When these clowns call, answer the phone, "Bank of America, how may I help you today?". Hilarity ensues...

Do not leave a message, silence, long enough for tele-marketer to get credit for making the call, but not giving a name so you can not report them.

They said they were Bank of America making a courtesy call to thank us for our business. I told them we don't have any accounts w/ B of A. She said we had a checking account. I will follow up w/ Bank of America to make sure someone didn't open up an account in our name. When I tried to call back the number that came up on caller ID, (469--201-7025, "This number is disconnected or no longer in service."

FIA Card SERvices, When ANSWERED THEY HANG UP. 1 OR 2 CALLS EVERY DAY, Belived to be Subsidery of Bank of America.

Pretended that is from Bank of America and tried to offer a credit card for my wife. Luckly, I answer the phone and the"lady" with a strong indian accent said that she wants with my wife. I asked her what is the call about and she said that have to read the "disclosure statement" for my wife for the new credit card. Then she said that is with Bank of America. I told her that my CID says different and asked kindly that any offer she has to put in the mail. Since this moment became more agressive and a louder tone like yelling. Anyway was very hard to understand everything she said. I intend to go to Bank of America and make a complaint. If BoA will not take any measures I will close for real my accoyunt with them.
Do not get fooled by this guys. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO!!!

I have received a call from 469-2016025 daily for the last week or so, and even before I started paying attention to the number. I never answer, and they never leave a message. It's really annoying because I have an unlisted private number and don't know how they got my number. Can anybody do anything???

I also received calls from (216) 545-8326. They never leave a message.

I forgot to add that I do not have an account with them and never have had one with them!

Received a call from this number with a message and my first name to call back at 1-800-842-3019 ext. 28882 and ask for Cristella (sp?). I did and she asked for my phone number which I gave. Then stated that no account showed up with that and could she have my social security number I then asked her what the name of the company was and she stated FIA Card Services. And then she said she needed to at least have my full name. I told her that I would not give her any info because for all I know it could be a scam at which she promptly replied, "have a good day" and hung up. Last month they called my number and asked for someone else and when I told them they had the wrong number they tried to get more info out of me. I told them I was on the do not call list and that they were phishing at which they hung up on me.

Here's an idea:
1) You can report this number to the AT&T annoyance call bureau at 1-800-348-8727. If enough people call and complain, AT&T has got to do something about it - though I just called and they said I have to deal with it through my own carrier's annoyance call bureau (I'd call AT&T anyway- then your own phone company)
2) Call these inconsiderate idiots (FIA) BACK! - dial *67 before their number to hide your own number, call back, get a real person - and tell them what you think of their illegal, annoying, harassing tactics. If enough people do this, I imagine eventually they'll get the message.

I actually got a call from this FIA place. Turns out it was regarding an account I had with BOA. I had to ask several times who they were because i had never heard from them...then they informed me it was about a credit card...one that i had. i just didnt recognize FIA. Anyway, not a scam, i made a payment after verifying with BOA first. The payment posted to my account without problems. There IS alot of scam out there, but i did my "homework" and this particular one is real...sorry to disapoint!

This is a total scam!! They threaten you and ask for your bank info and begin by phone check withdrawing funds.....

Work for BOFA and also a manager didn't know that this was from FIA card services. They didn't even address their automated machines with the company. I hope this isn't a scam. I will report to our corporate security dept at Bofa in the morning. Hopefully not too many more people will get these harrassing calls.

I've been getting calls from this number everday, sometimes three times a day, for the last three weeks. I finally answered and they asked to speak to my husband. Said they were representing Bank of America. I told them my husband was not home and we were not interested and did not want to be called anymore. The girl on the phone argued with me and told me I was not able to tell them not to call because they weren't calling for me. (Funny how they were calling my house, on the phone number that I pay the bill for though.) Anyway, I called the number back tonight and got put on hold before being connected to a man on a cell phone? with horrible reception. He asked for my account number without saying who he was or why they kept calling my house. Then when I questioned his being on a cell phone he hung up on me. I called Bank of America as we do have accounts with them and although they recognized the FIA card service name that appeared on my caller i.d. with the number, they said it was not them calling me. This is a scam to steal your identity!

