hey i currently work there and regardless of the dnc list if you put your number on anywebsite, anything! job application unemployment anything that has nothing to do with the the dnc list if you dont want calls dont put your number on the internet and its the education authority we are actually trying to help people out by fins colleges that fit there needs at no cost to you! you guys need to lay off the meth and quit being so paranoid this is america all the dnc list is something to make you wierdos shut up

Just because I don't work there anymore doesn't mean I don't remember that if a number you call turns out to be a business, you're supposed to put them on the DNC. But, whoops, no, that's too hard. Following the rules and all that.

Also, fun fact: when I ventured back into this palace of clowns to collect my paycheck, I recognized barely anyone from just a week prior when I was working there. I don't know what great retention rate Joghn is talking about, but it sure ain't at this place. Nice attempt at a joke, though, Joghn.

Hey Realtor, you have to ask us to "put me on your Do Not Call list". We will do it, but only if you have the intellegence to say those magic words. "stop calling me" wont work. BTW you guys do realize that we sit here all day laughing about your complaints.

These people have been calling our business for months - sometimes 4 or 5 times in a row. We have told them repeatedly to stop calling - the continue..... I now simply pick up and immediately hang up on them. so Joghn - you're not doing your job. You've been told to stop the calls.

I have received seven phone calls from this number, six in one day. I know that it isn't a number that I know, so I just let it go to my fax and let it scream in their ear. But they still continued to call, sometimes around 6am, which really annoys me.

Actually talked to woman named Rachelle. This appears to be a call center handling numerous accounts. She asked if I had inquired about upgrading or changing my PC provider to SBC Global. I advised her I couldn't (not available in my state). She then explained anyone who requests info from "free" ads on social networks (YouTube, MySpace, Facebook, etc) are sent to this call center. I asked her to politely take me off her call list, and so far - no further calls. So beware if you request "free" info...

Here's the rundown on these monkeys. They are legit, but only to a degree. They are legit in that they do work for real colleges and some Fortune 500 corporations, etc. BUT it is a very unprofessional, poorly run enviroment. I worked at this hellhole for a few days and promptly quit. I've done sales (not telemarketing, though), and I'm good at it, but those sales are to clients who already posses services, so everyone I talked to in that previous sales job was happy to talk to me and it was enjoyable for both me and the customer.

This Sunrise place is different.

As to how they get your info, they get it from any number of surveys or anything that you've filled out online. (I'm sure other places too). But these guys are ridiculous. Not only are the managers always yelling and making noise (usually about how awesome they are), making it hard to talk to people, they've got loud music on the whole time that makes it virtually impossible for either person on the phone to hear. The supposed "dress code" is not as classy as they like to think it is, either. There were only a couple of managers who took it seriously, even. My last day there, my headset wasn't working. I told two managers about it and they just blew me off and went to do something else. They also avoided my area for a while after that, too.

But the worst is that they have us clock out and sign in late for WORK MEETINGS. Also, their computers suck, so the system is constantly crashing. One afternoon, it was down for, I estimate, a total of around two hours or so. Every time it does, they make us log out so we don't get paid for not being on the phone, even though it is their crappy equipment's fault. One day they had us log out and had us sit through an "extra training" session where they, among other things, told us we should still push their crap on people who have terminal illnesses. This is when I realized that these guys weren't just a bunch of yuppie jackasses (though they are most certainly that), they are also unethical, heartless bastards trying to do whatever they can to make a buck. My last day there, my headset wasn't working. I told two managers about it and they blew me off.

I would put people on the DNC list option if they asked me, but I have a suspicion it just puts you back in the system.

The only reason I accepted the job there is that they told a number of half-lies throughout the interview (they claimed that we would not be cold-calling anyone). So apologies to you all. I am on your side, 100&.

So yeah, hopefully, that clears up some of the mystery. I'll check back soon, so if you have any questions about this asylum, I will be happy to tell you whatever I know.

This company whomever they are have called several times leaving no message. A month ago I had a similar situation the name and number which showed up looked legit however when I did answer the woman on the other end was calling from the Philippines, lousy connection, too much noise in the background etc...

These people call about twice a day. My husband answers the phone & they ask for me by name saying that I orered something on the internet. I never order anything on the internet. He trys to get more info & they just hang up on him. These people need to be held accountable for harrasing people on the phone. This is riduculus.

Identified as AgitationAuthority.com (there had been 3 prior calls from other telemarketers) I stated that this was harassment. The telemarketer hung up.

I did not no/know they where going to call me.

They keep on calling me at all times of the day. You can hear a lot of people talking in the background, but the person on the phone will say who they are in a way you can't understand them, then ask to speak to you. They keep hanging up on me and when I call back, I get an answering machine that I cannot understand the business name of. This is ridiculous.

