According to talking to the person, they are from Ministry of Master Media. Website is mastermediaintl.org. Asking for donations. Asked how he got number and he said they are just calling a mixture of numbers. He did state he was calling from Utah after I asked. His direct number is 801-263-8555. Just FYI

I was doing some research on internet because I have been getting these calls also.........and I ran across this site! Thank goodness they are not just harrassing me! I was begining to think it was a stalker..lol! Has anyone figured out who this company is and how they got our CELL PHONE numbers..........???

How can we stop them from doing this I am so frustrated because dumb me when it comes up unknown I answer thinking maybe its important or emergency call from family......but NOPE...then its taking up my minutes!!! Please contact me if you have figured out what to do or if your still getting these calls because I am determained to figure out who this is so I can call them and tell them to TAKE ME OFF THEIR CALL LIST!!!!!!

Company selling films will pay $70,000 over No Call complaints in agreement obtained by Nixon

St. Louis, Mo. — Two companies that market and sell films will pay $70,000 to the state of Missouri and develop a detailed plan to ensure future compliance with the state's No Call law according to a settlement secured today by Attorney General Jay Nixon.

The assurance of voluntary compliance, filed today in St.Louis City Circuit Court, was the result of a lawsuit Nixon filed in March against Feature Films For Families Inc. of Murray, Utah, and the Dove Foundation of Grand Rapids, Mich., alleging the companies conspired in a scheme to evade state No Call laws. Telemarketers from the Dove Foundation claimed its status as a charitable organization provided them with an exemption to the Missouri No Call law. In reality, the Dove Foundation was using that status to solicit sales for Feature Films For Families, a for-profit organization that sells DVDs and videos. The Attorney General's No Call unit recovered almost 300 complaints about the calls.

“Companies such as these that look for new ways to circumvent our No Call law are another illustration of how effective our Missouri law is,” Nixon said. “We always have been, and will continue to be, vigilant in protecting Missouri's consumers from unwanted telemarketers and will swiftly take action when there is a violation of the law.”

According to the agreement, the Dove Foundation and Feature Films For Families must pay $70,000 to the state Merchandising Practices Revolving Fund and obey all merchandising practices and No Call laws in the future. The respondents must also provide the Attorney General's Office with a detailed plan of practices and procedures they will implement in their businesses to ensure compliance with the state No Call law. They have also agreed to subscribe to, and remain current with, the Missouri No Call database.

Any future violation of the agreement by the respondents could result in contempt of court proceedings and civil penalties of up to $2,000 per violation.

They called my cell phone 4 days in a row at least. i did not answer but instead did the reverse number lookup. I tried to call them back, but their mailbox was full. I have T-Mobile and live in Sarasota. The odd thing is that my two co-workers who have Alltel received the same call to their cell phones whithin 30 seconds of one another. when asked hpow they got the number, they said they just picked random numbers. This is definately some sort of scam.

Also with Sprint and in Florida. Interesting question are any of you educators or have families that are? Just wondering if this is the start from the Joe Chandler guy who bought all the information from School boards.

im in fl they called me twice

Have called twice around 955am; didn't answer both times and a voicemail was not left. I have AT&T and am in Bradenton, Fla

I'm in Florida and they've called me twice now! It's crazy how it's spreading. And twice, when they called, no one answered my hello. I don't know what's going on- but it's quite irritating with them wasting my minutes!

Several calls in the last week from this number, no messages. Have also tried to call back & get message that mailbox is full. I'm with AT&T and am from Bradenton, FL. One of my friends here in town has also received calls from this number, at least 3 last week.

I am with Alltel and received a call. Because I didn't recognize the number I didn't answer, and they left no message.

I am with Alltel in sarasota and they have called me every day for a week now, at various times too.

i got a call today while in class pissed of my proffesor and i tried to call back and it said it was full. i live in florida and have sprint.

Called today at 10:44 AM. Have Sprint in Florida. I picked up and immediately was hung up on when I said hello.

Have received about 6-8 calls from this number. Did not answer and they don't leave a message. I too am in Florida (with Sprint) and I have no idea how they got my number.

Called my cell twice in Florida, both in the morning. Let's form a posse and string em up !

Is anyone with T-mobile that is receiving calls from this number? It seems to me all calls are coming in on cell phones both mine and my daughters. And everyone resides in Florida that I have been reading on other report sites. Trying to figure out what the scam is? I have received calls from this number all week long. We did try to call back once and mailbox was full.

Received three calls: 1/28 at 11:22 am, 1/29 at 11:58 am, 1/30 at 5:59 pm. Missed the first call and answered the last two calls. Frustrating.

Called me at 8 in the morning for free movie tickets or something. Not happy to see my cell phone is now victim of telemarketers.

Called about the movie and wanted to offer me free movie pass. The called on my wife's cell on Jan 27th and my phone on Jan 28th, both phones are cell phones. I didnt ask them how I got my numbers but it was disturbing to know someone is selling the cell phone list
