SAME COMPANY CALLING ME...MULTIPLE TIMES. I DO HAVE A HOME DEPOT ACCT AND HAVE BEEN TRYING LIKE CRAZY TO PAY THE SUCKER OFF! IT'S DIFFICULT WHEN ONLY ONE IN THE HOUSEHOLD IS EMPLOYED! I'M CLOSE TO PAYING IT OFF AND B.T.W. ...I WILL NEVER OPEN AN ACCT WITH THEM AGAIN ONCE THIS IS DONE!!! FURTHER MORE..I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING MAJOR FROM HOME DEPOT. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!! THEY HARDLY WOULDN'T EVEN DISCUSS THE BAD LAWN MOWER I PURCHASED FROM THEM!IT WASN'T EVEN A YEAR OLD...AND ONE ONLY USES LAWN MOWERS PART OF THE YEAR ANYWAY! they call all day and never leave a message,i dont know what they want and dont want to find out,i just wish they would stop calling.

I am getting 6-8 calls a day 7 days a week from this number. They won't leave a message; so I hsve started hitting phone and off. It is extremely frustrating!

they call every half hour I our $10.00 on my account and they never sent me a bill when the bill came again after requsting another one they still call me every half hour. I will never buy anything from Home Depot again. Never!

These "automated" people have been calling my numer for months. All hours of the day & night, 7 days a week. (Braking all of the telemarkers rules) They have the wrong number & I have told them so, before they just started leaving voicemails (using up my minutes). I have sent this company an email but have heard nothing back from them. My name is not LB & I have never owned a Citibank nor Home Depot account. I don't even own any credit cards, for that matter. Such idiots!

I have received an automated call from this number and business for 3 days in a row at least 6 times a day. They have the wrong number, but in order to report this information you have to hang on, go through all the options etc. and then talk to a live person. Yesterday I reported ( very pissed about the whole thing) that they have the wrong number, again they call this morning. WRONG FREAKIN NUMBER!

Home Depot... Collecting my late payment

I started getting these calls too but didnt answer because I didnt recognize the number and I haven't been late on any bills so thought it was a sells person. I was about to block the number when I looked it up online. Got this site and saw that it could possibly be collections and then I saw home depot mentioned. I never use my card so I thought it must ne a scam. Then I signed into my acct to check it which I haven't done since december and saw that I was overdue on payment. That was a surprise to me -- I had a balance of $18.00 -- guess the hubby used the card in March for something small and forgot to tell me. So I am glad that number kept calling me -- I would have found out a long time from now with a bunch of late fees to pay. Luckily they didnt charge me any late fees yet. So I believe this is a legitimate number of collections from citibank. Make sure you aren't late on a card (any citibank) card not just home depot. Or maybe if you had one a long time ago, they are trying to get the money owed.

Started calling on Sunday Morning, called all day. We were not home. Called before 9AM on Monday, which I thought was against the law.

I've been getting calls from this CCS, which I ignored, but after reading this blog, I decided to answer when they, of curse, called this morning. I got the "please hold", and then a very pleasant lady came on, asking for the person who used to have this number (even tho I've had it for over 4 years) about my Home Depot account. I explained that I was not that person (without stating my name) but I knew from occasional calls that they had had this number, and I did not have a Home Depot account. She apologized very nicely, and said they would take my number off their call list.

I think this site is a great and valuable service, and I would like to thank whoever started it for a brilliant idea well executed!!!!!!

Caller claims to be Citi Commerce Solutions collecting a debt for Home Depot and tells me that I owe $25...but I know otherwise, and I also confirmed with Home Depot that I owe NOTHING. They continue to call on a daily basis at least 6 times a day. When I ask them to send me a BILL, they ask for my date of birth and my address!! I have yet to receive a bill because it is a SCAM! DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION!!

Related to Home Depot/Citi bank for a home depot credit card. They call every 2 hours or so! We are in tough financial situation I have nothing more I can tell them yet they continue to call atleast 6 or more times a day.

Just answer the call. If you don't have an account your number will be removed. If you are only a few days late aren't you glad you didn't go 30 days with an additional late fee.

