Get 6 Calls a day...SO ANNOYING...but I am just gonna keep ignoring until it stops ringing. This is not the first time this has happened either, another number did the same thing and eventually gave up.

Call from Marketing Dept offering Visa card

I have been getting calls from this number but they don't leave messages. I financed furniture thru Raymour & Flanigan who used Wells fargo for the credit line. I know that account is in good standing so it's not a courtesy call for any billing issues.
When you call this number back you get a voice automated system that identifies WFB, stating you may have received a call about a sales offer. ( They don't say what it is...guessing by other reviews it's a credit card.) Then they tell you if you're calling about the sales offer...to press an option that I don't remember, and said if you calling for any other reason to hold the line. I do agree they call you frequently.

Make sure to check your credit reports! I applied for a Raymour & Flanigan card - financed through Wells Fargo. I decided to close the order. A couple of weeks later I received multiple calls from a 605#. Tonight I answered and it was a wells fargo financial rep. The rep said she was calling me the thank me for my business with raymour and flanigan and to let me know that I was pre-approved for a line of credit. I told her I did not authorize a line of credit and the raymour and flanian account is closed. Repeatedly she kept telling that it is approved and she needed to verify my information. I told her that I was not going to do that b/c I did not authorize the line of credit. Very sarcastically she said "OH WELL!' and hung up.

I am pulling my credit report to see what they reported and to make sure the R&F account is closed. I suggest you all do the same if your getting these calls!

they call me several times a day, but i am never home. no messages ever. i do have a card with a furniture company that is a wells fargo account. however it is always in good standings. no reason for them to call me.

Got my first call from this number today. When I answered, they hung up. I read on other sites it has something to do with a furniture credit card. A few months ago I got a Raymour & Flannigan store credit card but I have never used it. I am on the do not call list so they better knock it off or I'm reporting them. I have an unlisted number and I'm not going to put up with this crap!!

I wouldn't do business with them if they paid me to! If they can't treat people with respect when they are trying to get them as customers - how do they treat their customers?!?!?!

I got called twice from this number on 4-09-08. I didn't answer either call, and they did not leave a message. I do have an account with Wells Fargo (a Mattress Discounters credit card). I suspect they are just calling to try to talk me into additional services.

There are mixed messages about this number being legit. Can any of you verify where you got your information from? ie. the phone number you called or the name of the entity you spoke with? One website I searched showed this number indeed being from Sioux Falls but as a residential number. reversephonedirectory.com Enter the number in the reverse phone search field and click instant lookup...

Got a call from this #. When I heard a click, I hung up.

I called the main bank and they said this number IS affiliated with Wells Fargo. Just tell them to take you off the list.

this number has called me twice this week so far on my cell phone. i have an auto loan through Wells Fargo but i've had it for almost 2 years now and never received these calls before...i'm pretty convinced it's fraud based on what a lot of other people have said. if they call again i'm gonna answer and tell them to remove me from their list, and of course refuse to give them my dob and social if they ask for it. be careful kids, don't get your identity stolen!

Please take this advice seriously. If you would like the calls to stop, you should politely answer the phone and take 2 minutes to speak with the representative. He or she will be very nice and take you off of the call list if you ask them to. If you continue to hang up or not answer the phone, the calls will keep coming.

I got a call from this number (605.782.5252) ...after many hang ups from them I finally answered. They wanted to thank me for opening an acc. with them, which I had done recently and verify some info.

They have called me 5 times in the past 2 days. I answered once and Wells Fargo wants me to get a credit card. I told them I was not interested but they still keep calling. They call at all hours of the day and night and it is my cell phone they call. Not fair. I wish it would stop!

I answered man asked for my wife, acted like he was a friend of her's very rude and I told him so Wells Fargo has gone down hill having people working like that for them...

605-782-5252 this number continues to call me every other week. I have no previous business with them or any firm they're affiliated with.

They wanted to verify information, including security questions, to offer a credit card supposedly w/o running a credit report. Not sure if it's legit and declined to answer, especially since it was X-mas eve.

this number calls my office every day at work. when i answer, it just hangs up without anyone speaking to me.

I received a call at 6:03pm. I dont answer #s I dont know. When I called it back in the morning, this is what the recording said:
"Thank you for calling Wells Fargo Financial Bank on 4th Avenue in Souix Falls South Dakoda at 605-782-5252.
You may have been contacted in regards to a recent sales offer. Please stay on the line and . . . . . . blah blah blah."
Was on hold for 30 sec and a recording came on saying my estimated hold time was 5 - 10 minutes. I hung up!

Tried to get personal information from me for a line of credit (for them). I hung up and called wells fargo (not the number this guy provided, it is FRAUD also). Wells Fargo said that this was NOT a call from them and they will NEVER call you and ask for personal information over the phone. This crap needs to be stopped.

