the caller id read "calling" when this number called me, no message left on my machine
Have been getting calls every other day. This last call on 8/7 showed as "Calling" and was a recorded message about a free dish offer. When I followed up to have my name removed from the call list I spoke to Steve who was the most arrogent person I have ever spoken to. He refused to remove my number from their list; rambled on about the CIA, New York Times court decisions and that no one has any right to privacy. He refused to let me speak to a supervisor and said he was going to have calls to my number doubled before he hung up on me.
All it said was 'Calling' and there was no answer. Called at 5.30pm on 10/4/06. Zip code is 78130
This number called about 5pm on Sept 28, 2006. Caller ID just said "CALLING". Part of a pre- recorded message about replacing my TV service (with DirecTV or Dish Network?? They didn't say) was left on voice mail with voice telling me to press "1" to be connected to customer service. I hate telemarketers...

The number is from direct tv. Several calls the week of 9/4. ID says calling and no message is left.
This prerecorded message started with "Hi this is Sharon with Dish, the satellite TV network"....blah blah blah
No message left; when I answered on a previous occassion, I was treated to a "peppy" pre-recorded spiel about their service. I registered for the do not call registry after getting this call just now.
