Also, send the letter certified mail with a returned receipt.
it is Citibank. They are collecting a debt. They have been calling us 15-20 times/day for 2 months, and we owe them nothing. We have never been late on payments. But since they call using auto-dialers from so many different numbers, they refuse to do anything about the constant calls even when we tried to ask them to stop.
Further proof that collection agencies and their minimum wage telemarketer employees are scum of the earth!
Some other numbers they use are:
505-797-6100
505-797-6327
859-283-8071
They call in the morning while I am still sleeping and at night when we are putting the children to bed just to hang up on us!!!!! If I could get hold of a live person I would tell them that I'm going to hunt them down and rip off thier heads!!!! Stop waking everyone up you sonsabitches!
I do have accounts thru Citi, and I've been getting these calls for the last week, about three times daily. No message left, and when I answer no one is there. I checked all of my accounts and all were current and not over limit, so I finally called the number back and waited in silence while it asked for an account number. It took me to a representative whom I asked why they were calling me, she asked for my telephone # and from there told me info only Citi could know about my account. Turns out they made a mistake and nothing was wrong, she assured me nothing was wrong, apoligized and that was it. So, if you're getting calls from this number, I assure you, IT IS CITIBANK, and either you have an issue with your account or they are making a mistake by calling you, by all means call them back and straighten it out!
This is the collections arm of Citi cards, they if you have a store credit card, ie Sears, OSH, Kmart, Home Depot, they are all administered by Citi, so any of those could be causing calls from Citi....
When Citibank calls, the caller ID reports Citi-whatever, no dash, no space. Citi Cards Svc is new. If I screen the call,it goes dead. If I answer, it goes dead.
Citi Cards. Attempt to collect a debt.

the person called 3~4 times a day. he said that I still owed CitiCard money from the credit debt. as the matter of fact, I have cleared my credit card and never used credit for a long while. I have never received any banking statement ever since. I finanlly picked up the call one time at work when they called. The guy asked me for my address as verification. I could not tell if this person is really from Citibank or not.
This is a scam that tries to sell you insurance or a car warranty for an amazing deal. They require your banking information over the phone, which they then use or sell.
Voicemail says that the are Citicorp and "this is not a sales call".. I dont have a citibank credit card?????
Got a call for the husband, Then wanted card #'s. I said we do not have a account. They said the husband logged's in on the net.. He don't know how to turn the stupid computer on... He's a Logger .... Cute This is a scam.I reported it to the Attorney General and the BBB.
I am getting tired of waking up in the early morning just to ignore a fucking call from this. I just want to sleep!!! Is that so hard to ask? I want them to stop fucking calling me!!!!
Hung up phone this morning...scabs!
This is CitiCards. We have an important message for you. You get put on hold and the "voice" says all representatives are busy; pls hold for the next available representative. I have gotten 6 calls from this number in 2 days. I actually called my Credit Card company. They have no pending messages for me. It is a scam of some sort. I won't stay on hold.
Called, but no message left...
they have called repeatedly and never leave a message. the calls start at 8 am until 11pm between 6-10 calls daily and on SATURDAYS. These are calls to my cell phone btw. My accounts are all up to date...?
they call my number about 6 times a day, never leave a message. my zip 17555. I think if it was business from Citibank they would leave a message
I called them back and DID NOT enter any information when asked for and they sent me to a real person who I told that I knew they were not Citibank to to not call me anymore, after a few minutes she told me that they would no longer call me....I hope they dont. Try calling them and without giving them your information tell them you know they are fake and to stop calling you.
Called...did not leave a msg
Received call asking for X person, I said they werent there and asked who was calling person said mary and asked if anyone who paid the bills for the business was in. Before I could explain this wasnt a business she hung up

The number 505-797-6333 continues to call our office. When you answer, a recorded message begins by telling you to hold for next operator. Then a lady came on the line asking me where she called. It is coming across the screen as 505-797-6333 with anonymous status. This number is annoying. We are a government agency in Cincinnati, Ohio.
This is citibank calling for money. I was late on a payment, they will even call sundays.
A recording said that it was a call from Citibank and to hold for the next available - and that's all I heard. I just hung up the phone at that point.
I got this call today and got another call from a different number 2 days ago - interestingly enough - both numbers have the same comments on this website. I do not have a citicard.
I have had 3 calls from 505.797.6333 today. Two times they hung up on me. Third time, they said hello and then hung up. I called the # back and it had a strange ring the first time. Then I hung up and called back and it was a automated system asking for my acct #.... no thanks!! :)
lots of reasons lets me hated CitiBank, so i have no any account with CitiBank, but they called me three times a day, I saw my caller ID and I never pick up.
not unless someone can tell me who this is, im just going to let it ring...
We have no accounts with citibank, yet we get this call about three times a week. We are on the no-call list. I think our phone number belongs to someone who used to owe money to many sources, and we are going to have to change it
Two calls from this number on my cell phone and NO MESSAGE. I don't give out my cell except to relatives, and I don't answer my phone if it's a number I don't know, so no idea who this is or how they got my number.

