How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.

It was 11:35 am when they called, and I wasn't home. When I came back, there was a message for me on the answering machine. It said something like, "If you let us put a sign in your yard, we'll install a free security system in your home at no cost to you! Please press 1 to talk to a representative now."
Yeah, I wouldn't trust this type of call, or any calls that come in from out of area. Most of the time, people offer "FREE" security systems to get inside your homes, and see what valuable things you have. Then they'll just come back when you least expect it and rob your homes. I know that sounds a bit insane, but it's happened before. Not to me, but other people. So don't pay attention to these calls. Never talk to them.
These people have called 5 times today selling some kind of home security system. We told them we were not interested and they call right back. I'm not sure who they are. They refuse to correctly identify themselves when asked.
