These people keep calling me looking for an "Amanda" I have told them there has never been anyone by that name at this phone number. I told him that I already told them that and I said quit calling me. the gentleman on the phone got very rude with me and said that he has never called and they only tried calling a couple of times and maybe it was a different agency calling, I said yeah right all collections call for someone that has never existed here. How do I get these people to quit calling.

Scumbag bitch called my 89 year old dad insinuating she was with the FBI and that they have a warrant for my arrest. I do not lived there for nearly 50 years. Will be reporting this harrassment to the FTC.

let me tell you what these people are doing to these employees to get them to be as harsh as they are. some of the people you are hearing from are calling from the second story of a building that has no air and no windows that open. close to 100 people and 100 computers with no circulation. it is like trying to breath through a thick layer of cotton. they actually tell their employees "if you collect this much you can go home." the employees have trouble breathing and sweat all day long. they smell alone would make most sick. they do give them water. thats like asking for a lung and you handing me a kidney. now days in the ohio area you are luck to even have a job so these people due what it takes to feed their families. you can't fault them for it. yes everyone this is happening right here in the usa.

this is NCO Financial

It's the number for an employee of NCO Financial. They are a debt collection agency, and one of their major contracts is the DPP or Star Card. They call non-stop because they want their money. They ask for your information because they want to verify who they're speaking with. They do not give out the reason they're calling to those other than the individual with the account because they are not allowed to in most states by law. They do not leave messages for a similar reason. When you call the number back and they ask for your SSN on their voicemail, it is because it is most people's account number and more people know their SSN than their account number. When they call you back, they would like to have your information account up in front of them. It is just like when you call your bank and they want your account information so that they "may better assist you."

Caller on this number identified himself as NCO Financial, a collections agency. Reverse lookup shows an unpublished number in Dublin, OH.

They leave a message saying they are a debt collection company.

I've been getting daily calls at night from this phone number, asking about my husband. They wouldn't say what they want and it's kind of scary. I wish they would stop bothering me. I'm on the do not call registry but it doesn't help.

I have been getting these calls for weeks. No one is ever there. Last night there was a person. He was looking for my ex husband. They told me he had me down as a reference. They wouldn't tell me for what. My Ex husband Died in Columbus, Ohio in 2006. It was very unsettling to say the least. Had me wondering if he was still alive. Called me 50-60 times no one on the line. Last time someone asked for a Carlos told him he had wrong number and Said You called me like 100 times HE DOESNT LIVE HERE I DONT KNOW HIM and this is the first time someone was on the line. HE then replied With NO Im showing 50-60 calls placed to this number. in 2 mo.

Same story as above -they've been calling multiple times a day, leave no message or a number which has a recording where they ask you to leave your name and SS#. I don't have any unpaid debts but had a couple mix-ups this spring due to a changed credit card and some automatic billing, all of which has now been fixed. Maybe they get their info just by randomly reading credit reports?

I just called back every # on this page. I am sure they know all these #'s have been given out because they have either changed them or they have made recordings pick up each one. All I can get is a recording wanting my name, ssn and phone #. I gave my name and # that's it. I told them if they continued to call and not leave messages I was going to report them for harassment.

Calls every morning around 8ish and leaves no message. When I call the # back I am on hold for an hour+ and just give up after that. They have no reason for calling me I just got the # a month ago. It's getting really annoying.

These people are calling about defaulted student loans, using the name OSI education Services. They also have people in that building who collection on medical bills, military credit card bills, and past due but not yet defaulted student loans.

When I did a reverse lookup for 614-717-4395, it came back as unlisted, but the city is Dublin, OH which is the same city and state as the YellowPages listing, so I am assuming it's the same people.

This call arrived via my cell phone. The caller from this number did not leave a message. I called the number from another phone and the company name is OSI Educational Services.

OSI, the 2nd largest debt collection agency in the country had recently filed for bankruptcy protection. They couldn't pay their bills, but want you to send them your money! Talk about poetic justice and irony!! I hope the other debt collector/predatory scum gave the OSI owners the same harassment that OSI and their band of collectors have subjected the American consumer to. OSI began closing their branch offices and may not survive. As with all large agencies, they have GREAT difficulty in complying with FDCPA and FCRA requirements. The problem with them is credibility. You can NOT take what they say or report as accurate. They MUST be held accountable for their reporting and collection activities.