Calls every day even on Sunday at least 7x day. I tried to talk to a live person but all they have is a robot. I thought it was against the law now to have robocalls, that is had to be live people.

Person asked for me by name and I asked who's calling and they hung up, checked caller ID and put Citi Commerce on look up on internet.

Received call from this number. When I did a reverse search it said unpublished number from Midway (Washington) TN. Caller Id said Citi Commerce. Lady said call was in regard to late home depot payment and offered to set up special payment plan. Offered to allow payment of $50 per month provided home depot account was closed and we give her routing number to allow payment to come out of account.
Scary. Is this genuine or a scam? My husband was laid off from his job in Feb and finances are tough.

I don't have home depot credit card, but I received the call from this number at least 5 times a day, about one month ago. If they have the guts to harass me, they should have the decency to have a real person to talk to me instead of leaving me the automated message. I have my home phone number for over three years, and I have never had this problem before. It is very disturbing!!!

19 calls from this number on caller ID. A week ago I was home when they called and went through the long recorded message and responded to the option indicating they had reached the wrong number, they continue to call.

This number has called 9 times in 6 days and I don't know how many times before that because I deleted some last week.
I do not have a home depot card and a couple of times they said to stay on the line for assistance but no one ever comes on so I can tell them to stop calling. The other times, they just hang up. The calls are very disturbing when you are a caretaker of an elderly person and a small toddler and the phone wakes them.
While typing this, i just got another call. WOW! A real person finally said something to me. They said it was about a credit card in the name of some person I have never heard of!!!! I said "Please stop calling and as we speak, I am reporting this number for harrassment" His reply "Certainly" hahahahaha Guess we shall see......

I made a payment last month on time but it did not post because of time zone(late by 5 mins. was told) had to get on road so called told rep. that it would not let me post today and was told to do express pay for 14.00 and cancel other. Told I was on road and he said when get statement call and they would remove over limit which they did. So @ first of month I scheduled a payment for due date and now they said that it did not show up. Did not write down conf.# but had wrote down on my pay scales that I scheduled a payment. Now they raised interest to 29.99 instead of 26.99 which I have been complaining about for awhile now. I think when they changed web pg something happened? Has this happen to anybody else. I told them that would pay but it needs to at least go back to where is was @.

Looks like another round of stupid, misguided calls to people who don't even have their card. I've received calls from this number repeatedly this month. Will be looking into getting it stopped soon.

Further Info - found an article that Carol Tome - CFO for Home Depot, was deeply involved in the Citi arrangement. I get her secretary but I called-800-654-0688, hit zero, and say "Carol Tome" (pronounced Toe May) and let the assstant know. I am sure many of you would like to let her know your feelings too.

I left messages for Ted Decker and Marc Powers. Tried the Exec VPs and they have a screener handling those calls.

The idea is to get them to see that their vendor (CITI) is engaged in telephone harassment and get them to pressure CITI to stop. I have also made a complaint on the do not call registry (donotcall.gov) and will shortly make a complaint at the federal trade commission site (ftccomplaintassistant.gov) I encourage you all do the same. We will stop them!

I am being harassed by about 7-8 calls/day and I NEVER HAD a Home Depot card. I finally got someone on the line and they said they would remove my number but that has not happened.

I have called and not git though,I was at home Thrusday night at 8:12 on 06/04/2009 , I answered the telephone I could not hear any one on the telephone,I said hello four times if they can not talk do not call .I am trying to take care of them ,the can not hear good and both are in there 80's with cancer and other health candison. So it hard to get me on the telephone.

Same problem here, I was one day late the month I had my baby and when I called for the May due date it gave me my normal amount (which I still paid a little over) & they have been calling here and at work for almost 2 weeks now (it also comes thru as 972-655-5216) I paid another payment on Saturday morning (2 weeks after I made the regular May payment) and got the bill Sat. afternoon with a due date of 6/20. I can understand if I was months late but a day or two late, making 2 payments in one month and the bill says the min due is due the end of June not IMMEDIATLY. Next time they call I may answer and speak my mind and hang up before they can get a word in. how's this sound "Yes, I know I was a day late in April, I had baby the week the bill was due, so sue me. Furthermore I made 2 payments in May and the new bill I got said my late fee and min for June are due by the 20th and because of the harassment you will have your money on the due date and not a minute sooner.

