How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

I barely use my Discover card so I was curious what the problem would be when I saw what others had written. They actually left a message on the second call about "money-saving opportunities." I'm on the DNCL & as far as I know, my cell # isn't connected to this account.
Call the number back, and ask to be removed from their system. They had the wrong number looking for a Nancy. dummies!
Unknown, but according to other reports it's Discover Card. When your payment is late, they start in.
Unkown... Has called every day (all Hours) for a month. Even Sunday Morning at 0810

They're at already this morning - once at 8:06 and 8:07 - how is that even possible!????!
They are calling our business countless times a day - dead silence, I don't stay on long enough to find out if anyone is on the line. Wish they would stop calling!!!
Continuing to get *frequent* calls from this number, in violation of DNCL rules. Reporting *each* call as a DNCL violation. Hope these scumballs get shut down.

It is Discover Card. I called the number back and it said. Thanks for calling Discover Card, Your call is important to us. Please wait for next available representative". When the girl answered, I just hung up because I have no need to speak to these dimwits. I am on time with my bill and in good standing. They just call trying to sell you a bunch of crap you dont need like that Credit Report thing. heck, you can go online and get it for free in NC. Why the heck would I pay Discover several dollars a month for that? DIMWITS!
The number is from Discover Card but you can not reach anyone at this number. You get a recording saying you reached a non working number, please check the number and dial again.