Many times the debt are junk debts that can not be collected because they are too old or the debt has already been paid to the originial creditor. You have the right to choose not to deal with any collection organization and make agreements with the orginial creditor. Some organizations, like hospitals, even have programs that will pay off your debt or reduce the debt based on income you can also check with SSI and the state for assistance with medical bills (even recent past medical bills). OSI/Outsouring SOL - This company practice shady and illegal debt collection, don't talk to them, get everything you can in writing, keep a journal of their calls and activties, send them certified letters and fax them at 614-791-4506 to tell them to stop contacting you. This company itself has filed bankruptcy, yet, calls and harrasses individuals, businesses and HR departments trying to get personal information about employeess (which could get the employer sued). This company calls our business wanting information about an employee, we keep telling them we do not supply private information about employeess yet they keep calling. We are going to file a complaint against the with the State's attorney's office and if need to get a restraining order against them. They theaten our employee who is on medical leave by leaving threats with other employees that they are going to sue or ganish their wages. Lets hope Hillary gets elected so she can put an end to these kind of practices.

This is a 3rd party collection agency called OSI Education Services. The callback number 800 735 1998 is for collectors trying to get you to pay off your defaulted Edfund (california Student Aid Commission) student loan

Now they are really ramping up, calling every day a couple of times and they even call my cell.

They no longer leave messages. They used to ask for a Chandra. I only answered once and told them no Chandra here. They stopped for a while and started calling again. But no more messages.

The caller was calling to get a student loan payment.

Constantly harrass my grandparents' by calling from 8 am until 11 pm every day after being asked NOT to call. They are calling for me and I don't even live there. The "business matter" is apparently regarding a student loan which I paid already. They call my grandparents' house but refuse to tell them what the business matter is and refuse to abide by the numerous requests to stop the harassment.

Just a note. Student loans all paid for more than 3 years now. (And on time payments to boot!) So I have no clue what they're after.

Had to google search the name and number to figure out who they are... On my callerID, specifies that the number dialing me is a residential line 614-717-4395 for O Sol. Which means it's a home business? Whoever they are, in this day and age, not identifying yourself promises no return call. Too many wacko calls even if on a do-not-call list! I get calls in spanish... not that I know what they're saying! And I have no outstanding debts requiring a collector!

If the collections agencies have decided high pressure meanness doesn't work... What makes them think placid non information will work in a time where identity theft is rampant? Why not compassion and identification? Just a thought.

Anyhow, if I missed a bill 10 years ago, they'll just have to try it the straight way.

Outsourcing SOL goes by many names but is actually Miller Collection Agency based in Dublin, Ohio. Or at least that's where they call me from. They're also known as OSI Educational Services and I'm assuming they represent the hospital I owe 50 bucks to. They called Friday and I answered the phone saying, "Miller Collection Agency, may I help you?" He said, "Yeah is a TJ Ryan there?" I said, "We're also known as Outsourcing SOL and OSI Educational Services." He said, "Sorry, I must have the wrong number." LOL. They haven't called since, but I'm sure they will under some other phony name. Bring it on!!!

have called repeatedly over the past few weeks and i thought it was a telemarketer, but eventually answered to say quit calling. person began asking questions about my sister and her personal info. when i asked what the questions were in reference to he said that my sister put me as a reference on an educational application. i called my sister and she verified that it was untrue. the man outright lied to me!! do not answer this number and if you do do not give out any info!!

Called at 7:30 am. Said my name and then immediately started asking me to tell them my social security number. Became irate when I refused to disclose personal information. Did verify that they had my name correct but they refused to tell me the nature of this call without my telling them my social. Lawsuit coming if it continues.

They keep calling my house phone and sometimes leave a message for a Joyce but I just anwsered and they asked for my boyfriend but hung up when I asked who was calling.

He called regarding a supposed student loan my husband had and wanted personal information that we refused to give. That is when he got mean. Please do call the FTC and report people like this...

These people call daily and leave messages.My sister had answered and talked to one of the supervisiors who asked my sister what her thing may have been about? She didn't wanna answer but knew it was about a daycare bill.They started going on about 'is it a check'? .. and my sister was like no,its daycare.. then my sister was like 'why,are you representing them',and the lady goes 'Oh you're so smart',and hanged up!

They called and my wife answered and they said they were looking for (so in so)which happens to be my bosses name. They were very vague and hard to understand. These people call at least once a day...if not more. All that comes up on my cell is the number...no company ID. I don't generally answer calls from numbers I do not recognize but have answered a couple of times and gotten no response to my repeated "hello"s. They never leave a message. Threats from the people(women) calling regarding student loan default. I received two phones calls on my cell phone. I only give that number for personal calls, not business. Each call, the personal asked about a student loan. I asked for them to send me a account statement or any documents that pertain to me. Instead of agreeing, they threaten to garishness my pay. Kind of shady. Very rude.

Called for my husband's student loan. Had all personel info they could. Wanted to know our checking account number! Said it was for a Sallie Mae loan.
