a survey about their service.

Thanks to this site, the mystery is solved - Yep, I rented from Enterprise a few days ago. They must have wanted to take a survey.

They are a surveyor for Enterprise Rent a Car and can call because you made a purchase BUT! you can contact Enterprise and tell them to stop. If they do not after your contacting Enterprise, you have a valid complaint. "One caveat: if a consumer asks a company not to call, the company may not call, even if there is an established business relationship. Indeed, a company may not call a consumer - regardless of whether the consumer's number is on the registry - if the consumer has asked to be put on the company's own do not call list."

Called my cellphone. I very, very rarely get 'junk' calls, so I became curious. They also called at 8:14pm, which for me is too late for any and all marketing/sales attempts. This is a great resource for consumers.

Another website states a common factor of others receiving this ph number is they recently rented from Enterprise Rent-a-car, as did I.

Got a call from them myself today, but I was on the phone with my grandmother, so I didnt answer the call. I tracked the number to a land line in Kirksville, MO, but I don't know anyone there. If it was Enterprise that would make sense though, because I rented from them last week as well.

Answered, but no one was there. Again, like many of you, I recently rented from Enterprise.

This number showed upon our caller id yesterday and this evening while we were out. No message left. I too rented a car from Enterprise recently. I haven't gotten any calls from them to my cell # that I know of. (Don't keep my cell on all that time though.) We too are on the DO NOT CALL list.

I saw this number called earlier in the day when I wasn't home and when they called in the afterno0on I picked up. I witnessed an accident the other day and thought maybe it was regarding that or something. However, when I said hello they asked for a Jose. There is no Jose who lives with me, never has. They hung up

I see that some people here heard that it was from ENTERPRISE RENT A CAR. I rent from them often so I suppose that's why I'm getting the call.

I hadn't noticed the Enterprise car rental connection when I left the first message. Yes, I also rented a car from Enterprise within the last few days before receiving this call.

I got this call, but missed it. I guess it's the Enterprise thing as I just had a car from them.

I noticed that another person posted that the call was from someone doing a survey for Enterprise Rent-A-Car. I just recently rented a car from Enterprise. I did not answer the call or attempt to call them back, but it seems like this is the likely reason of the call.

I got the call twice, but didn't answer. So I called later at night, after the second call. It says there not a telemarketer but a survey taker. And I had rented a car too last week.

call came up Maritz Inc...and sure enough, I rented just days ago from Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

Caller ID showed name and number. I didn't answer; no message left. Looked up name of company: Maritz Inc. They have a website: maritz.com They have a vague and uninformative "what we do" link that doesn't reveal anything. There is a company profile on them at Monster.com, company.monster.com, that reads in part: "Maritz Inc. is ranked No. 166 on the most recent Forbes list of 500 Largest Private Companies. Maritz provides market and customer research, communications, learning solutions, incentive initiatives, meetings and event management, rewards and recognition, travel management services, and customer loyalty programs."

Did you recently rent a car from Enterprise... it's a survey asking about your rental experience, within the contract that you signed you stated that it was OK for them to call, eventhough you're on the Do Not Call List...

I noticed someone rented from Enterprise and got a call from this number. Same deal here as we rented from them this past weekend.

I received 2 calls from this number, one on 1/28/07 and one on 2/11/07. Both calls were on my business cell phone, but I didn't answer because it wasn't on me at the time. I do rent cars from Enterprise fairly often, so it is probably the same survey other people are getting.

Previous post said that caller identified themselves as from Bank of America. Might check out as I am a BA customer. Another post said it was an Enterprise Rent-a-Car survey. Could be as well as I rent a car from Enterprise this weekend.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car's outsourced survey company called me regarding my recent Enterprise rental experience. I assume I must have signed something saying they could use my info for their business use only. No problem but I think I was told by the Enterprise rep that they "wouldn't share" my info.
