Vinman, it doesn't matter if PASI is working a moldy account from years ago or is assigned accounts fresh from the original creditor. It is a third party collector in every case and therefore subject to state and federal collection practice laws. That means everyone reporting and reading here can control when, how, and where PASI makes contact. They can also raise disputes over their often messy and inaccurate medical billing, and sue for relief if their rights are violated.

After reading the other comments I think it might be a good thing to share my understanding of what PASI is/does. In my situation like many others, it is related to medical bills. However, where I live, PASI is not used as a debt collector on delinquent accounts but more of an outsourcing by the hospital where they turn all the accounts over to PASI and they handle the accounts, collect the money and i presume the hospital is paying for the service.
I do know that I have received legitimate calls from PASI - Professional Account Services but I dont know this number. The last time I tried to call them, the call was answered by some people telling me they would connect me or give me PASIs number after I listened to some sales pitch about something. I listened once, got cut off called back two more times and never got through to PASI.
This is a collection agency for medical bills. I suspect that they are looking for payment on an old ER bill for my husband. He is a senior citizen on disability and has a terminal illness. If he chooses to not discuss his options with this caller, it's HIS choice...it's not my responsibility. They call the home number all the time, but just this morning they started calling my personal cell phone number. Not sure where they got it from, but I have no intention of using my airtime to discuss my husband's business. Not my bill and in the state of Alaska, not my problem.
My husband's cell phone is for emergency use only, so we'll see if they try to tap THAT one.

Continued harrasment by debt collector. tOLD them I wasnt paying. Yet they continue to call. And I continue to not answer.
30% of nothing is what they will earn for their trouble.

Debt Collector. The fools from this number are almost always a drooling, low intelligence, knuckle dragging, rude, overweight, ignorant tools who aren't capable of getting jobs that are meaningful. It would be advised to ignore this number as often as you can as they constantly call looking for the wrong person. Since they are calling for a wrong person; It is however fun to screw with them though; give witty comments and misinformation just till they get mad and then act like you can't hear them when they try to respond to you. ^_^ Have fun!
