Received a voicemail from them yesterday that resembled what "Me" described below. Several minutes of what sounded like a lion growling, etc. Very weird and scary. Received a second call today and the only words on the voicemail was their repeatedly calling my son by his first name. Again very troubling. Both calls occured between 4:00 PM and 4:30 PM EST. I am going to be home tomorrow at that time and hopefully they will call again and I can challenge them. I also plan to record and save these two prior calls to use with any compliants I choose to file.
I answered and they hung up. First time they ever called at my number. HSBC CUST SERVE appeared on phone display.
I don't see my comments, so will do again. I report them each and every time. The one time I did pick up to blast them, there is just a dial tone. I say on my voice mail that I am on the do not call list and for them to leave their name and number so I can report them to FTC . I still get a couple a day, different area codes, some 571 some 616 and 201 and 240. Are they out of country?
These people call all day long. It is a recording every time they call my house. They called about 15 minutes ago and I went through the whole spiel. The guy was a recorded voice. They just now called back again. When I said is this a real person they said yes. Then started going through the recording again. Then I said are you fu**ing seriuos and it said no and then asked if I was still on the line. When I said that I wanted to talk to a REAL fu**ing person it said "I'm scared." Really freaky if you ask me. I closed one account yesterday and one today. They jumped my interest rate from 9.9% to 30%. If you have an Orchard Bank card then you better check it.
Received a call from this number last evening. Sat through approximately 1 and a halb minutes of intelligible noises (like a voice being disguised) along with barking dogs. Someone there is really, really sick. This has happened to other people if you go to 800noted.com. Very scary. This person needs to be stopped and punished for these insane antics.
When answered, said they were HSBC. When asked if this was **** said yes, then the caller said in a comical voice, "how all is going well." The laughed using a funny voice. If this is a business marketing call, the caller was very unprofessional. Said wasn't interested and hung up. Called HSBC and asked if they were making such calls. The customer service assistant said that they're calls are make from out of the country. Outsourced. Told her the caller was very unprofessional. The customer service attentant said that HSBC has so many numbers it was hard to find the number. She said that the caller was probably trying to market one of their programs.
Another HSBC marketing number, I think. They have been calling for about a month now, asking for my husband by his first name. He has an Orchard Bank card, perhaps that is why? When I ask if I can take a message, the guy just says it is not important and he will call back. Which he does.
Caller ID says from HSBC, but caller asks for my wife by name. She has two Orchard Bank cards which are owned by HSBC. Will Not leave message. Am up to date on payments so it must be a marketing call.
This is the telemarketing line from HSBC. If you call it back there's an option for you to opt out of the their calls.
This call just came in. The caller asked for me by name, and when I identified myself, he just said, "Thank you very much" and hung up.
How immature and how annoying.
