They left no message.

ok folks, here's the deal. This IS crystal vision, but they are NOT affiliated with Broderbund. After doing some digging, I discoverd that when you register software with different companies and let them know you want more information, they infact view that as permission to SELL your contact info to other companies!! We had these guys on the phone while I searched out this info!! Guys seemed really upset that I was researching their company. The ink is not a HUGE savings and the software they offer in their package is OLD titles that you can pick up at places like Wal-Mart for about $5. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM! They just called and said they were from the Oregon Software company, and said "Are you 18 you sound a little young." i replied. they asked for an adult, i said okay-but i hung up instead. they knew my name and my mom's cell phone number! i never give it out on any internet pop ups, or games..or anything! it freaked me out!!

I received a call @ 9:28 am to-day. My caller id showed no name, & no one replied when I answered, though the line was open.

Called 2:10 PM EST - no message - so much for the DNC list

they have been calling me as well I just dont answer when I see the number. I called it back and it also said it was a crystal vision software.No idea where they got my number.

I recieved a call within 5 minutes of downloading software from Apple, don't know if this is a link or not. Visited Apple and macfixit and gnutella forums, then boom my first phone call, on my cell, as well.

This company calls my home all of the time. I called the number back, and it is a software company.

Second time they called me, when answered no one there. I am on the DNC list as well.

Who ever this is calls me three times a day six days out of a week and never leaves a message.

On my phone is tells me its Crystal Vision. When I answer it they hang up. If I call the number back it is busy.

WOW!! I can FINALLY confirm that "crystal vision" is related to registering Broderbund software. I received a call today from 503-493-0142 (caller ID says "Crystal Vision"). When I answered, someone was actually ON THE OTHER END (pretty rare with this sort of company). The salesman started his "sales routine" and identified the connection as "you recently registered some software through Broderbund." I interrupted him telling him that I am on the DNC list and would prefer not to be contacted by phone. He immediately apologized and said I would be taken off their calling lists. I will update if there are any other times I am contacted by this company.

(PS - from reading some of the other messages here, I'm pretty sure the Broderbund connection is not the only one, so even if you haven't registered any of their software recently, you may also be called for another reason)

They have been constantly calling, I answer, no one responds, I hang up. In my experience, telemarketers call 50 numbers at a time, the first to pick up gets answered, the rest are left hanging. Very annoying, not the way to do business.

I am also on the national DNC list.

They (caller ID says it is "Crystal Vision") called June 21, 2007 at 2:17 PM. This is at least the second time they've called in a month (see my note on June 8). When I answer, the phone is "dead" sounding....basically, the computer that is calling hangs up as soon as I pick up my receiver.

I got this same call at 1:53pm and didn't recognize the number, but i did answer it, and when i did, nobody answered me on the other end...weird :O

They've been calling my cell off and on for a couple of weeks... number only, no name, I don't answer and they don't leave message...seems same for all.

I received a call at 9:37 a.m. Thursday, 6/7/07. The caller was identified as Crystal Vision. The caller didn't leave a message.

Called cell between 9:00-10:00am. Answered, they said something about computer products, didn't understand what they wanted, so hung up. Then tried calling that same # back and it was busy. If they call you, don't answer.

i received a 2nd call on 5/16/07 @ 9:36am - reading through the messages here i wonder if these calls started after i registered my borderbund photoshop software a few weeks ago. maybe they (crystal vision) buys contact info from broderbunds registration?

I get this call about once a month, always during 1st shift work hours. Never a message.

THEY CALLED MY CELL 5/10/07 @ ABOUT 9:57A.M. BUT DID NOT LEAVE A MESSGAE. I WAS AT WORK SO OF COURSE I DIDN'T ANSWER MY CELL. I'M ALSO ON THE DNC LIST.

They're a total pain!!! If you bought Printmaster software and registered your name & phone number (which I stupidly did!) on Broderbund, they call trying to sell computer junk. TOTAL SCAM, BEWARE!!!

just got a call 4/27 11:10 am. I answered, they hung up. I'm always buying computer stuff - so I can't pin down what the culprit was. Can't think of anything from Broderbund though.

Called on last Monday PM and Good Friday AM. I do not pick up unknown on my cell. Involved in separation/divorse. Believe this is an annoyance initiated by the other side.

get sick and tired of these phone calls. just get this new phone number and this is one of the phone numbers that keeps on calling .Also when we made CLEAR that we don't appriciate these phonecalls. they say give us 24 hours well they still call and call even after weeks telling them NOT TO CALL no more. Please what is legal to do with these calls

Got these calls not only from this phonenumber but more and ID shows up as different states.. Pick up they don't say anything Called back nothing either.. get sick and tired of these calls every day.. we got per day like ten calls and don't even care if it's during the day or nights

They called me today at 9:56 am but didn't leave a message. I just did a reverse search on the # that showed up on the caller id and it came up as Crystal Vision from Oregon

Called on my wife's cell phone. No message was left and we neither one reconized the number.

