Who Called Us

I too receive calls from this number, ID caller reads: Ohio Call. The caller is sometimes a female, others a male voice. They do leave a message, very, very long message. They are looking for some lady with our same last name but the first name that sounds like either: Tijuana or Tuana(?) We have been receiving these annoying calls from this number for at least 13 months. They call eveyday say- AM & PM including Saturdays and Sundays as late as 9:00 pm.

Don't know who this company is and what is there mission .

Name was Marc from whatever company and wanted to know who he should talk to re purchasing gas for our vehiles. Said I didn't know. He said he would call back after the (Labor Day) holiday.

We receive calls from this number on a frequent basis. Our postal code is 98366. We couldn't understand the messaage. Will answer it next time and ask who they are.

I got a missed call. No message.

Called me 08.02 @ 1107 AM, 08.03 @ 1108 AM, 08.03 @ 544 PM, 08.04 1027 AM, 08.04 @ 1125 AM. I didn't answer any of the calls so I got "rewarded" with a text msg fee when THEY texted ME on 08.12@ 348 AM. I'll try to contest charges with cell company. Clearly a violation since I DID register to NOT receive these calls.

Been investigating this number all day. I received a serious customer complaint from a customer that does business with the company I work for. The person calling from this number is pretending to work for our company. They even have data a bout our customers. I did find out that this is a Land Line Time Warner Customer in Cincinnati.

Got calls from this number 4 times almost every 1/2 hour,finally picked up and didnt even say hello..nobody said anything on the other side so I hung up.I am also on the "LMTFA" list

3 calls in 24 hrs. Called # back and it says the mailbox of Debbie Shoemaker is full.

Well, calls have subsided but maybe they quit after a certain time on the weekends. The funny thing is I finally started trying to talk to them (politely even) and they wouldn't even talk to me, even though THEY are calling ME! I'm really hoping they are done with this.

My problem was no one was there when I answered the call, that's when I pressed *57 & that stopped the calls.

They get rude if you are not here. They have hung up. and call me daily. If I wanted to talk to them I would answer and respond to them. What a pain in the butt.

It's just like Bill said: a short election survey (4 questions) about your state's November election. I just told them I wasn't a resident in the state anymore (which is actually true, in my case)...and apparently, that worked much better than kindly asking them to stop calling. We'll see...

OMG... I had gotten 6 calls from this place, I jumped on here took bills advice and it worked the survey was quick. Thank Bill!

I answered the call, they are doing a quick, 1-minute, survey about the governor and english as official language. I answered their questions, and the calls stopped! Just try that.

I pressed *57 which allows my phone company to trace the number & the calls stopped.I had been getting called every 15 min,started yesterday.

the link tim posted worked, when they called i said hello, it was silent, played the disconnected clip and it then hung up, i haven't had a phone call yet.

it just started, 12 phone calls yesterday, why would this start?

Is it my fault because I refuse to hear what they have to say? I have picked up the phone the last 4-5 times they have called and told them never to call and to remove me from their list. They keep calling and calling... 4 calls for me too on this saturday morning. What should we do guys, call Ohio police or something? I hope I dont have to change my number.

calls everyday now. it's 9:32 am on a saturday and this number has already called our house 4 times!!!!! can't stop it!!!

During the last call I picked up and said "Remove me from your list. Never call me again. Thank you." and hung up. I didn't even have the phone up to my ear because I just don't want to hear it. I'm so irritated that they are working around the no-call list... and really, who calls someone over 10 times in a day.. thats harrassment

I am getting tired of getting calls from this number. It's quite a bother when I trying to have dinner with my family and this number shows up.

Well, just kidding I have played the recording for them about 5 times now. This can't be anything reputable because people who want to get things done leave voicemails if it's important. It must be very important to this company to speak to me in person to sell me whatever it is I HAVE TO HAVE apparently.

..forgot to mention, they had called me 12 times just today, I kid you not.

UPDATE: Try this! Go here: payphone-directory.org and download the sound clip for the disconnected phone. Have it cued up and ready to go on your computer. When they call press play and hold the phone up to your computer speaker. I just did this and I think it may have fooled them!!! ...too early to tell for sure. Make sure the volume is loud enough for them to hear, but not too loud that it sounds distorted. The clip is 12 seconds long. I played the full 12 seconds, but my phone shows that the call lasted only 7 seconds, which means THEY hung up first!!! That's a good sign that they bought it!! Keeps calling almost HOURLY. Very annoying, although I have not answered yet.

these asshats have called me 4 times just TODAY. I was at work so I didn't answer. Got home and looked it up, found that others have the same issue. Mine is a cell phone and I am on the "leave me the fuck alone" list.
