I am on the do not call list.
Call from 513-759-8824. Asked for my wife and when I asked if I could tell her what it was concerning he became curt and rudely said that she had already agreed to give and he would have to hear it from her. Not only was he rude - he lied - my wife never talked to them.
Received call on 7/10/08. I wasn't home and no msg was left.
We do not appreciate a ghost call asking for my name and then hanging up
They keep clling even though I never answer and my message says if you don't show up on my caller ID don't call back.
I would appreciate knowing the physical location from which these calls are originating. I would also appreciate it if the phone company or the authorities could / would do something! Obviously the "no call" list is nothing but a joke to these people, and they have no consideration for others!!

wife answered and they asked for me, bill made out for Mrs.
caller asked if they could depend on us this year for Vietnam Veterans. I said sure.
Not sure legit and hence why I'm researching. The bill is made out to Mrs and PO box in Columbus while office number is 513-759-8800.
I will donate directly to Vietnam Veterans and already donate to DAV (Diabled American Veterans).
From the other post, no way I'll mail a check. I can't wait until they call back to see their response!

Mispronounced my name, and said he was from Cops for Kids...I hung up. I got a call from Ohio Troopers just a few hours earlier the same day (Out of Area). I should have known not to answer it.
These people call every day to every couple of days leave no message and tonight I finally answered and just heard breathing No response. Waited a minute or so and then they hung up Very annoying. Don't leave messages if it is the ohio Law enforement training center I want nothing to do with the Laws they are teaching.
When I picked up it sounded like the last part of a recording with a satanic voice saying "you disappointed me greatly grandpa" and then they hung up -weird-

I have received many calls from this number. They either hang up when I say my husband isn't home or hang up right after I answer the call. This is ridiculous!
Received a call from this Telemarketing Company stating they were with Cops for Kids and they provide teddy bears to kids who are involved in domestic situations. I usually give to this organization, because being an EMT, I have seen the faces of this kids in a traumatic situation, however, most of the money donated goes to the telemarketing company instead of the actual cause they are calling for.
The man that called me this year was very rude when I told him that I could not contribute this year since my husband has been laid off from work for quite awhile and he became instant that I give something, even if it was $5.00. When I stated again that I could not, he yelled, "Fine" and slammed the phone in my ear.
I will make sure that I do not send another dime to these people and I will make my donation to the local police instead!!!!!!!!!!

this # is a telemarketer; the parent company is Telecom Enterprises @ 513-759-8800. Have your law enforcement officials give them a call after you file a complaint/get a case #. BTW, the Cin Bell Annoyance Call Bureau is 513-397-7366
Have received 2 calls from this number ... no one answers ... I tried calling it back just to find out who it was and the line is always busy ... I hate it if it is someone calling on behalf of a police group wanting money for whatever ... they always put a guilt trip on you if you don't donate. I don't think being on a "do not call list" applies to charities or political organizations because those calls keep coming thru.

A "police organization" called from this number. He asked for donations for a children's fund in ... (this is where he stumbled and rattled off several different county names before deciding on Greene County). When I started to ask him to send us some information, he hung up on me. I will NEVER make donations over the phone to these RUDE SOBs. And the organizations who count on these "police" volunteers (?) to collect money for them NEED TO KNOW that it is NOT working to their benefit. What a waste.

ID says "Ohio Call. Asked for Mrs. Williams. (I believe name of previous user was Williams.) Could be coincidence. They hung up when I said "wrong number."