I just looked the number up on the Better Business Bureau and it gives an entirely different company for this number then what everyone is pulling up on their caller ID, Collins Quality Homes

That is weird though for BBB to turn up one company and for caller ID to pull a different one. I expect the one on BBB probably went out of business and this bunch acquired the number.

I have gotten two calls today from this number. The second was at 8pm tonight. If they are as Johgn says trying to call only businesses then they should know that most owners or managers of said businesses would have gone home by 8pm. I myself don't usually answer my business line after 5pm.

Those of you who have said that this bunch said they were KARK TV, they are likely lieing to ya. Why would a Springfield Missouri Telemarketer be calling you for a Little Rock Arkansas TV Station. If the TV Station was going to use a telemarkter for anything I would think they would actually use someone closer to home then someone in another state.

Got a call at work, saying they were KARK TV.She wanted to talk online advertising. I told her we were not intrested,and she said"How do you know", I answered back, because owner is too busy. She was very rude. She said "We shall see", and hung up.

Calls repeatedly for my young son, says they got his info from a website, but I have no idea which one. They even have our home address. They have called so many times today that a call came through from them on call waiting while I was still speaking to the agent from their previous call. I have asked repeatedly for my son to be removed from their call list, and we are on the do not call list.

I called this organization Sunrise Service Associates at 417-886-7091. I asked the representative who answered the phone what type of organization this was. She informed me that this is an outbound telemarketing service. I told her that I have been recieving calls from them and I am on the Do Not Call List. She apoligized and told me that she would give my number to the IT person and make sure that my number was removed.

I have received several calls from this number in the past few days. Today I finally answered to let whoever know to stop calling. After I said hello the person on the other end hung up. Caller ID says Snrse Svc Assoc.

TO JOGHN, Why are you here? Are you getting paid to be on this site? If your company is legitimate there is no need for you to explain yourself.

When I talked to the guy on the phone he said that he was calling from University Options buy when I called back the answering machine said something about a gas and phone company.

This number came up at 9:55pm and woke the baby for the 3rd time this week I called the number back 4 times and it says they are at&t and spark energy gas. The mail box is full? This is b.s.

Sometimes you have a bad apple. These assholes will enter "VERY INTERESTED - CALL BACK" just because you were "mean" to them. The vast majority of reps are friendly, courteous, and would never intentionally harass you. In the telemarketing industry there is a lot of turnover because it's a hard job. Assholes don't last long - a couple of weeks at the most - but there's nothing you can do about it. At Sunrise everyone is required to dress business casual - unusual for a telemarketing firm. That weeds out some bad apples. Within the first 90 days of employment if you are late or miss work you are fired. There goes a huge chunk. The training is excellent, the bonuses are worth talking about, and the managers are as fun as they are professional. They actually have a very good retention rate for quality employees -- I wouldn't be working for them otherwise.

The second reason is that the rep has decided to call back for some reason. Either you sounded remotely interested - basically meaning you did not say NO. Second, the rep did not talk to the person who is in charge of making a decision about the offer. If you are the "gatekeeper" let us talk to the person in charge or tell us immediately that it will never happen -- we don't want to waste time either and if you tell us that he/she will be back on Monday we're going to call on Monday. Guaranteed.

If you are getting multiple calls there are several possible reasons. The first is that you have multiple phone numbers. I've called businesses several times in a row. I try to pay attention to the listing and hang up if I've seen it before. If you have a dozen listed lines then you'll probably get a dozen calls. Remember, it's not my fault. The computer dials the numbers and I am as embarrassed to call you three times in a day as you are frustrated to hear from me.

First things first. Sunrise adheres to residential DNC lists and only calls businesses. In a perfect world. Honestly there is not much that can be done about it. Unfortunately databases are never perfect and we may call you at your home and pitch something that has nothing to do with you. You may have had a business at one time, or you have MD, DVM, CPA, PHD or some other acronym listed next to your name and so you got flagged as a business, or your new number used to be owned by a business, or whatever...who knows - it's a database. Sunrise removes bad numbers. Just stop us and simply say "Thank you but you have the wrong number. This is a residence." If you don't answer the rep will continue to call assuming that no one was available. If you answer and then hang up immediately the rep may assume that there was a bad connection (call loss is common with new voice technologies like VOIP) or that you were not the person in charge of making decisions. That is the big one... if you are not the person in charge do not hang up on a telemarketer. If you do, you should expect another call. Our goal is to talk to the person who is in charge. If the person in charge is NEVER available then tell us. If the person in charge told you to handle all incoming calls then tell us. We'll try to pitch you. If you don't want to hear it then tell us you're not interested. We aren't if you aren't. Please don't be rude. We're not evil... just doing a job.

I'm a rep. That means I am the guy who calls you. And I truly understand all of the complaints I've read. It's a job. I don't know what you do for a living but trust me... you can't feel more hate than me. But I do get plenty of sales with people who I really enjoy talking with and so I just let all that hate roll right off my back.

