Who Called Us

This guy was hilarious. I listened to his explanation (imagine a man speaking in a very strong middle eastern accent) "your number was selected to receive a $50 gas card, and you were selected because you have been making purchases with your visa, mastercard, or discover card. Is your address blah blah blah blah blah." After each question I politely asked him who he was and why he was calling (hah!). The poor soul must have repeated himself about ten times. So, he asked for my expiration date. I said "of course, I will just have to get my card." I gave it about a minute before coming back with a date - and asked "are you going to need my card number?" He said "I will only need the numbers on the front of your card. I do not need any of your security codes, just the numbers off the front of your card." So I tell him "I am sorry, but I don't feel comfortable with giving you that information over the phone." Oh, here came the whole story again. I repeated myself. He became irate saying "when you run your card through the machine at the store and you get two receipts and one is kept at the store do you think that the clerk does not have your card number?" I calmly repeated myself again and told him that I was going to hang up.
As his yelling became considerably louder, I took my time on this one, I hung up the phone.
IMMEDIATELY he called back. I did not answer.
He thought he was getting me that time..

I get these calls on my cell at least four times a day. 211

:UNKNOWN CALLER - stated they were from VALUE BENEFITS OF AMERICA
man stated he was calling from Arizona / I had to ask for all information as he was not readily giving any,
spoke w/ his supervisor too, supervisor stated he was 'David Jones' (yeah - right) and had a slightly less Hindu accent than the caller, once transfered back to caller, HE stated his name was David, (much more thick accent), I say; Your David too?
He says, yes, David Allen -
(I've seen repetitive names in these complaints, but mixed order, david allen, allen jones, david jones, and the like, and these are OBVIOUSLY from India or the such)
He stated they were calling out of Arizona, he kept asking for my credit card # - KEPT asking for it, i refused, after he would not give a # I could call them @ to verify, he stated they could not recieve calls, (BS) and kept asking for my CC # , he knew my info, address, name, phone#, but would'nt state how it was obtained.
I told him I wouldn't give it, then he said "thankyou for wasting his ti-"
that's when I hung up.

tried to call today 3-31-08 customer service leave your number to be removed from call list. promise airline tickets. were working for Consumer Benifit Ass. The Supervisors name was Alex Franklin I asked the person that Wanted my information for their address he said it was 907 wilshire Los Angelsa, Ca. 90017 ... You can cancel at any time Pay no attention to the cost of $25 or the $49 on the recording do not ask questions until the end of the recording you will not be charged. the first person wants your bank number but not your routing number the second person wants it all. I pray to God that get caught.

The call several times a day, but once I answer the phone they hang up.

Got a call from SLG Sales 3-4 times today. Was a couple different numbers that have called. What is up with these people?

SLG Sales, calls at all hours of the day and night, usually several times a week or more. I don't answer it as the caller ID shows who they are. However, they are calling later and later on the week nights and it is becoming a problem.

Rest assured that Value Benefits of America and a place called Family Connect Unlimited are linked together. One is based in Reno Nevada, and the other in Arizona. I know this first hand, because 2 charges showed up on my husbands debit card for Family Connect and then for Value Benefits, but they both offer the same thing if you research it on the internet. My husband never even gave his card number out, he never spoke to anybody, yet, somehow, they got his card number and have charged off and on at different times. He would become overdrawn, because he wasn't expecting these charges, and they came off his card. Yet Family Connect offers some type of telephone service for 59.95. Guess what that showed that Value Benefits took out for that. Vice Versa on the other one. It is sad, because the bank said well somebody had to authorize those charges. You can get your card turned off, but you won't get your money back for the charges. Oh, by the way, I called the numbers personally, they have more than one number. The bank told me to call them and dispute the charges. Family Connect has recording, due to high volume of calls, email us. Value Benefits, well, you better get a couch and lay down while you are on hold. You will be on hold forever. Then when you try to get something taken care of, oh we didn't take anything off that account with the name I gave, not the debit card number.

I believe this is a phishing program that generates and randomly calls phone numbers and when you return the call the computer system automatically records your ph# as active and either forwards your number to some prankster, scam artist, or initiates a cycle of a series of random calls by the system.

Do not return calls to this number.

