They call a few times a day, never leave a message. I finally called back after visiting here, pressed 1, and then entered my phone number to be removed from their list. The recording claimed that they had an offer from bank of america.

i get calls about 6 times a day from this number, i also have call block on my phone which stops the calls but it stillshows on my caller id as block, dont answer this call, stealing infomation

I am getting up to 8 phone calls a day from 616-980-4030. This is NOT Bank of America. I contacted the bank and they do not know this company. Under the Consumer Protection act passed in 1991 and updated in 2003 it is illegal for them to call you after 30 days once you request to be added to a Do-Not-Call list. Go to FCC.gov for more information. You may also add you phone number to the natioanl Do-Not-Call list at donotcall.gov.

"Some states permit you to file law suits in state court against persons or entities violating the do-not-call rules. You may be awarded $500 in damages or actual monetary loss, whichever is greater. The amount may be tripled if you are able to show that the caller violated the rules willfully and knowingly. Filing a complaint with the FCC does not prevent you from also bringing a suit in state court."

I am a Vet and work nights and I am a single fther of 3 I takcare of during the day. I explained this to them and told them to stop calling. hey have refused to stop the harrassment!
Needless to say after 27 calls in a week and a half 80+ in the last 3 weeks, I am filing a law suit against this company for not only violating the Consumer Protection Act but I will be seeking damages for harrassment for the large number of calls. If others are receiving the same number of calls as I am we should turn this into a class action suit and shut these people down!

Looked through caller ID and saw that I had received 72 calls from this number in the past three weeks.

Finally answered their call today and told them I didn't want whatever they were offering, and hoped that was the end of their calls. 2 hours later received another call from them, and told them I had already spoken to someone earlier and that I didn't want their services. Just now answered a third call from them today and asked that they stop calling my number. She said she would mark me down. We'll see.

I get four to eight calls a day from these people. Most of the time I am not at home and they do not leave a message. I have no idea of what they want and I don't intend to find out. I am screening my calls.

I REFUSED TO GIVE THEM INFORMATION AND I CALLED BANK OF AMERICA'S 1-800 NUMBER. THEY ADVISED ME THAT BANK OF AMERICA IS NOT MAKING THE CALLS AND THEY REFERRED TO THEIR FRAUD DEPT FOR INVESTIGATION.

They have called 6 times since yesterday morning.

It appears private names,telephone numbers and perhaps more have been sold for a profit. Third party sharing may be the loop hole for this blantant violation of The do not call list! Check you credit card lenders.

Receive calls at least 2x a day in morning and evening.Picked up once and there was silence. If I see AGI on the caller ID, I don't answer the phone.

called and asked for another name, I told them this was "wrong" number, there was no one here by that name, the next day they called again, again asking for no one we know, again I said you have the wrong number please stop calling, the operator said they would remove my number but it could take several days.

We get as many as five calls a day from this number. We do not answer it because we already know it is a harassment caller. We have caller id so we can see who the caller is - tn removal sys. A search on the internet shows many complaints about these calls. How does on go about putting a stop to these calls?

Wow! are these guys incorrigible pricks! Receive 3-5 calls/day in spite of being registering years ago with the national do not call registry. Filed a formal complaint about AGI with the state AG of Michigan. The address information you will need to report the matter to the state AG is cut and pasted from a post below. 4011 Plainfield Ave NE, Grand Rapids, Mi 49525. Caller id identifies the caller as AGI. Don't know with whom they're affiliated, but I have not had a B of A account in over 10 years and have moved twice in the interim. My current phone number has been registered with the national dnc registry since 2003. If this doesn't work, I'll next report these creeps to the FCC.

They call every single day 2 times per day. We have reported to do not call list and they still keep calling. Say they have a credit report to send for free. We have told them no repeatedly. We've been getting calls from this TN Removal Sys at 606-980-4030. At first they were daily, but now they have been upped to multiple times of the day at all hours. They ask for my husband, when I say he's not here they say they will call back. Always seems to be the same female voice. My husband did speak to her once and was so annoyed at the time she called (9pm) that he listened for about two seconds and then swore at her. She continues to call. Very annoying. We are on the National Do Not Call and do not get other solicitations. They say they are calling on behalf of Bank of America.

