Who Called Us

HAVE RECEIVED 10 CALLS WITHIN PAST WEEK OR SO!!!!!!!! NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I ASK THEM TO TAKE ME OFF THE LIST AND STOP CALLING...THEY EITHER HANG UP OR CONTINUE! FINALLY AN AGENT (CLEARLY THESE CALLS ARE FROM INDIA) ASKED ME ABOUT 100 TIMES IF I WERE 100% POSITIVE I WANTED TO BE REMOVED FROM THE CALLING LIST, THEN HE SAID HIS SUPERVISOR HAD TO HEAR IT DIRECTLY FROM ME! I HAD EVEN TOLD THE AGENT I HAD THEM ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST, AND HE LITERALLY, LITERALLY ARGUED WITH ME...SHOUTING MATCH...THAT THEY CHARGE $30 A MONTH FOR THAT SERVICE AND THAT IT WOULD SHOW UP ON MY NEXT TELEPHONE BILL!!!!! I TOLD THEM I HAD AN ILL ELDERLY MOTHER AND THE CALLS ARE VERY DISTURBING AND RAISING BLOOD PRESSURE TO DANGEROUS LEVELS DUE TO THEIR HARRASSMENT! HE ASSURED ME I WOULD NOT RECEIVE A CALL FROM "THAT NUMBER" AGAIN. AND WHAT DO YOU KNOW...HE WAS RIGHT. IT WAS 2 DAYS LATER THAT I RECEIVED A CALL FROM ANOTHER NUMBER AND WITH THE NAME SSPL! I HAVE VARYING 480 AREA CODE #'S THEY HAVE BEEN USING TO CALL ME! IS THERE NO WAY TO STOP THIS INSANITY! THEY ARE DRIVING ME TO THE POINT OF HOSPITAL ADMISSION!!!

I've been getting calls from these guys for a couple of months. First it was a Sprint phone then a Walmart gift card and gas card. I've started filing a report with the FCC everytime I get a call. I get the name of the person calling (as if they use their real name), the name of the company (they never say they are calling from SLG Sales), the number they call from and the date and time. I'm on the Do Not Call list and always ask them to stop calling me. They called today offering a Walmart gift card, so I decide to e-mail Walmart about the problem too. Maybe they can do something. You can also report calls to the FCC when the caller hangs up with out talking. I think what they are doing is illegal.

Wow, I thought I was just being harassed, but then I come here! They called me twice today, and they've been calling all the time for a couple of months. 8:01am this morning, and it's USUALLY mornings, as I work nights of course. And then again at 1pm. Sometimes at 9pm. "How are you today?" If you ask for DNC list, they hang up. Same as everyone else.

Okay everyone, next time, pick up, wait for them to say "Hello?" and then SCREAM AT THE TOP OF YOUR LUNGS! I mean, hey, they're not going to stop calling right? Have some fun with it!

It was an Indian gentleman who started off very nice. Called me(1/17/08) at 9:50 p.m. I didn't realize the time and they said I was selected to win $25 Walmart and $25 Gas gift card. No strings attached, nothing to buy, no committment to anything. They verified my address which they already had and said they would be sending me a 7 digit pin number to use to activate the gift cards. Then he politely got ready to transfer to the verification dept and threw in a smooth line that he needed the expiration date on my credit card - Visa or Mastercard no American Express. I refused to give him the number. We began to argue; about his company (EDD Saver-which he called, a Marketing Partner program with Walmart, Shell or Chevron gas), we even argued about the time he was calling - he felt that was no big deal. Then he got mad and said "let me tell you something, I have your credit card number and I know what it is, I need you to verify the expiration date". I was LIVID! I demanded his name (Shawn Thompson, 800-535-8731) and company (EDD Saver). These guys were VERY persistent to get my information. It was as if their life depended on it. I am closing all of my accounts not knowing what my become of this. PLEASE IF THEY CALL YOU JUST HANG UP. I had more to say but this comment was too long.

they have called us 11 times in 6 days and i have had it up to here from them. i don't even live in arizona

I have received 5 phone calls from SLG Sales since Jan. 11, 2008. same story, free Wal-Mart gift card and gas card... It's a foreign guy and he's hard to understand. I have hung up twice. When I called back to have my # put on a "do not call list", it won't go through.480 area code is Scottsdale, AZ. BEWARE, don't give any Credit Card Info to people you don't know. Good luck everyone. Called twice in one day didnt answer

This number calls repeatedly but never talks, if you call back you get a message in an Asian sounding voice saying leave your phone number and a brief message and we will get back with you. I dont want them to get back to me, I want them to quit calling my house at 7:11 AM when we sleep late because we dont go to bed till 2 to 3AM

i just git a call from this number they waited for a sedc then hung up

Jerks called at 9:00 p.m. and when I answered I could hear noise in background but they never said anything...hung up.

called twicw a day starting 12/1---just moved--post office has our new house address--official mailing address is still the same PO box number,different zip code from new house address. A friend used our new address to have something delivered here. She ordered from the internet from walmart and Target,giving her name. They asked for my name and birth date--then the expiration date of any existing credit card even if we had nothing in it. Having never come in contact with this before (just plain luck,I guess) I did remember my daughter talking about scams and told them no credit card onfo. They hung up. I figured I'd made enough of a mistake by giving my name and birthdate. She told me about this site.

They say (in foreign accent) they are Sprint. When I asked their phone number so I could see if they were legit, she said just a minute and hung up. (I had it on the caller ID anyway) When I called it is an answering machine that says (in foreign accent) "welcome to customer care, please leave a short note"

When I call it says welcome to customer care. They claim to be Sprint when they call (NOT!)

Same bank of numbers as whocalled.us. Probably a huge boiler-room trying various scams.

this guy from India keeps harassing us and asking to speak with a minor in the home and offering free gas vouchers when asked to put us on the do not call list he avoids the issue and asks various questions. This is a scam!

donotcall.gov PLEASE COMPLAIN!!!! I do NOT do business with SPRINT, My cell phone is AT&T and I'm getting these strange calls at all hours. I don't believe they are calling from SPRINT anyway my mother received the calls on her cell phone and thought they were in SPANISH. I suppose they are not; and most likely are from some call center in another country. I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST ALSO to file a complaint you have to have been on the list for a month. Check all the calls from 4805431187 its the same thing. When you call back it says with a heavy accent: THANK YOU FOR CALLING CUSTOMER CARE PLEASE LEAVE YOUR NAME AND PHONE NUMBER AND A BRIEF NOTE. I hung up.

After two phone calls and a lot of noise on the answering service we blocked the call

I got a call from an 'India" Indian, I think he told me he was Howard Johnson (LOL) and calling me about something......and that I had won $135 in free gas vouchers. I told him to take off the call list that my number was unlisted and that I was on the Do Not Call List. He disconnected the call. Tried to recall number but it tells me all circuits are busy. What good is the registry if they get through anyway???

Really tired of getting phone calls from individuals who cannot speak English and scream at me because they cannot be understood.

Whoever it was started saying "helloo helloo" even before Callwave started recording. Then they hung up. I'm supposed to be on the Do Not Call list.

They can't speak good English - Sounds like a call center probably in India... How do you stop this garbage to my cell phone ?? Seems like computer calls for them...They call almost every day... I couold not understand what I'd "won"