THESE CALLS ARE ABUSIVE AND I DEMAND THEY STOP! MY ATTORNEY HAS BEEN CONTACTED.

File a complaint. Take a few more of these stupid calls, log down the times and dates, and then file a complaint here:

The FCC form for Telemarketing fraud and herassment (Including failiar to remove your number from a calling list) is fcc.gov . YES, IT IS A FEDERAL VIOLATION OF F.C.C.

I recieve calls from this company about 3 to 5 times a week. They are falsly representing themselfs as Visa or Master Card and never remove you from any lists. They Strive to ask yes or no questions while recording your responses. I have found myself getting legal with this company. It is a federal crime to use FCC (Federal Communication Commission) Lines for fraud (herassment)! Generaly, if you call anyone, unsolicited, more than 3 times a month it is considered herasment both with federal and local laws. To file complaints about herassment over the FCC Regulated telephone system go to fcc.gov which lists varios ways you can file a complaint along with the proper forms.

They called me twice offering me a $25 Wal Mart card and a $75 gas card. But the caller wanted my credit card number and expiration date. He claimed it was for shipping and handling. I refused to give him this information and explicitly asked for him to never call me back. I receive at least one phone a day from this number to my cell phone.

The caller said that my number had been selected to receive a free gas card.

I explained that I wasn't interested and asked him to stop calling, he continued, and I repeated "No Thank you". The caller then mimicked my accent (Australian) before hanging up.

Is there a way to stop callers like this? I am registered on the do not call list.

I started calling the number back after it calls me and I leave them threatening voicemails. I have threatened to slit their throats and also to burn their building with all of them in it. To no avail, they still call me and I have an unlisted and restricted number. I think I am going to call my lawyer due to stress.

This number comes up at my place of work about once a day.
So annoying.

anniversary. He wanted to confirm my address. He had some other address and not mine despite the fact
I had this phone nbr for 7 years, I told him the address was wrong. I said how can you give me something,
I dont know who you are, and you obviously have no clue who I am. He identified his company as 'Privacy Matters'.
I told him not to call back, I am not interested and hung up. Scumbags

They have been calling at least three four times a day for the last week

every time i answer this number and say hello there is NO ONE THERE. ??? wierd. it just keeps calling like twice a day and as late as 9 p.m.

This number calls me 10 times a day and says nothing,when i call back it is spanish..im going to freak out on these f^%^^.

I have received a call from 480-543-1187 PROMO OFFER every day for three weeks. I have started calling the number back leaving them a message to stop calling my number. I will continue doing this until they stop. If they don't stop soon, I will start blowing a whistle into the receiver. I suggest everyone do the same maybe they will "GET IT".

I have had them call over 20 times a day when i answer it is silent for a couple of seconds then they hang up when i call the number back that shows up on my caller ID it says it is not in service or call can not be completed at this time. I have finally filed a complaint with the national do not call list to see if they stop.

I think that these folks are getting our numbers from COMCAST. Comcast just dumps your name on any list that is out there and sells it. I know this because they totally misspelled my last name(the worst spelling I ever seen) and every piece of junk mail or call i get uses that spelling.

ANOTHER middle eastern ran scam! Don't ever even waste your time answering or calling to get them to stop. It won't work. Eventually they will stop calling. (usually).

This company has called our home repeatedly even though we're on the do not call list and I've asked them 4 times to take us off their list. I don't know what they want because as soon as they start talking I tell them I'm not interested and to remove us from their call list. I've called and left a message on their machine twice now asking them to stop calling us and today I filed a complaint on donotcall.gov even though I'm not sure if it will do any good. I left them a message telling them I was turning them in both their and to the BBB. I doubt they will stop calling but if enough of us complain hopefully something will be done about them.

Man with an Indian accent called saying that he wanted to send a free cell phone to me. I’m sure the next thing he wanted was to verify who I was by asking for my social and if I gave that to him I’m sure the next thing he would of asked for would have been a credit card number to pay for shipping. It’s a scam folks.

I got this call today and after reading the types of people this scam is run by, I figured I\'d just forward all of their calls to the attorney general\'s office in Arizona. So now whenever they call my house, they\'ll be forwarded on to the AZ AP\'s office. VOIP can be a wonderful thing.