Got a call about 10 mins ago from female looking for someone--I told her that she had the wrong number. She then started to question me about where this person was, how long ago I got my number etc--when I told her again that nobody by that name lived here she insisted that I had to answer her questions so I could be taken off the list. I told her that I would report them if we kept getting calls & she said that this wasnt a solicitation call. When I asked for her supvr she said she was. She refused to give me her supv saying they were unavailable. When she continued questioning me & I wouldnt answer to her satisfaction she said she would keep calling our house & then hung up. I called citibank & they told me they dont operate like that but couldnt do anything more about it. In this day & age of technology, they cant track anything down & blame it on outside vendor. Real professional!!
The representative was extremely rude when I tried to determine who was calling, and she eventually hung-up when I wouldn't provide any information.
7 times in one day and my payment is 1 week late!
It's CitiCard. They're the debt collection company for my Key Bank card. I never answer because half the time they don't have your information ready and the other half of the time they are rude. I told them I had called a consolidation company and they said "well the calls aren't going to stop until we receive payment." These people are relentless! Just wait until they call at 8:30 on a Saturday morning...
Yep. They called me numerous times today. I actually answered once and no one would talk. They called again and the voice mail had someone saying, "hello" into the receiver. This is very annoying.
CitiCard is very persistant. 3-5 a day.
Day and night calls, my card is payed off and Citibank has said that they aren't the ones calling... fishy
Citicard, or so they say. My husband and I let one of his loser friends stay at our house for a while. We kicked her out when there was no sign of her getting her act together. Now we constantly get collection calls. I don't dare answer since I'm female and they'll assume I'm her and lay into me. Don't help losers out. You just end up dealing with their mess.
I have a suggestion when a call is received like this that requests your credit card number. Ask them to tell you what number they have. Don't give them your number or any other information.

they've called so many times over the past 3 weeks, i've lost track. they justed called again; they never leave a message.
this nimber has called my house numerous times. I answered it early this morning. The caller did not i.d herself only asked for my husband after I told her to take us off their calling list. I repeated myself and then hung up. The caller never i.d herself and asked for my husband by his initials.
I hold no account with Citi Bank, yet they tell me I need to update my account with them... bogus.
Citi Card calling an outdated number tracking down outstanding debt.
Didn't leave a message.
When calling that number, they claim it's Citicards and ask for your account # .... DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO.
Instead call the number on the back of your card...!!!
3rd call with this number, i finally answered today and a woman asked for someone's name that wasn't mine. I told her to please stop calling as this was a cell number. She had the brass to tell me to not talk that way to her or she would keep calling and she hung up. Nice representative of Citibank, huh? I won't ever be using them.
I have received calls from 505-797-6327 and 505-797-6333. If answered, just heard dead air. If I don't answer it, then a voicemail is not left. Finally it left a voicemail today to call CitiCards @ 800-388-2200. Instead of calling that # I called the # on the back of my card. They advised me their collection department is trying to contact me (my account was over its limit) and that 800-388-2200 is a valid # of theirs. Hope this helps!
I was behind on a payment on My CitiCard account and this is the numbe rthey called from.
This is Citicard, I called the number back and it is the normal Citicard prompts and what not. I called the 800# and they said that was correct so, not sure if people are getting confused but it is Citicard from what I can tell.
I don't know this number, they did not leave a message. My zip is 55124.
They called me twice today. Once around 850 am, and once at 1107 am. My zipcode is 20009.
This is not the first such set of calls i have gotten, but these dont leave a message.
This is the 4th call today from this number..we are registered on the national
do not call list. I guess they could care less.
They identify themselves as Citibank and say they want to confirm activity on a credit card. They WILL ask for passwords and account numbers.
I called Citibank (using the number printed on my card) and they were not trying to contact me. Sounds like an attempt to steal card numbers to me.
citibank calling
I keep hanging up and they keep calling back. They tell to hold for the next operator for a message about your account
I don't know this number and I want to find out who it is. It called early in the morning.