Here is the low down on these crank calls...Both 616-980-4030 and 517-933-2016 are calls that are made from Grand Rapdis, Mi and Coldwater, Mi.
When calling the number back you get the Order confirmation Department.
I used the reverse number system and found our where these calls are coming from. The parent company is called LUCRE INC. This company is a telecommunications company dealing with residential and commercial phone service. The company is a competitive carrier offering voice and data services in Michigan. They are located at 4011 Plainfield Ave NE, Grand Rapids, Mi 49525 and the phone is 877-465-8273, 616-361-0128 and fax # 616-361-5717 with a websiteat lucre.net
So have fun with this inofrmation. I already reported it to the FCC.
The caller tells you that your credit card XXXX is not in trouble but would like to confirm a pending order. It just so happens that they refer to a credit card that was canceled over a year ago.

AGI calls me twice a day. These bastards need to be nuked. I have contacted our Attorney General about these losers. Bank of America is aware of AGI and considers them scam artists. Whey someone as large as BoA can't put a stop to these guys is beyond me. AGI states they are affiliated with BoA and they are not.

So I couldn't wait to speak to these incredibly rude and bold people again after speaking to my local authorities. After telling them that I was filing a complaint with the FCC they said they would stop calling but it could take a couple of days. I told them that if they continue to call since I've already asked them to stop, the more complaints would be entered. Trust me, they didn't like that I told them I filed a complaint. I suggest if you have the time to do that yourself. Also, call you phone company you are will and ask them to block this number from calling your house, even if you are on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY or HAVE YOUR PHONE NUMBER UNLISTED. They call approximately four times a day....during the worst times. When I asked them to stop calling, they told me that they would keep calling until they spoke with the person they are specifically asking for (my husband). Incredibly rude about it as well. Unreal.

I've been having the same issues everyone else has. It's unfortunate nothing has been done about it. I hope everyone receives this message. I called my phone company first and they said that they only thing they could do is block the caller. However, if you are on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY and also pay to have your phone number unlisted this doesn't help. So then I called my local authorities (NO EMERGENCY NUMBER) and they advised me to pick up the phone the next time they call and tell them that if they don't stop calling me that I will file a complaint with the FCC, the number for the FCC should be on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY WEBSITE FOR YOUR AREA. Hope this helps all of us because this is BEYOND RUDE AND SICK!!!

They've been calling me several times month since 2009. Yesterday, they left a message on my machine. Some guy was singing horribly and then he referred to me by name and said he was my "deaf angel" (I think he meant death) and that he was going to kill me at 5 o'clock. I think it was supposed to sound scary but it was pretty funny.

I recently purchased a nice inexpensive Panasonic wireless phone which has the ability to block up to 30 different incoming phone numbers. This gave me my first chance to test the Panasonic's call-blocking feature. Sure enough AGI tried again today. The Panasonic's call blocking worked as advertised and killed the call on the first ring.

I have checked with Bank Of America. They state that no such company (AGI) works for them and were concerned about the possible damage this company could do to their reputation. They took down the information I provided and indicated that it will be passed on to their legal department for further action. Anyone else so inclined might want to follow up with a call of their own. If you call their Customer Service number, ask for a manager and give him/her the info.

I wish the individual states would implement a simple complaint site for pursuing these jerks. No point in having the feds do it. By the time they'd get around to it, we'd be living on another planet.

So i finally got really mad after another day of calls that i finally did not let them speak when i picked up. I straight up said I WANT A SUPERVISOR NOW! I said I dont know who it is they are looking for but to STOP calling. I am getting 6x calls a day and its very annoying.

