514-876-1307 number has been calling my cell 5 times a day for almost 2 weeks! I answered a couple times and it was just an auto-dialer. I phoned the number back and there was a recording saying to call 1-866 449 4430...even then...no people to yell at...just another recording where the only option was to enter your number and removed from the calling list......which would take 30 DAYS!!!

Not good enough!!

I phoned CIBC and got the number for their insurance department. I told the person what was happening. She confirmed that the company is called "Canadian Premier Life Insurance" and they sell credit card insurance. She gave me the REAL number 1-800-293-5008. I phoned and gave the person that I spoke to a piece of my mind and told her that 30 days was UNACCEPTABLE and that I wanted my number removed IMMEDIATELY! She asked for my name, address etc. and promised that she'd forward the info to her supervisor immediately.

Which must have worked because I haven't gotten a single call since.

I've finally got to speak to someone. It's an insurance company. If you call back to this number they give you another number to let you unsubscribe which is 866-449-4430. Hope that helped!

call 905-948-2110 and they will remove you from the list right away. i get about 10 calls per day from them.

I had them call 16 times in 24 hours. Today alone, it was every 30 minutes. They woke up my kids at 9 at night and really upset the entire house.

I called the local telephone company after activating the "call trace" feature (*57) on my touch tone phone and SaskTel told me it was an insurance company out of Montreal, Canada. This company needs to be totally and absolutely ashamed of themselves. I'd NEVER buy insurance from them after the way the treated / harassed my entire family. You guys can go pound salt as far as I'm concerned. Go stuff it ! Ya bunch of TURKEYS

This telemarketing # (514-876-1307)is associated with 'Canada Premier Life Insurance'(through Sears). Complaits are all over the internet. If all else fails dial:(800)661-6102 or(800)667-2570 8:AM to 7:PM EST.
NB: Found out it will take over one month to take your number off their call list by using their automated system at 1-866-449-4430. Good Luck!

This number keeps calling me like 4 times an hour. I actually answered and it turns out to be a CIBC rep trying to sell me some added value protection or something.

Is there a way to launch a complaint this is unacceptable.

So after I "cancelled" my number from their system, I received 3 more phone calls. That makes four for the day. It's like calling them lets them know, "hey, we have one" and they push and push. Finally by the 4th call, I was so PO'd, that I picked it up. It's not Sears, for me it was CIBC Credit Protection Services, balance insurance. I told her no thank you, so hopefully that'll be the end of it. I am SO frustrated with this #.

I've been receiving at least two calls a day for over two weeks, every day of the week, except Sunday. It would make sense if this is a Sears telemarketer (all the recordings say is that it's an "insurance services" company), because I recently received in the mail something relating to insurance for the Sears card I cancelled over two years ago. It was sent to my old address, again, lived there over 2 years ago, but my brother still lives there so he gave it to me.

BTW, when you call the 514-876-1307 # back, it now has an english recording that follows the french recording. It says "to remove your number, call 866-449-4430". I'll wait to see if this actually works.

I just told them that they were not to call me again.

I'm cancelling my Sears card because of this.

If this is indeed from Sears Canada (or a company that obtains phone numbers from them) this is absolutely cheap: I returned something at Sears' yesterday; they asked me for my phone number arguing it was mandatory to process the return, assuring me my number would not be sold, shared, etc. And then this phone call the next day.

Called me three times within the last 1 1/2 hours. Looked them up on this site to find out who they are. Caller ID provides no name. Very annoying!

I've been getting these every couple of days for the past month. This time I called back the number and got that French/English message that says to call 866-449-4430 to be removed from their list. So I called that number, but it said their office is closed... WTF?

These guys call around 3 times a day. Very annoying!

They have called almost everyday. I picked up once and they hung up on me.

A computer calls daily then no response when I answer. Talk about harassment. I had the same treatment from Fido. This should be illegal.

These jerks are indeed telemarketers for Sears Canada. They will try to sell you "Payment Protector" for your Sears charge card even if you don't have one!! No kidding.

I meant to say the recording is also in english. They phone number is provided by Bell Canada and originates from Montreal. Yesterday I received 6 calls from these guys and it's draining my cell battery even though I have their number on ignore.

I get calls everyday from these clowns. If you call back and listen to the message it's also in england. They tell you to call 1-866-449-4430. If you look up that number it's for Canadian Premiere and they are associated with Sears Canada. Notorious telemarketers who harass many people across Canada.