I have been repeatedly getting calls from this number from a Kevin or whoever trying to force me into accpeting a platinum credit card from Wells Fargo Financial. I have repeatedly declined and ask that my name be taken off their list and put me on their do not call list. The person at WFNB making these calls does so at very inopportune times and is very aggressive and beligerant. I have filed a fraud alert with the State Attorney Generals Office and also thorugh this forum.

This number showed up on my cell phone. I didn't answer it because I didn't recognize the number. Who ever called never left a message.

Never leaves message & hangs up when we answer. Called the # today & spoke to Peter - he said he would take our # off their list so they won't call anymore. I told him we are already on the DO NOT CALL list - he said we may have requested a loan or financial info from Wells Fargo so we are considered a "customer" and that's why they are calling. Told him I don't care, I consider it harassment to receive constant phone calls where no message is left and/or person (or machine) hangs up when we answer & to take our number off their "list". I will also send an email to Wells Fargo - and will not finance anything with this bank in the future - very annoying!!

I have gotten repeated calls from this number and the ID only says 'South Dakota'. Sometimes there is a message but no one says anything - it's just background noise.

Calls all the time answered once hung up when i started asking questions!

I am getting tired of telling them to quit calling me. What good is the do not call register if it dosen't work? These people will call several times during the day and late into the evening.

They have called me numerous times and I am getting tired of it. Not too mention they have called me after 8pm and never leave a message. It's bad enough when i get my local branch calling me trying offer me loans that I don't want, I don't need theses guys to be calling me as well. PLEASE STOP CALLING ME!!!

I keep getting calls from this number, but when I answer no one is there or they ask from my hubby.

I have complained before but, it does no good. They call several times a day and late at night. I just wish they would go away. So annoying. I do not answer when I know it is them. I just quickly pick up the phone and hang up on them.

When asked who is calling they just hang up. I did talk with someone from Wells Fargo and told them not to call again. It didn't work...they still call.

Definitely Wells Fargo. If you already have an acct with them, they can call (even if you're on the DNC list). I was able to opt out by going to financial.wellsfargo.com

this was wells fargo thanking me for having a car loan with them and then trying to get me to take them up on a credit card.

I have been receiving call for the last two months, even after I told them that I did not want to be called again the first time I answered. I finally answered again today and the guy said they needed to verify information. He tried to get me to give my DOB and SOC #, and when I told him they should already have it and I wouldn't give it over the phone, he hung up without saying anything else. Can you say "Fraud".

They call every other hour all day 7 days a week. Please stop.

Caller expected the answering machine to have a conversation, apparently.

This person insisted that i give her my social security number. i refused and she identified my last 4 numbers and wanted me to verify. she asked if the first 2 numbers added up to 8. I told her that I did not give out my social over the phone. she was "verifying" employment. and got my work number before I realized something was WRONG! Told her I did not want them calling me at work....We are on the National Do Not Call Registry. I thought that would have taken care of these kind of calls. guess I was wrong!

we repeatedly get calls from this number and no message left on the answering machine. when I answer and they want someone who is unavailable then they don't leave any information they just hang up. this may happen up to several times a day, almost everyday and every week for about 3 weeks now

We have recveived numerous calls from this number, never anybody there when we pick up the phone. We caleld back an got Wells Fargo in South Dakotah.

We get a call from them every time we renew our account with them. I think it is nice to have a personal touch to business, it shows they care. They haven't tried to sell us anything just thanked us for our business. They only call one time every time we renew...so I say if you don't want to talk to them don't answer it.

They call us upwards of 3-4 x a day. I answered once they asked for my husband and I said he wasn't home and asked to take a message, no message. I realize if you have business with a company they are able to call you but they need to change that law to it has to be something RELATED to that account! This is rediculous they constantly interrupt our day.

I have received 24 calls from this number in the last 15 days. I never answer, just let it go into voicemail. This must stop.

I have been getting called from 605-782-5252 sometimes twice a day. Once they left a message saying, "please call Edwin back at extension xxxx about your recent mortgage payment" I have my mortgage with Wells Fargo, so I called them and asked them about it. They told me that Wells Fargo Financial is an affiliate of Wells Fargo. I called this man back and told him we were not interested in refinancing and to take our name off their call list. This was over 2 weeks ago and the calls are still coming. Today I received 2 more. This is getting to the point of harassment.

My house got called by this number yesterday 6/4/07 and today 6/5/07. When we answer the phone no one is there. It is quite annoying.

The dialer called my home at 8:33 PM (CST) on Tuesday, May 29. I responded, "Hello" twice and as I hung up, I heard a voice in the background say "Hello" back to me.

They did not call me back. That's good since it woke up my one year old, which made me angry. The good thing is that I discovered Who Called Us.

i never answer it,because they never leave a message or state who they are tryin to reach or why.It's always a recording saying wait for the next available representative. then you hear a real person say hello, hello . then hang up .

I have a Wells Fargo account and I received a call from this number. I called the phone number that I always use and ask them to verify the 5252 number and they did. It is a Wells Fargo office that does online card offers. So, don't panic, it is Wells Fargo Financial.

I got the call last night. It is Wells Fargo trying to sell you a credit card with 24% interest. They don't take no very well!

