How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

Received called from this number, a man asking for a Dr. Thomas. I said this is so and so's office and may I ask who's calling... the man then replied "oh so rude" and hung up.
Have a couple of calls from this number. They always hang up without answering. The FTC should monitor these hangups and fine their A** a big chunk of change.
We get this call at about 9:02 or so every week day. NEver anyojne one the phone. Last week I heard aliek aspeed dial code, buyt it was just Pivate Name Private Number on the phone. Today it had the phone number.
I always stay on the phone as long as possible to run their phone bill up. Probably just costs them a few cents, but they wouldn't call if they lose money. Also, they called a busienss phone. Maybe that's why they don't every say anything.
I live in NE Ohio and have also received calls from this number at least 8 times today. I have not answered it. Figured if they are too good to leave a message then must not be important. Finally decided to reverse lookup and told it is not a valid number. Then found this site.
I picked up the call after two rings; heard touchtones, which leads me to believe that whoever it was didn't want to wait long to see if anybody answered. Note that there can be no exchange beginning with '0' so the Caller ID info is forged.
They;ve called 8 times so far today, no message.
Received call from this number. Man claimed to be with ATT and needed to confirm personal information to correct a billing error. I got suspicious and ended call.
