They've been calling me for months from many different phone numbers asking for someone I don't know who's never lived here. I've had this phone number for 16 years and I've never taken out a car loan from anyone. I've told them numerous times they have the wrong number and to stop calling me but nothing changes.

Three calls in three days. To my work! They leave a bougus message to call about an important matter. Called back and the guy on the phone cannot find my phone number on their computer system. I DO NOT have an account with themj.

Wells Fargo Acceptance is the worst! You can not work with them at all. The continually call me at home, work and my friends. Even after I sent certified letters to the main office and local offices demanding for them to stop calling me at work, home and friends!! I even quoted the Fair Credit Act in my letter!
I finally obtained an attorney today and he sent a cease and desist order--haven't heard anything so far. We will see.

They are in house collection not subject to the fair credit collectins laws. (Becuase they are IN-HOUSE). they can call as much as they want from 8 am to 9 pm. under the fair credit collections laws credit collectors can only call 2 times a day. but they get around the law. They are rude.

They are calling me too. Friday I got 6 calls in one day! The thing is, they are calling from different numbers! But all numbers say Wells Fargo....I will never ever ever use anything that has to do with them. I CAN'T STAND WELLS FARGO!

Wells Fargo calls many times a day, sometimes over 10 times a day. First time they call is sometimes as early as 8:30am and keep calling until as late as 9:30pm. They call even on Sunday's when I'm in church. I tell them to stop calling so many times a day. I've told them that their calling is harrassing and they get very nonprofessional with me. I ask to speak to a Supervisor and usually Supervisor apologies. These people are so annoying. Wells Fargo has so many phone numbers. I have put them in my mobile phone and usually ignore them when they call now. But on my home phone, there is no name on the Caller ID just the phone number. There needs to be a law against so many calls a day. This is harrassment. The Better Business Bureau says that calling 10+times a day is legal. Can there be a way to put a stop to it? Can the government do anything about it. I am on the Do Not Call List. What can be done.

They calle dmy home @ 8:57pm, EST and I have small children. They call all the time and don't leave a message. they call 4-5 times a day!

Call 2006-12-19. Time 6:55 PM EST. Name: Unavailable. I have caller ID. They keep calling me and I don't have an account with them. When told the person they were looking for had moved and Wells Fargo has their number, he continued to be insulting.

This call constantly comes in. Never leaves a message, when answered your told call is being transferred. I have had calls come in as late as 9:45PM and as early as 7:30AM

Recieve the call about once every other day or so. After about 3 - 6 "Please hold..." I hang up. I don't have time for this garbage!

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
  3. Block them with a call blocker:
