Who Called Us

609 318 9785 called me 3 minutes ago. I kept him on the line for 28 minutes and 58 seconds. I would not give my card number to him. We ended up taking about Obama. I told him Obama has an endless line of credit, he did not like it. I have push 3 so many times to be removed from there list, but just keep calling and I keep them on the phone as long as I can. The 28.58 is my new record. Card Services should be put out of business.

It was Rachel from Card Holder Services offering to lower the interest rate on my credit card. With as much publicity that these scammers have been getting it's hard to believe that they can find anyone dumb enough to make this scam profitable. Guess they must be making money or they wouldn't continue calling. Funny I had just read an article on the 880notes site dated 11/01 about FTC filing complaints in Federal Court to halt the operations at 5 companies involved in this scam. Looks like they missed one. OK, next stop the FTC site to file another complaint.

Card Svcs (notice that the second word is not spelled out as reported by others; my caller ID showed it abbreviated) calls me several times each week. They must think I really want to talk with them, but alas! I don't. They did leave a message on my answering machine, and told me to press "3" if I don't want to receive these calls any more. So this time, I pressed "3". We'll see if they are true to form and continue to call me regardless of which number I've pressed! And Diana, you do not get all of these calls; they love calling my house, too!

Didn't answer; no message left! How many of these numbers are out there for Pete sake! I must get them all and I'm NOT answering! GIVE UP!!!!

Yet another "Rachel" caller - SCAM!

Either Rachel or her sister..they are persistent little b******..blocked this number as well as the others and reported them to the DNC registry

Another recorded call from "Rachel," who wants to get my credit card account numbers.

These kind of calls must be stopped--I hope that whatever Schumer is proposing makes them illegal and removes scam numbers immed.

1st msg at 12:46 "unknown number & name"- 2nd call today @ 4:06 "card services"- same msg -I was taking a nap and on do not call list!--so annoying - they call here all the time!GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Tip: Do NOT push a phone # to 'remove yourself from their list'. They won't delete you.
All this does is confirm you're a valid # which they'll sell to other telemarketers.

Tip: If you don't recognize the CID # don't answer the phone! This confirms your
valid # also.

I was on the phone, and this call went into my Voice Mailbox. When I saw that I had a message, here's what I heard (apparently not from the very beginning of their spiel): "... or press the number one on your phone now to speak to a live operator and lower your interest rate. Thank you. Have a great day." My Voice Mail never pressed one on my phone, so my Voice Mail never got to speak to a live operator (ah, too bad, so sad!).

Same shit, different day. "Rachel" from "Card Services" calling to try to get my credit card info. They have called 3 times in the last 18 hours. If I find out where these dickheads live, they WILL go offline!

I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize.

Same message as xxx. Pressed 3 to no longer receive calls.

I continue to get these calls from someone wanting to "help with my credit card debt" I DON'T HAVE ANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I try to talk with a person, and I say what I want, before I get my statement out, they hang up. How do you stop these harrassing calls????

"Hello, this is Rachel with card holder services. There's no problem with your account. It is urgent that you contact us considering your eligibility for lowering your interest rate to as little as 6.9%. Your eligibility expires shortly so please sider this your final notice. Press the #1 to speak with a live operator & lower your interest rate. Thank you & have a great day."

I received calls from this phone number: (509)318-9785 previous times in the past I think they are up to no good.
Please put me on your "Do Not Call" list, if you can.

I intend to report them to their Carrier Service (Peerless Network Of New Jersey, LLC - NJ).

I urge others to do the same.

Got yet another call from 609-318-9785 caller id said card services, always a recording that says press certain number blah blah blah, they are stating that they can lower interest rates on CCards. Always say that this is your "last chance" to get the service. Yet they continue to call weekly. so very annoying have reported to FTC I am unlisted number and on the do not call list, yet continue to get weekly calls from this company.

GRRRR... Tired so tired of all these calls!!

Jayne, you're wasting your anxiety over waiting for a ''beep''. The credit reprice scammers have no intention of stopping the calls, only confirming that your number is a ''live one'' with a real human who may respond.

It comes up on my caller id as credit services. If you call the number back there is a recorded message that tells you it is a telemarketing call. It also gives the the option of being put on the do not call list by pressing 1. The message asks you to put in your number after the beep and they will remove you from their call list within 72 hours. Only problem is there is never a beep!

"There is nothing wrong with your credit card," etc., etc. (In that case stop calling!)
