Been going on for over a YEAR now.. never leave a message. Kami and Robert or Rob and Kami. Two diff numbers VERY annoying

Note that apparently this same marketing ploy is being used under an entirely different phone number and caller ID name, as well: reference phone number 410-774-8235 on this site, and you will discover that caller ID is listed (magically) as "ROB AND KAMI"---with many of the same experiences, reported. They have two phone numbers coming up, folks. How completely irritating!

I DIDN'T ANSWER THE PHONE, I LET THE MACHINE GET IT. THEY DIDN'T LEAVE A MESSAGE.

Consumers pay for calls and text messages received on their cell phones. More than ever, consumers are being harassed on their cell phones by telemarketers and businesses trying to sell goods or services. Unfortunately, these calls and text messages result in charges or a reduction in the consumers

They keep calling on my cell phone, but never leave a message. I never bother to pick it up since I recognize the number now.

Received a call from Grand Rapids, MI a few days ago, left message saying that my extended warrenty on my car was about to expire. I have no car on warrenty. Called number back, got a recording press 1 to continue warrenty or 2 for no call list, pressed 2 and entered phone#. Now I get calls from Kami and Robert, 571-283-6422. Odd that one of the groups conected with this number is from Grand Rapids, MI!!

A female Called my cell phone and asked for my husband by his name. She seemed to assume that I was him & refered to me as Jaime. I requested her identity but,she would not respond. That's about the time when I blew my top!!! I basically told her that I was his wife & why the hell was she calling my husband!!!!" She hung up rather quickly when I started calling her some unpleasant names !

I called back to this number several times to no avail.

Another annoying call. I'm suddenly getting calls from all sorts of area codes...What gives? I don't answer numbers I don't know.

This weird call comes from a computer and it only calls my cell phone! How the hell did they get this number?!?!

Same as reported below--asked for lady of the house. I kept them on the phone as long as possible even having them hold while I did some things around the house. I figure the longer I can keep these types of calls going the fewer people they will be able to call during a day. If you don't have time to deal with them try this one. When you get the call and figure out after the first few seconds it's a telemarketer ask them if they can hold on for a minute because your doorbell just rang. Then just set the phone down and go about your business. Hang up 10 minutes later. Hey, it's five or ten minutes of fewer calls they'll be able to get to.

kami and robert was on my caller id today. no message was left. i do not pick up calls that i do not recognize.

I'm sure glad I don't live in the US. These telemarketers are scum (of the lowest order). Now if these people are the Dove Foundation as seems to be the case, then remember that each offense will attract a $2000 fine. Refer ago.mo.gov (announced in August of *2006*)

Of course, you could also sue them as a civil procedure. Now that they are not using a toll free number, telebombing is futile. If one was criminally minded, one might even consider a DOS attack on their website

I picked up this called Sat morning around 10 am.
I said hello, and after an initial pause, female voice answered hello (it didn't sound like a recording)

"This is Cami, may I speak to the lady of the house?"
I responded politely: "Hi Cami, Would you please remove my from the call list?"
"Sure, no problem, we will put you on the do not call list."
"Thank you, Cami."

Did not get to the actual 'pitch' so I cannot report who-what-where, but will monitor if they call back.

Got this call today 11-15-07. Wanted to speak to my wife. Not sure how they got my cell phone number. Scary part is they asked for my wife by name. Mentioned something about films. I was too pissed that they were bothering me to get any information. Said they will call back. Fortunately caller id will give me the heads up. Who knows how to get this stopped?

I have recvd. several calls from this # never answered. Caller ID unknown.

just called the # back today (10/29/07) and I got a recording stating that the "# is being checked for trouble"

Call comes in,sounded like a recording but when I wondered aloud if it were the voice sd "do I really sound that bad?". The female voice asked if the "lady of the house was available. When told she wasn't I was asked if there children lived N the home & told her no. She sd she call back, told her not 2 & she agreed.

Got a call yesterday from Kami and Robert. It was a recorded message asking for the lady of the house. I hung up but then waited until nearly midnight to call "Kami" back, just for kicks. She answered, "hello." I excitedly said, "Hi there! You have been selected to be in a drawing for a brand new TV! All you have to do is answer a few questions for me...what kind of cereal do you buy?" She was so irritated and she said, "I don't want a TV and I don't want to answer your questions." so I said, "Oh, come on Kami! Or maybe Robert would rather answer my questions? It'll only take about 20 minutes and I doubt you were doing anything important anyway, now next question!" and she said, "I'm hanging up now!" and so she did. HA! The whole family got a kick out of it and I certainly felt satisfied. I doubt Kami and Robert will be calling me again. If they do, you can be sure this time my return call will be closer to 2 am instead.

a computer lady asked for me by name, and then identified herself as being "Kami" from the american family film institute or something like that.

Received call from this number, my caller ID said "Mortgage Services". I googled and found this sight. Thanks for all the info. I am going to report them on the governments DO NOT CALL list.

Recieved a call from this number on my cel phone. I missed the call and have a home based business and get calls from customers all over the place so I returned the call thinking it might have been a customer. A woman answered "customer Service" I asked customer service for whom. She asked well do you have 20 seconds for me to explain? I said sure. She told me about the film rating stuff I told her this is my cell phone and I use it for business and not telemarketing and to please remove my number from their calling list she said she would. I guess now it is wait and see.

Got a call asked my daughter for me by name said they were from some kids film school. I have only had my phone number for 5 days so I called Verizon who said it sounds like the people who scan directory lists for new numbers. If your phone is listed they'll get ya. I immediately ordered call intercept so I could block their number.

