Who Called Us

I have never done business with Wells Fargo of any kind. I have been with a credit union for over 20 years and all of my credit cards are also with them. These calls started not long after I bought a house (not through them). They call me 3 to 5 times a day for a month then it stops for a while and starts up again a few months later. Once I mistakenly answered a call and was mechanically transferred to an automated waiting line where they promised to answer "MY CALL"! Yeah...On my cell minutes...and I am on the DO Not Call list. I hung up.

This year they started calling about two weeks before Christmas from three numbers I've traced to them. I set my phone to reject them on Christmas and New Years day (yes they called then too) and they jammed my voicmail with messages stating their hours for every day of the week and repeating their 800 number several times. As you guys have noted they never say what the call is about. They also don't refer to any account or make any references to me being a customer, which I'm not. They are totally in violation of FTC and FCC regulations...but guess what? The FTC and FCC don't have any teeth attached to those regulations and if you file with them they won't do anything. I'm ready to talk to a lawyer and see what can be done to sue them for disrupting my home and work life.

They called my cell and a co-workers and it disconnected before anyone picked up....totally a scam

I do not have an acct with them and they are calling my cell phone!

They call me all hours of the day 7 days a week and never leave a clear message. I'm not sure what they want but if they think I'm answering they're crazy.

I made the mistake of answering one time and they told me that they want to give me a loan to consolidate my debt. I don't think I'll be doing that.

Final payment on a 0%, 12 mo loan was made in month 12. 2 days after the due date, the check was returned with a statement saying they weren't able to process it. No wonder, it looked like a small dog had been chewing on it. Regardless, a new check was cut and reutrned with a letter stating that the account was now closed, and the accrued interest wouldn't be forthcoming, as the original check was paid 2 weeks in advance of the due date, and it is out of my control if the USPS mangles my payment. They now call me 2x per day to claim I owe them money.

I have no debt on this planet and these jerks are calling me 10 times a day including Sunday! If you pick up, they say all operators are busy please wait!

they called my cell phone 23 days straight,ive never had a account with them and they still call,i guess the loser who had my cell number before me owed them thats why he ditched the phone.wells fargo leave me alone!!!!!!!!!!

They called to collect on a Coast Dental payment that a call to Coast confirmed I didn't owe - and they called me at work! They said they'd left messages at home, but they never had. I said I wanted it in writing!

They'll keep calling (no matter if it's your cell phone or not). On top of that, won't even leave you a message to tell you what it's regarding. Stalkers!

This is wells fargo.. I hate these bastards. They called me for months at work after I told them not to and gave them a different number. I also have paid them off, and the bastards KEEP CALLING.

I don't know why they are calling me...this is my cell phone! I don't have credit cards and have never been late on any bills, so I do not know why they are calling.

They called saying I was behind three payments on an account I have with them, when I was only behind on one because they havn't been sending the statements to my address! They lady I talked to was full of attitude because I was trying to get things figured out (after all she was trying to get me to pay for three late fees of $35 each). I ended up swearing at her a couple times which calmed her down and put her in her place. They have a bunch of IDIOTS working there!!!

Wells Fargo called to say I was a behind two payments, when I got online I found I was only late this month but I HAD PAID LAST MONTH!

I received a call from Wells Fargo who I "USE" to have an account with and has been paid off for 3 months. Not sure and I will NOT respond to an automated message.

Just received a call from this unknown number. Not sure why, because I do not have any accounts with Wells Fargo.

I do not appreciate a call from them saying I am late, when I never got a bill last month. This month they added a $35 late charge and I paid it off. They demanded to know when I sent it etc. I said they should have it by the first of the week. I do not appreciate their attitude and will not do business with them again.

I'm not in debt to them and have been making payments on time yet they call to say the payments are past due and now I have compounding interest although I am on a no-interest loan.

Wells Fargo collection folks. I'm on a debt mgmt plan and they have so far ignored the payment plan they've "accepted". I added them to my contacts with a random single letter on the cell phone and assigned "no ring".
