belongs to a credit counseling company, uses the hang up to get a return call. This method is used to evade the National Do Not Call Registry issue. "They can't get in trouble if you call them."

Called me and ID was the Phone number its self and hung up on me.
When you call the number you get an automated recording, it says if you press 1 you can get your number removed.

There was silence on the the other end of the line. Eventually, the call disconnected from the other end in about 5 seconds.
When I answered the phone no one was there. My guess is that it is a bill collector calling from a private line as I ignore the calls from 800 numbers
this is a scam also shows up as (evergreen on caller ID) they try to get personal info you can report them to several different web sites so other people donot get scamed