They just called my house for the very first time...I recently bought a new computer off Newegg.com, is there any conenction between any of us and this site? I have never registered any computer software with my home number, always use my cell, and my home number is the only one this company is calling...wonder what the connection is? Am not too happy to receive ANY calls from Oregon - nothing personal against the state AT ALL - but have an ex in prison there [lol] and my hubby tends to freak anytime Oregon shows up o the caller id...so I want this TO STOP! ugh.

I'm deaf and they called on my work relay number. I answered and no one ever spoke, not even a recording.

We follow up on BRODERBUND SOFTWARE REGISTRATIONS that INDICATE interest in discounts and specails. You checked the box indicating this! So when you register next time take your time and check or uncheck the boxes to your needs when registering. KNOWLEDGE is POWER!

I've been getting calls from this number for the past 3 weeks...I've asked them to stop and the won't.

They call every day and caller ID says PORTLAND, OR

Called today at 2:05pm. Caller ID only displayed phone number. Did not answer and they did not leave a message.

When I called the number back, it is an unatended phone. the voice message says that if you want to kn0w more about their services put your name and number and tell them to call you back otherwise leave your name and number and tell them to put you on their do not call list. They claim it will take 24 hours. as this is my son's cell phone and he claims to not put his phone # anywhere but on gmail account I do not know what to think

Got a call @ 2:30PM CST. I think TAE is correct!Just registered Print Shop 22 a few weeks ago.

They called on 1/19, 2007. I certainly am keeping track. They called at 2:32pm. We were not at home.

I have a great many out of town relatives, and I try to answer all of my calls. It is really starting to be a problem. I am going to block the number from now on. I am with cellular south, so I do not think it is Verizon. I am going to contact them today and tell them that I have filed a complaint.

this number belongs to crystal vision but also related to borderbund...if you have print shop software or something similar and registered it...then you will receive calls from them about software specials and shit

A call almost every day for at least a couple of weeks. They NEVER leave any message. The caller ID says Crystal Vision, but I hate sales calls so I don't pick up!

They have been calling and asking for me directly. I have only answered once since they never leave a message. This is an annoyance because my number is on the DNC list and they are calling my cingular cell phone.

I haven't been getting them frequently but i have been getting them. I was wondering what the area code was. Hmm.. but it was around 3:00 while i'm still at school. I left my phone at home and my aunt answered and they asked for me by name. Said it in a foreign accent too. Jan. 3, 2007

They called Tuesday Jan 2, 2007 at 9:41 am. The caller id said "Name Unknown".

They called my verizon cell and i am on the dnc list. I'm pissed. i'm in NJ

These clowns called my Verizon cell on 12/26/06 at 4:23 pm. I am also on the dnc list. What's up with these guys? Is the dnc list a joke to them? Also I see that someone else responded and said they were using Verizon. Are they the problem?

12/26/06-THEY CALLED ME AT 9:54am NO CALLER I.D., JST THE NUMBER & NO MESSAGE LEFT. I FOUND THIS BY LOOKING UP THE NUMBER.

They called at 8:30AM and asked for me pesonally and said I registered software with them. I've never heard of them, this is not true. I have reported them to DNC

They call at least once a week - caller id says "Crystal Vision". When I did answer on the last call - they asked to speak to my husband & said something that I couldn't understand - then hung up

Called us on 11-10 and 11-13, must be some automated thing as we never even here any tone noise, we have reported this number and suggest anyone else do so also.

Called Monday morning around 10 am and they called again today at 4 pm . Both times I let it go to voicemail because I'm at work and don't recognize the number, they leave no message. I reported them on the donotcall.gov website as I registered my cel # at the first of the year.

My cell is listed as my WHOIS number and only since I registered domains am I getting calls from these idiots.

They've called several times never leave messages. I don't answer calls to numbers I don't know, I just let it go to voice mail. Caller ID shows Crystal Vision, Google shows them as some sort of computer company.

I got these calls too. I called the number back and it is Crystal Vision computer software. It is an answering machine. You can leave a message on there. You can have them contact you at the number they called or you can be put on a do not call list. I called and left a message that I am on the state and federal do not call registry and that I have reported them!

I called the number after 9 PM (when calls are free) and got a recording that they sell computer supplies.