This is happening in Louisiana. This citi commercial home depot caller has harassed us for a week. My bill is NOT overdue. It was paid two weeks ago and we pay more than owed each time and the new due date isn't until 6/3. When the calls come in, it leaves our phone off the hook as if we had pushed flash for call waiting. A new caller gets an endlessly ringing phone. My mother is seriously ill and we have not received emergency calls due to this situation. We are closing our home depot account. I am also in touch with a lawyer because of the phone problems they are causing. If they are calling you, check to see if the call is messing up your phone and you don't know it.

Harassing me 24/7, 7 days a week from 8AM until 9PM - no message - unknown caller - if they want something that bad, why do they not leave a message. This has become very annoying and NEEDS TO STOP!!!!!!

Someone from this number called us FOUR times on SUNDAY, Mother's Day, starting at 11:AM and ending at 6:PM. Left a very "hostile" sounding message about how we MUST call them back, etc. but NEVER identified why we should "call them immediately." They also never identified themselves! I don't call people that behave this way.

I got a call from this number I finally was home to answer the call,they ask if this is (my first name ) I said yes and man hung up on me, that was it..

1AM calls no person on other end just "please continue holding" I no longer answer this number & they will not leave a message.

Two calls within an hour from Tennessee. Supposed to be Home Depot, but this company has always contacted me from their HQ in Florida. A payment was made at the Home Depot location a mile from home last week, so it is pretty certain that the account is not in arrears.

it's citi for home depot. I've made two payments online using their site (and on time) over the last two billing cycles. They appear to have a major malfunction with their website as payments are not posting but have been taken out of my account. Now, it's my responsiblity to "prove" that to them!

This is a legit call regarding your home depot account. Unfortunately you need to answer the call to hear the message. I posted a payment to my Home Depot credit card account that never made it to them and they were calling me non-stop and not leaving a message. When I found info on this site, I accessed my account online and noticed the late payment amount. After resolving the issue I mentioned to the CSR that their collections number was not leaving messages. THIS IS NOT A SCAM.

They call every day, four or five times a day. If you answer, they ask for your name, but won't tell you who they are before you verify that you are who they are calling for. If you refuse to answer their questions until they tell you who they are, they ignore you asking them who they are and repeat themselves. If you ignore their call, they hang up when they get your voicemail or leave a voicemail that says: "hello. hello. hello?" and then hang up. They even started calling other members of my family that I don't even live with and they do the same thing to them. They ignored my family's requests to never be called again at that number. The number they called that was my family members was never even on my account. So obviously they are going through the phonebook of something. I'm assuming all of this because I was literally a couple days late on a f-ing payment.... I am guessing, because I STILL don't know who this was harassing me.

Got a call from this land line number. The address is way out on a farm in Tennessee. It appears to be someone calling from a house. May not be legit.

They called my cell phone @ 8:10am for the past 3 days and no message left. I can't make out the person's name when I answered the call. After pressing [0], their operator verified my name and last 2 digits of SSN# and confirmed that my information doesn't match the person that they are looking for. They then identified as Citi Corp and it was about a "Home Depot" credit card. It might have been a typo on their records & their phone number is 866-657-4032.

Most commentors got it right- it's an auto-call service related to the financial 'bird-dogs' at Citi-Bank credit- the ones who put out the Home Depot, RadioShack and other 20% interest accounts... Don't answer if you don't want to be hassled- or tell them you'd paid and not to call back.

When I activated this phone number the first day with att, I received this call at least 10 time during one week along with another number from a company. I wasn't stupid because I have not given this number to any of my friends or anyone period. Once your credit is gone, I suggest u get a new phone number because it will eat your ur minute quick. I never pick up the phone only add it to my contact as to not pick up. I have a new number but now I will used up all my minutes. goodluck, please don't use this number for atleast another year so u don't get a credit collector or something, change your number immediately! POSTED DATED ON JANURARY 1, 2008. IF U have an automated dialer jammed their fucken system and thanks to the dead fool that didn't pay their bill on time.