Go to the National Do Not Call Registry's secure website (donotcall.gov) and file a complaint. If enough people report these con artists, the FTC or competent law enforcement agency might take notice and go after them. Asking someone who engages in such dubious practices to stop calling, take you off their list, or put you on their do not call list may either not work at all or even compromise your privacy even further in the first place. They will probably laugh at you. Blowing a boat horn on the phone, on the other hand, might give you pleasure but probably won't solve the problem either, aside from the fact that it's usually a computer, not a person, who dials your number. Let's get smart and do something effective to put an end to these annoying calls once and for all.

I've read the messages regarding this TN Removal Sys and I agree with everyone's statements. They call several times a day, but leave no message. I seem to recall another company that did the same thing (I believe from Canada). I answered and in a strong language told them to stop calling or I will press charges...don't know if they laughed at my remarks, but the calls stop. They claimed they have no control since the calls are computer generated.

I understand if you somehow have a business connections with some of these companies that they can skirt the law and say they are "just keeping you informed", but enough is enough. We just received a call from "TN Removal List" ( Note: Our business is in Tennessee so looked official w/the TN ). Not sure if this matters but we JUST changed from AT&T to Comcast and AT&T was calling up to 6 times per day EVEN when we had their service. Now I looked up the #702-520-1467 on "411.com" (great site!) and it showed it as being a land-line in Las Vegas. How odd?
I answered the phone and they said nada, I then called back and went through the steps to remove our biz #, hope it works? Sometimes I think doing that opens Pandora's box!

The number was 702-520-1478 TN Removal list, they wanted to give me a $200.00 gift card to Wal-mart but needed a credit card number to insure I was the right person. It is a scam to get personal information.

I called the number back and everyone here is correct, you get a recording and it said "if you are not intersted in reciving our promotion and would like to be place on our do not call list please press 1" so I did and the recording said thank you and that was it the call ended. This is a scam and this TN Removal Sys is using any company name, made up or not just to get a hold of who they need to talk to. If you see this company call just call back and just add your number to the do not call list if they call again pick up and tell who ever answer that you already called and put yourself in the do not call list if they call again you will report them. So farm it works hope it works for you.

I get a least two calls per day from this number. As I screen all calls using the Caller ID, I never answer any incoming calls from numbers that I don't recognize. Calls from this number are annoying. Hopefully, they will end soon. The FCC needs to shut down these annoying callers.

I litetrally receive a call from this number every 20 minutes or so, every day starting at 900am. Everytime I pick up, it hangs up instantly, and when I call it back, it is a recording stating someone is trying to reach me from AIG reagarding a special offer. It gives me the choice to press #1 to opt out of being called again, but when I press #1, it says that is not a valid option and hangs up. I'm getting sick of this, and at the point where after 4+ years of having the same cell number, I'm thinking of getting it changed. How do I make the calls stop???

This AGI company constantly calls, at least twice a day and at times more! usually when you pickup the phone nobody answers! I have gotten numerous calls from this number ID'd as TN REmoval SYS. I just ignore them because they never leave a message. But be aware, there are devices that some companies have that allow them to display anything they want on your phone's Caller ID. This is a tool that is used in the collection/skip trace world and companies have been caught posing as John Hopkins University, local police departments, Dept Of Health and an asundry of other ID's, so be careful who you give information too and what information you give.

Said that I could cancel by calling within 10 days, or I would be charged $12.95 per month. I called B of A this am, and they said that they would remove my info and that it would take 3 days. I suggest that evertone call the company that the caller claims to represent, not the number from which they are calling.

Caller sounded like a frightened young woman calling from a bull-pen environment. Called number back and recorded message promised a "great deal from Bank of America". Caller ID was T N Removal Sys. I assume this is an identity theft type of scam. I have called the credit bureaus and put a fraud alert on my credit history. That will net you 90 days of protection. What is disconcerting is that they asked for me by name, and in connection with Bank of America, where I opened an account in just the past month.

I had a similar problem with Dish Network since I was a past customer and they wanted me back. It took about three weeks after requesting to be removed from telemarketing list, but th ecalls finally stopped.

