- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

SCAM - Identity Theft: Call Mount Solon,VA police dept. on this idiot. I've already started the ball rolling on a possible investigation into this morons feeble attempt to scam information out of you. No car warranty company ever asks you for SS number and a credit card number. USE CAUTION and call MSPD (VA).
I just received 2 calls today one from John or Louise Mckelfresh 239-489-3230 and the other from Martha & Chris Munson. They appearantly have the same agenda. No messages left on my cell phone.
they call me too it's been 3 times now only on my cell I don't even have a car.
They call once a week, pushing the "warranty on your car is about to expire" scam. Always calls on cell phone. Complaints to FTC have gone unanswered.
I just want to know how they get you "cell" number. Also, my newest vehicle has 150,000 miles on it, so it's not like i just purchased a vehicle.
I get a call from these nutballs once a week. What's alarming is they also called my work cell number, which is never given out.
Received one call from this number last night and just a few minutes ago. I didn't answer either time.

just missed a call from the tel# on my cell ... they didnt leave vmail.
This number called my work from --came up as the real number but I didn't pick up. I don't give this number out to anyone.
RTRM01 may be on to something. I bought a Magellan in December, but about 2 months ago I registered it so I could download updates. Only thing is I didn't put my mobile number on the registration and they are calling both my home & mobile from all kinds of numbers. But that is strange that I get all these warranty calls suddenly.
I also do have a 2 year old car that the warranty expired on awhile back. My bet is with Ford Credit selling this information to a lot of rat bastards- I get 3-4 calls weekly both at home & my cell

A warranty scam. Called to extend my automobile warranty. I immediately realized it was a scam because I do not own a car.
This isn't uncommon, in fact, it happens a few times a day to my phone. I just don't pick up any numbers i don't immediately know.

Here is a speculation, Dan Munson - President of a marketing company, which deals with GIS which is like GPS (thier related - just type in your county and the letters GIS and see what i mean) so i speculate since i purchased a GARMIN a few months ago, and registered online, and since then i have been getting calls ... any thoughts to that connection??
This is some telemarketing company that calls and says something like the factory warranty on your vehicle is about to expire. its a big ploy.
It left a message, but it was just dead air. I tried calling back, and the call gave me a busy signal.
I let it go to voicemail only to hear, 'This is the final call before we close the file.' Great, yet another phone number touting the vehicle warranty scam!