Its an automated system for Home Depot. They are just part of the clueless incompetent business called credit. Even if you don't have a Home Depot card they will call whatever number is on the list for the rest of your life. When you want to tell them you don't have a card and stop they want all your details...which of course has nothing to do with the wrong number they keep calling. Welcome to the future.

Perhaps if everyone put the wrong number or old cel phone on their applications the world would realize how retarded this system is. Try and figure out how to stop them from calling. Change your number and you have no idea how many calls you will get on your new cel number.

Called my cell number. Never leaves a message. I called back and got a Citbank / Home Depot collection agent as well. I have an account that is 10 days late payment. Unbelievable after 10 days they start calling.

I periodically see this number on my cell phone and the calls are made in the middle of a week day. My son called it back and got a person who said something about both "citi" and Home Depot. The person first asked if I had a home depot card. I said I had one years ago. They hten asked for the number to look it up and see what the issue was. I said I didn't remember and then they asked for my social Security Number.

At that point I ended the call.

This is Citibank Collections. Want to get rid of them? Call (866)458-7618 and tell them that you do not have a Citibank card or a Home Depot card or any late charge card that is owned by Citibank and they will take you off their auto-dialer. Just press the "Language" key prompt and wait through the rest of the prompts and someone will answer. Done.

This is Citibank. They hold the accounts for Home Depot and other stores. They use an auto-dialer to call the number on the credit appplication. They don't check if it's correct or current - they just call it. When you answer the phone and the computer cannot find a free collection agent, you get a recorder. If the recorder is busy you get a hangup. They are not concerned about your inconvenience. They are only concerned about keeping their collection agents on the phone all the time. This is a huge network of credit card scamers, I have been traking them for moths, they will claim to be several diferent places: here is a list of names they use; Kay bank, financial services, alied collections and international conections.

they work out of; Panama, costa rica, Florida, arizona, ontario canada, south korea and india.

Here in Pittsfield, MA, got the call Weds, July 18, 2007. I have zero Citibank credit cards, or Home Depot. Only CC I have is a MasterCard with Pulaski Bank and I pay it early every month. I suspect that my phone number, which is pretty new from Vonage, used to belong to a deadbeat. I get misdirected collection calls a few times a week. Yes it makes me cranky ;) I would by happy to pay Vonage extra to have blocking ability on specific numbers...

These people are calling about collecting a debt that ive never had a from a company that rejected my last credit application with them so I went with another company. My credit report has nothing from them, so I know its not ID theft, its simple incompetence.

It's not home depot it is a collection agency working for home depot's line of credit. I spoke to customer service and explained that I do not even have a home depot line of credit and that they have the wrong number. I also explained to them that this was my cell phone. Since then they have stopped calling. Just be polite to them and they will stop calling if you ask them to. However, if you are late on your payment, just pay them!

We have gotten calls from this number many times. First of all if you are one day late making a payment on your HOME DEPOT card they are calling. Now correct me if I am wrong ... but we live in Mississippi and we speak English. When They called my wife's cell phone she could understand a word the machine was saying because it was so slow. Then When she called the number back she got a guy from India trying to speak english with a accent. She handed me the phone then he got rude with me when I asked to speak with someone who could speak ENGLISH. Guess what I got his supervisor and she was just as bad as he was. We cut our Home Depot card up and dropped it off at the service desk at thier Tupelo, MS. store. Do not need the trouble.

I have never been late on my Homepot payment. This one time I was. I called and told them it was late buy 1 day. They told me not to worry about the late fee. Being the first time in 6 years. This number has called me over the past week about 2 times a day. I missed the first call, looked the number up on the Internet, and found this site and its info. I'm about to tell them off the next time.

Just got 2 calls twice today, no message left either, don't plan on answerin until they leave a message stating who they are.