The call is to sell a service called Privacy Assist which is run by a company sub contracted by B of A. Note that the free credit report and credit score is NOT a FICO score. It is a score from another company which nobody has heard of or gives a rats ass about. It is NOT useful to have that score because it will not be the same as your FICO. If you use their service, you can NOT get another useless score for another 90 days. They send you email alerts for inquiries and changes on your three credit reports. You would have to wait three months to get another credit report to directly monitor the result. They don't give you three credit reports. They give you one, combining info from all three. Some similar info with different details may be left out. They could assist my privacy by NOT calling me ever!

THANK YOU!!! I sent a blistering email to this guy and I got a reply this morning saying they will not be calling me again. So everyone email your phone number to him and they will stop.

People have been calling here for at least three weeks. I talked to them the first time and they asked to speak to my husband, who was not home. She said she would call back. I told her, "Don't bother." They kept calling it and I kept ignoring it. On 6/9/08 they called and my husband answered it and they offered him some free credit report blah, blah, blah crap. He told them he wasn't interested and hung up. They are still calling every.single.day. I have filed complaints on every DoNot Call site I can find. They are driving me crazy.

AGI on my caller ID. First calls from them today. Left a message on my machine and they did know my first and last name.

I just received the 2000th call from 616-980-4030. This time someone was there when I answered it. She asked for my wife, which won't take calls from telemarketers. I told her she was at work and worked weird hours. At that point this lady told me she was selling ID theft protection for customers of Bank of America. I asked her how to get hold of this place because my wife was really interested in ID THEFT PROTECTION (all lies). She said they don't normally give out phone numbers but said to try this number 1-888-433-3481. PLEASE CALL THIS NUMBER AS MANY TIMES AS POSSIBLE TO GET THE POINT ACROSS THAT THEIR CALLS ARE IRRITATING! The callers name was Kay Wagner from caller id AGI. When you call, tell them Kay Wagner gave you the number and that she told you this number would take care of all your complaints. I also did a little further research and found out that there are some lawsuits against AGI for false advertising. Ask about how their case is going in Florida. Thanks for listening, Charlie

They are supposedly calling on behalf of Bank of America, trying to solicit a third-party plan that they'd like you to enroll in (1st 30 days free, after that for a fee). I have been on the DON NOT CALL REGISTRY since 2006; I finally went back to that site and filed a complaint against this company/phone number. A follow up. I called Bank of America, and the rep claimed to have no record of this phone number being one of theirs, and suggested that this is a scam number.

I answered a call from AGI (616) 980-4030. They had been calling for several days, multiple times a day. They said they were calling on behalf of Bank of America. They were offering a free 30-day trial credit report and credit score. They said after 30 days, I would be able to cancel by calling them back or sending a letter in the mail requesting to cancel the credit report subscription within 30 days. Later I contacted a CSR at Bank of America and they said they do not use a third party solicitor or group called AGI, but they do work with AIG, which is a publicly known insurance company. So beware! Do not agree to anything from AGI and more importantly, DO NOT GIVE OUT any information.

Asked for me by name when my wife answered. I got on the phone and they hung up. Many previous calls went unanswered.

Call twice daily for the past 6 business days, always ask for my wife, never will tell me who they are with and refuses to leave a message.

Calls multiple times a day, everyday. Have asked them to remove me from their list, have filled out the Bank of America online form to stop the calls and have sent written notice to be removed - they still keep calling. Filled out form on Michigan A.G. site for formal complaint - have been assured that i will be recieving a nice check for ever call they make to me from now on. michigan.gov

Heads up!!! I used to get random calls from many numbers. I set up my fax machine to auto answer after 2 rings. This number used to call many times a day. The last time was almost 2 weeks ago when they got my fax machine loudly beeping in their ears, if there is even a real person on the other end. Just thought I would share my possible success story with everyone here and maybe it can help some others. GOOD LUCK!!

When I get fed up with "Out of Area" and 1-800 ect calls, I answer them and put the receiver next to my radio and they can listen to KLOVE. Maybe they'll get saved????? It has reduced the calls.

I get calls from this number every day. When I answer, the call is disconnected, but if they get the answering machine, they leave a message telling me to call. This is one of those new scams where they pretend to be a bank and collect personal information from you, so that they can steal your identity.

