How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).

Not plausible .... Phone call management devices are not cheap to develop and they capture a niche market at best. By the time a given device finds a decent customer base, either the surrounding telecomm hardware changes or the junk callers have altered their tactics to defeat that device, or both.
Is it possible it's those who want to sell phones with the capacity to block numbers that are making these annoying calls?
They want to get people hopping mad enough that they decide to buy telephones with the capacity to block.