This number is actually a credit card service company. They are not affiliated with one particular company. They are basicallya middle man for many companies, such as AMEX, Mastercard, Chase and BoA. They call to promote more services, offer new cards, transfer balances, etc. Best thing to do, just don't pick up, they will call but will never leave a message.

Call every night between 7:00 and 8:00. I just let the machine get it and they never leave a message.

My mother got a call from this number tonight - on her cell phone. Didn't make it to the phone in time to answer, but this number showed in the missed calls list. BoA sucks anyways, the only bank I know that charges you on top of the ATM fee for using someone else's ATM.

This call I got was from Bank of America. They not only send me monthly offers in the mail but also call me on the phone to offer me an 8.99% rate for balance transfers. They currently have me now at a 24.99% rate on what I owe them but will not lower that rate. What a racket they have going. I am being robbed and for some strange reason it is not against the law. What a great country we live in. NOT!!!

These people have been calling me on my cell phone almost every day for the past 2 weeks or so, they never leave a message, the other day when I called them back, the person that answers simply asks me for my account number, and I told her i didnt have one with their company, so she proceded to ask me for my social security (supposedly to find my account)...I said there's no way i'm giving u anything. Finally i asked her to remove me off of their list, she really didn't want to, FINALLY she said she would...but now i'm still getting calls from them....where do we stand, is there anything that can be done?

This is a credit card service company, be wary of it.

The action they took was to change their number to 469-201-7025. It appears in Caller ID as "F Ia Card Services". If it really is BoA, I hope they loose a lot of money making all these phone calls to answering machines, but I guess they'd just increase some banking fees to make up for it. Not mine though. I don't bank with them.

I see this number on my caller id every 2 hours ever since I got approved for one of the B of A credit cards. I don't pick up the phone. It started annoying me and i called back to know what these jerks want from me. A guy picks up the phone, and the first thing he asks is my SSN. I can't believe it. I have reported this number to FCC and B of A, hopefully they will take some action.

Call was on caller ID. I do have a BOA/FIA card. I will assume it's them trying to sell me something.

Caller from this number said she was from Bank America.

Got a call from the number and the young lady said she was offering a balance transfer at 1% interest and capped transaction fee at $75. Sounded too good to be true, so I asked her to call back later. Wanted to call B of A myself. Of course, she never called back. I just googled the number and found this website. Nothing but scam-artists.

On my caller ID as FIA Card Svcs - I called B of A 2 weeks ago requesting to be taken off thier telemarketing list - I'm still getting calls - I sent customer service an email - they replied it takes 30 days to be in effect. It seems funny how everything can be automated and instantanious today exept getting off a call list.

It's Bank Of America. I recently signed up for a BOA credit card and started getting these calls. I called back the number and they said they had no idea why I would be getting calls from that number.

Called the BOA main credit card number at 1.800.732.9194 and opted out of all telemarketing.

Sure it isn't someone from India!!!!!!!!!!!

Received many calls from name/number on the caller ID was TEXAS 469-201-6025.
I had to pick this one up, it was a woman who asked for me by name and said her computer just went down and said to call back at 800 711-4517.

When I asked what the nature of the call was she said she was from Bank of America and tha call was about making balance transfers.

I do have an account with B of A and I called them, they said that do not make phone calls for balance transfers and an official report has been made about this SCAM.

Just got a call from a woman the number registered on the caller ID as TEXAS 469-201-6025 asking for my husband and said for him to call another number 800-711-4517 she said was from Bank of America and hung up...??

Left message that I could decrease my credit card interest rate, time was running out and I need to return the call.

I got a call from this number 469-291-6025. All the Caller ID says is "Dallas TX". The person left no message.

Is my cell phone and the law said no comercial at the cell ..More than that the call is after 8:30 PM..

becky i had the same thing happen to me for about a week straight. i called to have my number removed from this call list and that same nite at 8:54 and again at 8:55 pm they called again and i am sorry but i am really upset

Someone called from Texas that's what it said on the caller id. The phone number was 469-201-6025. I really want you to find out who this is.