I reported them to 'do not call' list also, but suspect that they are masking the real number their dialer is calling from.

constant calls for months. was letting it go to machine w/o message. finally answered last night and immediately told them to put us on dnc list. called again tonight and they refuse to talk w/me, only hubby; asked again to be put on list and they said they couldn't. he said it was about the mortgage, a courtesy call from Wells Fargo.

called the number back after receiving calls at least 2x per day for over 2 weeks...they said there was a special offer from Bank of America. They give you an option to be put on do not call list. But I am already on that list so they are in direct violation of policy.

Why do we receive at least 3 hang up calls from this number each week? It's creepy.

Spoke with a Bank of America rep and they said the number was not in their database. The rep filled out a fraud alert form.

hey called me 6 times between Jan 11 and Jan 17 and left no message. Just as I was looking at this page, they called me again. The woman said she was calling for Bank of America, offering a credit monitoring service.

Caller ID says AGI, I answer, a few seconds pass before anyone says anything, then they ask if I am (my name), I say yes and they just hung up.

The woman is calling here too! Won't speak to me only my wife and claims to be from Bank of America, however, the number is saying TN REMOVAL SYS. I think it's a scam since they only want to speak to my wife. When we married we became one so what's the problem? Why not speak to me? I won't bother to answer and neither will my wife if they want us to participate they should send us literature.

Then it asked if I would like to be put on the do not call list and if so enter your phone number. I entered my nimber and it said it may take 30 days to process the request. I hope it works!

Everyday they call even twice a day. You Say hello & 5 seconds a recorded voice comes on telling you to call back,(it's from Bank Of America). The response you get seems voice activated, I listened to this message 1 time so I don't remember exactly what it says. From now on I see the # and just let it sit. You can here clicking in the back ground like their system is confused.

someone has called a ton from this number and it is kinda creep so if anyone knows how to make it stop put it everywhere no one needs some random person or company calling them all the time and how do they get our numbers it is illegal for them to have ours because it is unlisted so there is no legal way for them to get it is there

My caller ID just says Grand Rapids, Michigan. The wife and I have a c/c with Bank of America, but the annoying thing is that they never leave a message. As soon as the machine picks up, the caller hangs up, so you get the dial tone taking up space on the machine blaring at about 100 decibels. I've had calls as late as 8pm during the week, and even calls on Saturdays at 3pm. I'd love to get the home phone #'s of these twits and call them every 15 minutes starting at 11pm. Who's with me?

Also, there's a lot of Identity theft going around with people claiming that they work for Bank of America, when in fact, they do not. So don't forget to follow the basics.... don't give out any info over the phone, don't give ssn's or account info, etc.... you know the drill. If they need to get ahold of me that badly, they can have enough respect to leave a message on the machine. People that run scams never leave a message.

I am getting calls 2 and 3 times a day, every day from these people. Sometimes my ID will say AGI and sometimes it just gives the phone number (616) 980-4030.
I am gettig sick and tired of this, I am disabled and then I get to the phone for this. How can I stop these people from bothering me?

on my caller id it says TN REMOVAL SYS. calls multiple times per day. problem started when i switched to vonage a month ago. i have never spoken to them....no one ever says anything. There has to be a reason why these people are making such calls...the only reasons i could think of is that maybe they want to max out the bandwidth used either by vonage or by my internet provider. i can't think of any other logical reason for them to call. i don't think these calls are our regular annoyance calls....because some people see AGI on their caller id and others see TN REMOVAL SYS....so definitely a company or the same type of system used.

It's the Bank of America.. trying to sell credit monitoring service. If you have a bank of america account you can login and then search for "do not call" where you can fill out the form. (Unknown yet if it works or if it is a waste of time, but maybe it's worth trying)

I also receive frequent phone calls. The one time I answered they said they wanted me to take a survey. I have not answered since that time.

We have received four calls a day for the past two weeks. no message, we do not answer. Have reported them for violation of the do not call list.
