Who Called Us

Message from "Jondra" being left for "Barbara Ward" and I picked up phone to let them know there was no "Barbara" at this number. These people have called 3 to 12 times a day for weeks and never left a message. I told her there was not and never had been anyone by that name living at my house, however, a friend Lee Ward had died a couple weeks ago but she never lived at my house either. She said she would remove the number. I said obviously the database has been messed up. She thought so too.

they call me 4-8 times a day

They call my cell 5-6 times a day, no message. Very annoying.

While I do have a Discover card I never gave them my cell number, which is where they called.

If the credit card companies want money, would it kill them to IDENTIFY themselves?

I'm being called by this number 6-7 times a day...this is, obviously, harassment. They will not leave a message so there is no identification of who is calling or what they want. I am signed up on the "Do Not Call" registry, but it takes 30 days from the time you register...geez, I have to go through several more weeks of this? Sigh.

They call me four times a day. I don't have a discover card & have never had one. I wish they would stop.

This is scam asking for personal information. They insist that I give them my social. They are all bogus. File an FTC complain. ftccomplaintassistant.gov

This was a legitimate call from Discover.

i don't have any discover cards! and i have never had one. plus, they call me on a cell # that even my friends don't know as i use it only for craigslist. i don't think it's discover. this must be some kind of a scam

discover wants payments and calls at least every hour on the hour including sundays and every other day of the week - this begins the day pymt is due

I'm pretty sure this is Discover Card. They also called my cell phone.

I will not answer the phone and I've read here that this is Discover. That makes sensse because I recently decided to no longer pay my credit card payments, one of which is Discover. 30% of my salary just to make minimun payments with no light at the end of the tunnel when I have five mouths to feed. I think the banks will be fine with their government bail outs. I'm going to try to settle for 15-20% once these go to collection.

yes, it is Discover Card calling my cell because I have the same address as a non-relative who is delinquent. I called my attorney general and placed my cell number on the no call list and told Discover that if they call my number 1 more time - I will cancel my card!!!!

I answered the phone and person asked for someone who had the same name as my oldest daughter. My daughter has been married for nine years and I told them she did not live here any longer. She asked who I was at which time I ask who she was. She claimed that her name was Carla and was with Discover. I ask her if this was a collection agancy and she would not give any information and said it was a private business matter. She asked if I would give her my daughter's number at which time I told her to give me her number and I would have my daughter call her. She gave me the number 800-347-7565 and said to call between 8:00 and 11:00 PM. To me it doesn't sound legit. I never have the number to my daughter. Is This Discover, a collection agancy or a scammer?

Saturday morning, 8:30am, no less. I have had a call from these people on a Sun. as early as 7am!!

I have been getting calls from them also. I am going through a debt solution program and they just don't seem to get it. I found a way to block their calls on my cell. If you go into settings and security, you can restrict calls coming in to those just in your contact list.

They have just called again... Didn't leave the automated message though... It's monday, and I suppose this is how my week will go, it is now 11:43am, 2nd Discover Card automated call today.....

623-643-2575 called on my cell phone this morning at 9:00am, left a message on my voicemail to call 1-800-347-0344 Discover Card.... I was unable to make the full minimum, so I made a partial payment, and of course they are now calling six days later to find out what's up......

These dirty ba$tards can go f*ck themselves! Its time to end the fiat money (money by decree)credit scam!

PS--If you don't know, the federal reserve is a private institution owned by private banks. It is NOT "of, by, and for the PEOPLE!" It's the billionaire boys club trading CDS credit default swaps).

Now they are paying their dues--Basel II has gone into effect which eliminates the banks which don't have transparent banking practices. Burn Baby! BURN!!!
