How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
- Block them with a call blocker:

This is your 2nd notice. Your car warranty is about to expire.
508-947-4418; This is a phone number from a website that accepts payment to harass the recipient with meaningless phone calls. Jerry Osgood is one of those people who keeps this website in business. Send me your thanks.

work: 315-463-8480 or 718-990-8757 just ask for me, Jerry!
Call sounded fishy from the start. They tell me my warranty is about to expire, yet the operator can't tell me who I am or what kind of car I drive. "That information is confidential" Try to keep these guys on the line as long as you can.
called 3 times in 20 mins. left no message.
The phone number shows it is registered to an individual in Middleboro, MA. Calling the number results in a busy signal; the number on the caller ID has been SPOOFED, that is, the scammer (caller) made up the number, and fakes it on your caller ID display. Usually, they pick a number that has been recently disconnected for the fake caller ID number. They say that your car warranty is about to expire, and this is your last notice. This time they said "press 1 to speak to a rep, press 2 to be removed from our follow-up list." I pressed 2, and the call immediately hung up. They called a business number that is not listed, and there is no vehicle registered here, so they are just going thru all possible phone numbers to call, not going on a list of real vehicle owners! This type of call frequently comes from outside of the USA, even though they fake the caller ID info with a USA number, and is some kind of SCAM to steal YOUR MONEY by getting your credit card info!
called around 3:50pm cst - did not pick up phone--left no message - the number on 411 look-up shows the name Danielle Ellis of Carver MA. not known by us. never heard the name.

HAHAHAHAA!! I did not answer your call.
Morons.
Called 1/24/09, 3:40 pm. Phony car warranty scam with recorded message. Hung up after 5 seconds. Called number back to tell them not to bother me. No response. Does anyone know where how to file complaint?
they said "this is the second notice that your vehicle warranty has expired"
some automated message - I did not listen.
I waited to get to a individual and told them to stop calling. that they were calling a government number. they said they would stop. but the calls still happening once everyday. the call starts out with your vehicle warranty is about to expire with an automatted voice.
Got missed call from this number on both phones (work and personal). Anyone here using AT & T? Wondering if they hacked into AT & T or something.
They called three times this week. Answered the phone this time and it was a voice recording. Never get to talk to a real person. Believe this is a scam. Does anyone else think so.
They are probably calling from a blind or automated sequential list.
That is illegal, but they don't care.
That also means that no mattter how many times you ask to be put on the "do not call" list, it it irrelevant. The computer will just keep sequencing through the numbers.
Because it's blind calling, it won't matter whether it's land-line, cell-phone, blackberry, etc. It will eventually get to your number.
And, if they find a geographic area that "looks promising" because of responses by stupid people, the computer will focus on it, and you will get repeated calls.
Plus, they are probably spoofing the callerID number, so reporting them won't mean anything either.
They have called all three of our cell phones, so it must be an auto dialer. I hung on the line and pushed 1 - as soon as I started asking questions the girl hung up on me.
I'm logging a fraud call w/ the FCC. By law they have to Identify themselves as telemarketers.
they keep calling my cell phone...third time this week! Recording of a woman's voice regarding the possible termination of my car warranty....a scam!
Jerk keeps calling my cell phone
Get 2 or 3 calls a week from this number, for a few weeks now. A recorded message saying something like this is you last chance to extend your warranty on your car. It is a scam!! Watch out.
business call they called me three time in 20 min.
This is the second notice...
These jerks keep calling under the name "warranty help desk" it is a recorded message saying something like this is you last chance to extend your warranty on your car. I have no warranties on any of my cars, but I'm sure they trick a few poor saps out there into giving up their credit card numbers.
