Who Called Us

It was an automated call identifying itself as a company called "Data Research" and asking yes/no questions about pets.

As I suspected, Verizon says they "unable to regulate how phone service is used" by any of their customers. They gave me a list of things you could do, but it doesn't look like any would work. I did put in a complaint to donotcall.gov but if this idiot is considered a "political organization" he has the right to call us. Not fair, but I guess we're stuck. I don't plan to spend any money calling this idiot's home cuz others appeared to have called and it doesn't seem to matter. ggrrr...

Whu not just start calling this Joe Fulton guy every five minutes with a "survey".

They just keep on calling..No messages left.

I don't answer it. They leave a message that they are taking a survey and will call later.

I did a reverse lookup and found this is a land line # from Braddock VA, carried by Verizon. I just sent verizon an email referring to this website and asked them to stop this phone number. I'll let you know if I hear anything -- or if I don't.

Violaton of the "National Do Not Call Registry" policy as they are masking the real intentions of the call by stating it's a survey. Please report them here: donotcall.gov click file a complaint. If enough of us file it will be all over for them. Good luck!!

CallerID reported FEDR on the line. After reading all this I'm glad we ignored it. I HATE election time!!! Isn't it enough to sit through the mindless political TV ads?

Usually they call with political messages. Today they said they were doing a "pet survey" and asked if we owned a dog, and our ages. Weird.

FEDR shows up on my caller ID from the number above. We receive calls from these people 3 to 5 times a day.

If this turns out to be a political survey, I'm going to tell them *exactly* what I think. ;-P

They've called 3X in the last few days, Thu 9/14, Fri 9/15, & today 9/18. Reverse lookup said Land Line in Braddock, VA. No answer when I call them, and the numbers 571-522: 1500, 1574, & 1576 are not happening, so my guess is it's some wanker's PC just scrolling through numbers in order. The "anon" post who gave the link to a Joe Fuiten from Bothell gets 3 Big Thumbs Up, since Fuiten's bio gave the name of the sponsoring organization The Committee For Religious Freedom. Fuiten's church phone # is 425-488-3600. If you're upset, don't call & scream at the nice girl who answers the phone. Likewise, when you call his home #, 425-486-5245, don't yell at the nice lady who answers, just tell her we all hate unsolicited calls, & explain Karma to her. Now I'm gonna give Comcast a call & see about how to block numbers

They call my home typically 5+ times per day, and I have several others that call numerous times each day too. Thank heavens for caller ID. Unless we recognize the caller, we don't answer the phone.

My phone has rung 3x today and all are from Unknown Name. My phone # is Unlisted . I agree that they do not leave a message-people I too ignore. Why is it my number is Unlisted-but yet they keep calling.

I was pissed like everyone else about this and actually called the Groen campaign to complain. I got a voicemail back saying that they weren't responsible and that someone was attempting to sabotage their campaign. Is it true? I don't know, but the original call was so nasty that I'm tempted to believe it.

Called today with a bogus recorded survey but went on to trash the democrat (Baron Hill) running against incumbant representative Mike Sodrel in Indiana. How low with the GOP go??

Keep calling with no message. Call id said unknown. Seems like the no call list should do something about this.

I've had several family members receive the same call.

I haven't answered their calls, they are now calling twice a day (morning and evening) and not left any message. It annoys me to death that political polls and campaign calls are exempt from the do not call list. I don't want to talk to them any more than I do some telemarketer.

This number has come up three times on caller ID. The second time it came up it said name unavailable, the other two times it said FEDR. The most recent call came in this AM, 9/12 at 9:50 AM at 9:50...no message...line busy when I rty to call back. We are registered with the do not call list

They called twice today on 9/7/06. All it said on my caller ID was FEDR.

They're calling people in northern West Virginia with negative "survey questions" about Rep. Alam Mollohan.

This was a blatent push poll "survay". When it didn't get the answers it wanted, it went on to warn me about the bad decision I had made and threatened to send info that would change my mind. Definitely related to the jerks at 5715226400

BS political poll

They call several times a day and I never answer it because it doesn't show a name or even say "unavailable".

This push poll was used to prejudice voters against the Democratic candidate for Congress in Iowa, Leonard Boswell.

This was the most skewed and unscientific poll I've ever had. Surveys should never ask questions and refer to anything as "unfair". What a crock!!
