I got a call from this number today saying I was a valuable customer and that they were giving me a free vacation, and to press 1 for more info.
I didn't realize it was coming from 603 area code when I picked up the phone so I pressed 1 and it started to ring. I hung up after a few rings because I figured it was a scam. They didn't even say what company they were calling from.
Don't give them any info if they call you.
They called my husband's pay and talk cell phone number. It costs each time someone calls. He didn't appreciate it very much. The recording said he was a valued customer and had won a holiday? What a waste of money. Hopefully they won't call too often. Telemarketers are a pain!
i missed a call a wanted to know what it was from so thanks
If you speak with their agent start asking for their personal information: SS#, date of birth, home address and phone number, and names and ages of their spouse and children, even ask for their cell phone #, and email. Let them feel uncomfortable. Maybe even ask where they bank and if they have Paypal, facebook, myspace accounts...
I am called from this company several times a day, I continuously tell them to stop calling and they continue to call. Today when the guy came on the phone he asked if he could have my vehicle's make and model and I told him NO that I wanted them to stop calling my house. He then said, "I didn't ask if you wanted to give it to me, I said I need it." Needless to say I was very angry and am now trying to find out who this company is and get in touch with their management or the law enforcement in their area to report them.
A robo-call admonishing me to update my auto warranty before it expires. Pressed "1" to talk with an agent, agent hung up before getting to the end of the "please verify the year (make and model of your car)"
I recieve several calls per week from this number and other numbers, with a recording, wanting to update my auto warranty. When I've talked to a person I told them I am on the Do Not Call Registry and asked to be removed from their list yet they still keep on calling. I am going to report
them to the FCC and Attorney General.
Something about the warranty on my car being expired, and offering to renew it. I pressed 1 to talk to a representative, and the guy asked for the year, make, and model of my car. I said "No, please remove me from your calling list" - as soon as I said "No" he said "Thank you goodbye" so I bet he'll claim I never requested to be removed.
Got five calls from them yesterday. After another call this morning I pressed one and was asked what my auto make & model was. I said "you should already know it." I continued by saying I realize this is just your job, but resent all the calls and I want to be removed from your call list. However, I don't know how much he (Matt) heard because he hung up on me.
Automated call wanting to "update" my auto warrantee.
Another call trying to update the warranty on your car...
To call this back connects you to an automated message with directions on how to remove yourself from their calling list, but who knows if that actually removes you. This is a spam call.
