Message received on Verizon cell phone that has a limited number distribution. Recorded message in spanish and then disconnect.

This call came to a TracFone prepaid cell phone, the number of which I have given no one. TracFones are often used by Mexicans because of great international calling plans and TracFone's Mexican ownership. The caller uses a T-Mobile cell phone in Bedford OH (per 411.com and Anywho.com) and speaks Spanish (per 800Notes.com). If you pay intelius.com $14.95, the website claims it will tell you who owns this wireless number.

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
  3. Block them with a call blocker:
