How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

These A%^holes will keep calling, just like all the other A%^holes. You either mow them down or they mow you down. It IS a competition!!!!! They have a margin of approx. 3%. If you spend the time to waste their time (by keeping them on the line without committing to anything for an indeterminate amount of time), they will eventually stop calling. I actually had a couple of folks calling me back to argue (bonus points!!!!). Screw with them hardcore! Tell them that their Cu&t needs a washin'! Things smell funny! Tell them that they should hold on for a minute longer (if you have the time). Like any bum that asks you for money, tell them to run around in traffic and then walk off. If you have no financial obligation, you will be having 100% good times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:):):):):) Like a childhood dream come true!
I'll give them credit. They whoever they are. Daily calls starting at 8:01am...just about every 45 minutes. Yes, I am in debt as a result of divorce. Tell me who you are calling for--what company and I'll tell you, not you tell me, what I can afford to send!
Calling everyday, When you answer a message tells you to hold they the line disconnects.
I do have a Dell account. It is late on payment. But there is no reason for them to call me at 8 am and every hour after that. All week it has been like this. Next time they call I will answer and tell them I am calling the better businness bureau. Don't they know people are late on payments because of various reasons. Health etc... I have never been late first time. Geez they are freaking me out!
They call and call and call but will not say when you answer what company they are collecting for...I feel like saying take my money and watch the bank refuse to pay.
This company keeps calling my house. I told them i would have my mother call them when she got home (she was out of town) they said im sorry we will not stop calling until we talk to her.

Someone named 'Ms. Kelly' left a message (mentioning my name) saying that I needed to call her so that we can go ahead with the plans we made. I have never spoken to a Ms. Kelly or made plans with anybody. When I returned the call a woman said that it was Dell and needed to collect payment. I do have a Dell account and have been late getting payments in but this sounded fishy to me since I've never made 'plans' with anyone- and I have heard about scams and did not give any info.