We get calls all hours of the day and night from this number, one time they ask for me, the other time they ask for my wife, we have never answered and will not. since it looks like its Wells Fargo, I am planning on calling the local office and filing a complaint or see how high up I can go to contact someone.

This is a "real" Wells Fargo extension. They are making Visa credit card offers.

Call received on 03/28/07 at 8:06 pm CST. The caller ID displayed "UNKNOWN NAME". When I answered after about 2 rings, and said "hello" a few times, they hung up.

After thinking about it, I called Wells Fargo and told them what is going on. They said that 605-782-5252 is not a real number in their list. So DO NOT even answer your phone if you see this come up on your caller id.

I received numerous calls from 605-782-5252, but they never leave a message. The calls come day/night and weekends. Finally, I called the number back and a recording notified me that it is from Wells Fargo Sales with a sales offer. Even though the calls are annoying, at least the company has the decency to supply a recording so that a person can easily find out who it is.

Last night they called and I answered. They asked for my husband and I polity asked Amber to remove our number from their list. She was very nice and said she would, but it could take 3-4 days and we might be on other lists she doesn't have access to. Their was no call this morning. Make sure that you say something when you pick up the phone, their is a computer involved. Still trying to figure out if this really is Wells Fargo.

I have received at least two sometimes three calls a day from this number for three weeks. I just called it back and they claim to be Wells Fargo. We had a retail credit card with them that has been paid off. I read the review and wonder if this is really them. I just want the calls to stop!!!

i found the real number to the wells fargo bank it is 605-336-3933, the other number is a phoney. they actualy started a credit card under my name,but i caught it before they mailed out the card. be careful so get online and got to the FTC web site and report id theft just to be safe, that way the bank has to call you in order to start a line of credit.

I've received several calls from this number over the past several days. My answering machine picks up because I rarely answer my land line. Everyone who knows me, uses my cell number. I got curious who was calling and leaving no messages so I *69'd the number. I do have a LOC with Wells Fargo, but this constant calling is annoying. Next time it rings, I will pick up and let em have a piece of my mind. Enough is enough.

I was called from this number at 7:30PM; when I answered, a young woman was giggling, and saying, "I got it." When I said "hello," the woman asked for "Mary;" when I said I was Mary, she hung up. I have a car loan with Wells Fargo. Never missed a payment, but they continue to call. I have rec'd mailings offering me another loan, which I don't need. I continue to ignore them. they just called and they started goig thru the spill about the visa card offer, he told me my DOB and the first five of my ssn and since i would not give him my last four he told me what they added up to.

I got a call from this number on Wednesday, Feb 7, 2007 at 7:09PM PST. They had a Visa card to offer me from Wells Fargo since I had a store credit card. He went through the verification of Name, Address, Employer and so on. He started to ask for my birthday and such and I asked him to verify my account number I held with the store credit card since I didn't feel comfortable giving out any more personal info. He could not verify that but told me that I had a card at other stores and he listed them off. I told him anyone can pull that info off the internet. Then he told me I had vehicle financing for a new car. I told him that was not correct and I an ending this call. He got really defensive and said you have a.... and I told him I was ending this call and hung up on him.

I just received a call. It is Wells Fargo, I opened a personal line of credit through a local branch and they wanted to send me a credit card. Asked for DOB and last four of the social, it's when they ask for all it that you should be suspicious.

actually the last four of your SSN are not the most important. those are the numbers given on a statement with the first 5 x'd out. so technically they are not the most important.

They called me. It's Wells Fargo Financial, wanting to send me out a Platinum Visa. They wanted me to give them my DOB and last 4 of my social. I said, "Um, no... the last four are the important ones, hello!" He said if I didn't, there was no way they could send me the card. I said, "Well, then, keep it!"

if you want them to stop calling you, answer the phone. if not, enjoy getting phone calls three times a day. if you just hang up on them, they will call back.

they call until you answer the phone. they dial on an automated dialer and will continue to call until you answer the phone. there is also a delay so that is why you hang up or they hang up on you. cant call back at the same number because its an automated dialer. no one will answer.

I received a call from them at 8:36 pm. The caller ID said Unknown Name. My kids were already asleep and they could've easily woke them up. Since we are on the National Do Not Call List, I am angry about the call. Thank you for all you do!

My phone is new to me, unlisted, and used for business at night, sometimes during the day. Sure don't need this thing ringing. I'm not answering it. 1:24 PM CT

my friend got called a few minutes ago... when stated she wasnt available the man hung up with out leaving a message seemed suspisious so i'm looking up what i can find for her...

They asked for my husband and when I said he wasn't in and asked to take a message they said - "no message ma'am" and hung up.

I got called today (8/24/06) from this number. The caller ID showed 605-782-5252. The person asked to speak to me, but I was unavailable and when asked who was calling, they promptly hung up.

I got called by this number tonight (8/23/2006)at 8:54 pm. The callerID said "Unknown Name." Thank you for handling this problem.
