How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

I used to work for this company (TAI) back in the day. I hold a few grudges so im going to spill the beans for all you pansies on this website. They are a telemarketing company that has contracts with diffrent charites. Wishing well, veterans, fireman, and various police patrolman lodges. They call ON BEHALF of the charity to solicit funds from residential customers. Its perfectly legal and legitimate, however the actuall percentages are ridiculous. The charities get anywhere between 10-25 percent of the actual donation. I worked there for a long time and its a revolving door so all types of people work there. Felons, pedophiles, drug dealers and users, you name it. The pay was great and im sure i probabaly actually sold someone reading this now since I SOLD ALOT OF PEOPLE IN MY TIME THERE (at least 60 donations a day, 5 days a week). So stop complaining on this website. The only way to fight them is to start a lawsuit witht he attorney general about harassing calls. No other way to it. Chances are most of you reading this dont have the time and money to sue a company that has ALOT more money and resources to fight back. In the end, JUST BUT THE "PRIVACY MANAGER" box, which wont let blocked calls ring into your phone. MORONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The caller said they were soliciting donations for the Illinois Vietnam Veterans Association. I told them I am not familiar with the organization. They said they support Illinois vets and that they would send information they have filed with the government to verify their 501C3 status if I wanted to see it. I told them I was not interested and hung up. I Googled their organizaton's name and saw a link that said it was a scam and the organization lost their non profit status 14 years ago.
"Illinois" came up on caller ID. When we answered they hung up
I answered. No response from caller.
Hung up on me when I asked who's calling.
Caller said "is [wife's name] there"? I said who's calling- response was Oscar, as if she knows an Oscar. Asked for Oscar's last name- answer was Hernandez. While I was telling him that we don't know him and hanging up, he then blurted out that he was calling for America's Food Bank or something like that.