I believe it is a Home Depot Credit Card number

no this is not spamme...this is a collection agency, along with other # such as 800-842-1795, 800-834-9011,716-526-0080, and so on..now a real quick who done it..we moved from and different state where we had the same # for almost 20 years..now we have been in this house for almost 5 years with this new # since we moved in..the person that had this # must have gotten into money trouble or is just making up a #, but we have been getting calls for Michelle since we got this #..I have never experienced this crap my entire life..

This # has called around 8AM for the past several mornings and never leaves a message. It's getting pretty annoying, especially on Sat when we're sleeping in.

This is outragous! they call me at all different times. 5 calls a day is not uncommon! just because i was late 1 month for a home depot card! -pissed off!

I've been getting calls from this number all week. They call my home and when I don't answer that, they call my cell within 5 seconds of hanging up from the home phone. Argh! I'm on the Do Not Call registry (both lines), but they don't seem to get the hint!

This seems to be the ruthless, heartless, leg breaking, division of Citi Bank. I get a call from this number if they recieve my payment a day late!!!!!! They call 3 times a day and I answer all! most hang up on me. I have had them call me and when I call right back, they tell me that division is closed and they don't know why I got a call. "maybe someone left the autodialer on" was on response! If i could liken this to the Mafia (which I would be safe) they would be the two big goons that come and beat you up until you pay! I thought there were some laws on harrasment, apparantly they don't have to abide by them.

they call me many times a day. I will reward the management decision to do this to me by cancelling my card and get a balance transfer from another card to pay it off. Pain be gone!! :-)

I changed my # with HD to see if the calls stop. It looks like it's an auto calling system (computer) that takes the #s & cycles thru' them & when they get a live person, drops it to a call center for processing. (having worked in a non-collection style call ctr my self) That type of call ctr is contracted out & unfortunately given access to information that you'd really fret over giving out to some stranger.
The price of having credit. (btw-the ad from Google on this page reads "Citi Card Online Payment" how conwinki is that? LOL)

I've received two calls on my cell from this number. Since I didn't recognize as a known number or area code for that matter, I let it go. Caller didn't leave voicemail either time. When I called this number back, they claimed to be CitiCard for Home Depot account...nice! Leave a message next time or you're not legit. in my book!!

They have been calling me three times a day every single day with no messages at all. My caller ID said it is from Kingston, TN. No messages at all.

Turns out, Citibank was not trying to call me and I reported the number and the event to their fraud department.

These people are complete frauds who call numerous times without any information. They ask for payment by check over the phone but do not have any real offices. They are number phishers and should be ignored.

its a constant thing. they call my phone minimum 20 times a day, but don't have the guts to leave a message. and when u do answer. i act like i am not home. they ask for my wife. she isn't even on my account. why the heck would i allow her to access it anyway. inconsiderate fools.

Called once by this number on Feb 2 at 11:06 am. Caller ID said Citi Commerce.
I don't answer calls from toll free numbers. If they have business with me, they can send it snail mail.

My account IS NOT delinquent with Home Depot. They're "no payments for 6 months" promotion is screwed up and they keep calling even though no payment is due AND I already talked to them. Pathetic!

This is a call from home depot credit services. If you don't pay your payment on the day due. They will continually call your phone 5 to 6 times a day until you make your payment. To me this is harassment. I mean one day late and you are going to harass me. As soon as I pay this balance off I will be cancelling this card.

It is Home Depot, called me 5 times because I was 7 days late...COME ON! We got the machine, too, but he was patient enought to listen to the whole thing.

These calls are debt collection calls from CitiCard, which provides re-branded "department store credit cards" to various stores.

just listened to the first voicemail after several calls that have been made to my cell phone, said it was from Citi Bank in regards to my Zales account. I know I am late on the payment so that is definitely what its about, I'm 99% positive about that.

These are Citi-Bank affiliated collections...IE: Home Depot, Radio Shack accts...Paid my late bill and they stopped calling.

On top of that, it was a machine and it put me on hold - they are calling me and putting me on hold on my cell phone. Machine claimed it was calling about my home depot citi card (which I don't have) to get my atention. This is outrageous.

I'm just curious as to who called me, why it was some recording from some company, even though I couldn't hear very well. If it is in fact a company that should not have my number, then I would be inclined to wonder how and why, and get that issue resolved.