This is the Dove Corporation. They call from different names and #. They have been sued by the in there home state before and lost but this hasn't stopped them. Google them..On this site from other # they have called from others have listed the president, vice pres, director and treasures home address and personal phone #, I suggest calling them 10 times a day. This info is also listed on the Secretary of State website in the state there head corders are at. It is public info..

I did not answer the phone as we did not recognize the number and do not know anyone named Kami and Robert.

I received a call and listned to their pitch. It's a film company called Films for Family... ultimately they want to know what you think about "wholesome" films and then try and sell them to you. You can check it out at familytv.com

I had 2 or 3 messages on my answering machine, and the caller ID said "kami and robert".

the first message asked for me by my full name - which is interesting because my phone is not in my own name and i rarely use my home# when asked for a ph#. a woman's voice said, "hello, may i speak to christine *** please?" then said, "hello? hello?" and hung up.

someone who posted on a site similar to this one said they tracked the number back to familytv.com a complany that produces and sells "family values" films.

Got same call tonight, I was a softy and answered the questions without realising it was a fake voice (!). After hanging up I instantly felt uncomfortable having someone call back. So I Googled the number and found several sites with the same queries and concerns. I then called the number myself to see what would happen. A lady answered saying "hello", I kept my mouth shut, after a short pause she said "okay that's great' and kept on talking, pausing after each question, I still kept quiet, she still replied with "okay that's great", etc., etc....When she/it was done I remained on the line to see what would happen, she came back and said "hello?hello?did i lose you?" and then shortly after the phone clicked off.
Weird but an eye-opener indeed !

Saw the number on my call ID. I added it to my call screen list, which is a service that blocks calls.

Why did this company change there name from "Dove" to" Kami and Robert"?
Why are they asking if there are childern in the house? Sounds like a preverted scam to me .A Company with a good name will not change there name and phone number.

Called me while I was out of town. So, I called them back and got a live speaker of customer service; asked how they got my DO NOT CALL LIST phone number (rather loudly and rude). Asked them not to call me and take my phone number off their list.

I got a call from this number 3 times today alone. Needless to say, I registed on the National "DO Not Call" list today! I'd advise everyone to do this. You register and are on the list for 5 years!! Wonderful service. There is a State No Call List in most states also!!

A Virginia number keeps dialling our number in Canada. Rings once, then stops. Really so annoying that I'd like to send a nasty note to them! Finally phoned and receptionist said that they are a film company surveying types of entertainment. Claimed that they are concerned about the types of movies that children see. I told them to put my number on a DO NOT CALL LIST. We'll see!

This same group has been calling under a different number...the female identifies herself as Kami...and from the other number (which I really can't remember but is also listed on this site) the calls were always about being against gay and lesbian ppl, and I believe it was mentioned specifically in film. They never left a message from whichever number they have called me from.

I am a 14 year old female and this person called, and asked for my mom. They used her full name and what not. I said she wasnt arround and they asked if there were any children in the house under the age of 16, I replied with a yes and she said she would call back.

I was wondering who is calling me 8:00 am in the morning by the time, I ran to the phone the answering machine picked up and they hung up.

So I googled this number and found this site, I'm glad I didn't talked to this person.

I usually screen my calls, I don't have caller id but I figured anyone who is calling this early must be family or friends. I guess wrong

I've got the best one. I didn't answer the call, they left a message. Caller was a young girl from the Gay and Lesbian United Club calling to tell me that my 12 year old daughter (who they mentioned by her first name and my boyfriends last name) signed up to the club stating that she has a partner and wishes to adopt a baby. Went on to explain how they want to ensure gay marriage laws are in place and please call back as being gay is not a sin.
Called the number left to inquire about where they got the number and an answering service answered for a cemetary chapel.
When I called the number back on the phone I got the auto bot who asked if I had any kids who are between the ages of 6 and 16 who are interested in feature films. Not likely but thanks anyways, I hung up.

The phone rang me up out of a nap. I ran to the caller ID to see who it was, and saw "KAMI AND ROBERT" and let the answering machine get it. Just before the beep, I thought I heard a voice, but then the beep occurred and 'it' hung up.

They call me everyday. I don't answer long distance numbers. The answering machine picked it up. The person always asks for the lady of the house. I finally googled the number and found this site.

Cammy called and asked leading questions about the content of movies being less and less suitable for family viewing. I responded with complete apathy. She then asked me if I could be contacted further and I responded with a "No!". She then thanked me and ended the call. Whatever this was, I don't really care, as I told her in response to her leading questions.

I have two phone numbers, one with Caller ID, the other monitored with an answering machine. The caller ID phone gives the number, unknown name, the answering machine one is either dialed before or immediately after. The voice Id's herself as Tammy & asks to speak to the lady of the house twice then hangs up.

"Cami" asked to speak to the lady of the house. This is an automated system. There is no live person talking. The previous call from DOVE showed 1-800-679-0336. I guess too many people were calling back on the toll free number to complain that it was starting to cost them money, so they switched to this number. This is a scam to sell movies using a non-profit front company to get around the do not call registry.

Asked to speak to the lady of the house, I said this is her (in a manly voice of course). The autodialer bot continued to troll on its spiel.

Waited a bit, then asked if I could stick my penis in its ear. The autodialer did not appreciate this, and said "ok thank you!" and then hung up on me.

Related to "Dove" SPAM by the sounds of it (some movie ratings bullshit, trying to get all movie ratings changed in hollywood).
