How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

Female voice recorded messesage said "Not to be alarmed." (I'm not alarmed, just ready to rip her head off if she doesn't stop calling.) "This is the last chance to lower my interest rates" Scam call. They use to call every day forever a while back but I haven't received the call for awhile. Guess they are back. Wish someone could get them to stop.
It calls all the time as well. I told the lady on the phone: "By staying on the line, you agree to have your phone number charged for this call at the rate of $100 for the first three minutes and $25 for each additional minute thereafter. Furthermore, your number has been recorded in our database, and all future calls from your number will be considered an implicit acceptance of the charges stated, and your number will be immediately billed at the rates mentioned. If you do not wish to be billed for this call, please hang up now."
Call is actually from international code 011. Full number was 011-562-288-7168. Some female dot-head asking for someone I've never heard of, then she goes into her spiel about this being a 'debt consolidation' program.
I told her I had great credit & no financial issues...didn't deter her she just kept on talking. I had to talk over her & told her I wasn't interested & to stop calling me.
I'm sure they will continue to call- especially since it's an international number & not governed my any of our laws...SCAMMERS SUCK!!
Phone rang at around 10:30 am. I answered it because the caller ID said "cellular call" even though it was from out of state. A person asked me how I was doing. I immediately told him I wasn't interested, please take my name and number off his list. He persisted in asking me "Don't you want to save your hard earned money?" I said, "No, I don't. Take my name and number off your list" That still wasn't enough...he was still persistent. I told him once again to take my name and number off. He said "I'll try". And I hung up. I will be sending this number to the State Attorney General's office.