When asked my birthdate I said no thanks and hung up.... He proceeded to call back and left a message on my machine repeating "you hung up on me when I asked your birthdate...Pick up the phone.... Answer the phone..." and then called back 2 more times!

They got valuable information from my mother and I want to find these folks! I reported them every where I can think of.

These people keep calling as early as 8am and as late as 8:30pm. They have been calling for TWO WEEKS at least, and when you answer there is no one on the line. When you call the number, it is just a voice mail saying you've reached customer care leave a message. STOP CALLING US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This morning at 8:18 am woke me up went to bed at 3 after working 3-11 shift...have asked repeatedly to stop calling and they wont. Unbelievable!

THEY HAVE BEEN CALLING CONSTANTLY- The Co. is "National Congress Employees Association". The person on the other end of all my calls is a man named "Frank Cooper", and his ID# is 11484. He first told me that he can give me a gas card, but he will need the number of any credit or debit card. I told him I was born at nite but not last nite, he got mad, o-well.when I search the web I found a web site for dental insurance "essentialdentalsolutions.com"
and an enrollment form at this site "essentialdentalsolutions" . The still call and yes its Asian-type accent guy (Frank) so since my 4 year old likes to talk when frank calls she talks to him about barrbies and tea parties, but he doesnt stay on the line as lons as he did with me.

I performed a Google search while on the line.. I told him that organization didn't exist and asked for a website address.... silence ....

Thinking of reporting this # to the AZ Atty General's office this week for harrasment as they call several times every day and hangup and do not heed requests to remove # from their calling lists.

This Asian-type accent guy started offering... God knows what, I didn't pay too much attention to him, and I said to him: "Thank you, but I am not interested" and then he said the typical: "How could you be Not interested in something you don't know...etc", and I said: "Sorry, I am not interested." And he was insisting, then I said, "OK, do you have anyone who speaks spanish?"(My native language),because it is hard for me to understand your accent", then he said, among other things..."F**k you", and I laughed at him! I was shocked! I said: What!!!!???, he said: Did you understand me?, - Yes!, I did, I said You know what,... I have caller ID and I have your number, your Boss is going to know about this, He said...- "My dad is the Boss..." Oh my God! that was Hilarious!...Anyway, he acused me of not beeing "Polite" to him and his Telemarketing phone call! And I said: "Are you telling me that, by telling you that I am not interested, I was impolite with you, and you sending me to F**k my self was polite!!!!
HE SAID YES!!!!!!! I said to him: " You are UNBELIEVABLE!!!!.
Anyway, to make a long story short he ended hanging the phone on me!

I have received multiple calls from these two numbers 480-543-1189 480-543-1187 they are both in SPANISH!!! From the same person i presume I've asked them to stop calling and they mutter something in English that I can't even understand! Whoever they are they are calling from PHOENIX, AZ. They call at 11pm 3pm 7am, etc. When you call them back the recording says: WELCOME TO CUSTOMER CARE PLEASE LEAVE YOUR NAME AND PHONE NUMBER WITH A BRIEF NOTE. THANK YOU. (ALSO WITH A SPANISH ACCENT) Crazy! Harassment!

When I answered, someone was singing tunelessly over and over. After a bit the person finally began to speak and said that my number had been selected by Sprint for a special offer. I told them that I wasn't interested and hung up.

I have repeatedly told this number to stop calling me, but they still call everyday. When I answer no one will say anything.

I just got a call from this number and it was obviously a SCAM. They stated that they were
from SPRINT and wanted to offer me a new phone for free. As soon as I told them that I would not give them any information regarding my account they hung up. Be careful.

They've been calling me several times per day for the last few days and hangs on the line for 20-30 seconds with nobody there before hanging up.

Calls come several times a day. Caller ID either shows Offer P or Phoenix, Arizona.
They never leave a message. When I call the number back I get a recording that the number is not in service.

I told them to STOP calling at all hours several times a day and then hung up, but they continue to call whenever they want. When I see the number, I just don't answer, but I want them to stop calling.

When I told them to please stop calling, they said they weren't selling anything so they could call all they want. I repeated, PLEASE STOP CALLING and hung up.