I currently work for Sunrise Communications. Sunrise is a call center that handles just about any industry that needs telemarketers. You might think that every sales call is a scam, but it's just not true. It's still amazing to me that even when I'm practically giving something away people treat me like I'm trying to sell them a fake watch over the phone. Not every telemarketer is trying to screw you. Sometimes they have a really great deal and the best/only way to tell you about it is to call you.

I received a call from a fast talking lady who said she was from Sunrise Service Associates and was working with AT&T Gobal in my request to find a college...WHAT!!!! I am 51 I am a retired US Navy Officer, I informed her to remove my name, she "recorded" this....and then hung up.....BEWARE this is a scam....not 5 mins after I received another call from some College locating firm, who said they just received my info from a parent compnay to assist me in locating a college.
When I tried to call back this 417-886-0006 I got a male voice messege who said the Name of Sunrise Ser. and could not take my call..please leave messege....then Tone "MAIL BOX IS FULL" try again later.
BEWARE.....This is a SCAM artist that comes from a POP-UP on many many sites..that steals your info....

my boyfriend worked for this company they are not a telemarketing or a scam it is simply a bus. that gets paid to make phone calls for other companies or events the people on the phone are just doing their job like i saw someone say on here they got bills to pay to and they don't wanna call you as much as you don't want them to call you so be nice

Okay first off if you get a call from that number and you are at a business and they say they are with AT&T, they are telling the truth. AT&T actually does provide them with their information. They actually are an authorized AT&T agent. They are intentionally calling a business because they are updating business accounts.

Second, they can't leave messages. Its a rare situation that they are allowed to. And you would probably be way more upset if you came home and there were messages from a bunch of telemarketers and your answering machine was filled. Seriously how bad is it to see a number on your caller id. Big deal.

Third, yes they call for multiple companies, there's insurance, phone services, education information, and who knows what else that they call about but that doesnt mean it is a scam.

And Lastly if you want to be mad at someone about the calls don't take it out on the person on the other end of the phone they didnt choose to call you. They are sitting at a computer screen with a headset on and your number just pops up. Its an automated dialer. If you do want to give someone a piece of your mind how about it how about you contact the company that hires sunrise. They pay sunrise to call for them.

These guys, Sunrise Services Associates aka Sunrise Communications are reps for both SBC and Cingular; so if you use either of these companies, you are an existing customer and are open season for their telemarketing. Guess where there is a law, there is a way around it :(

wanted to verify address and PG&E account number to give us a discount. Legend is: PG&E buys gas from diferent supplyers and sells with average price, and we can designate one of them (the cheppest one) to get about 10% savings. I think it's froud.

Claimed they were calling on behalf of the natural gas supplier to PG&E, that every PG&E customer is entitled to a 8% reduction on their upcoming utility bill, however one must sign up to get it, They wanted the meter ID number. I asked why PG&E did not reduce the gas bill themselves, they said it was a Ca.PUC ruling a agency that operates in a strange manner, they then said they would connect me to another number that would fully explain. The number that I was connedcted too was a recording that said that they were closed for the day. I cannot figure what kind of a scam this is, my name andress and telephone number is in the phone book, yet at this time did not ask for important information???????.

They called on behalf of United Healthcare wanting to send out free insurance information.
I asked why they were calling since my number was listed on the national do not call list.
He asked if I had health insurance.
I said yes and repeated my question.
He asked who my health insurance was through.
I asked him to put me on their do not call list.
He said he would and asked who my health insurance was through.
I told him to put my number on the do not call list and asked why he was still pursuing the question.
He said that in order for him to put my number on the list he had to do his job and find out about my health insurance.
I hang up and filed another complaint with DoNotCall.gov
I don't think I've heard the last from them, nor do I think the government will actually do anything. But it was worth a shot.

I found the name and phone number listed for Sunrise in one of the comments above. I called them and played the message back to the lady. She pulled up the record of where he called me. With the message I played back too her, she said she would take action.

My answering machine answered asking them to hang up if a telemarketer or leave a message. He leaves a message, "Sitting on his ass, can you you imagine that." I have been trying to call them back and all I get is their voice mail. I will continue until I get them and I will have a word for him.

They called again today and once again I blew the referee whistle into their ear. You would think these morons would get the message.

Caller did not identify. Wanted to setup a time to "come out" with "employee benefits" package.

My advice: Switch to a VoIP provider like the one I use (broadvoice) with Selective Forwarding. I can selectively re-route calls based on the number of the caller. All I do is selectively forward numbers of known telemarketers like these assholes to a completely bogus number, and they hear "call cannot be completed as dialed" Works GREAT!

Got my first call today, answered and no one was at the other end...dead air. I looked up the number and this is where I landed. I hope that's the last but from the looks of the posts here, they like to target a number/numbers and drive them nuts.

I worked for this company for a short time until I realized the way they where doing business. They are very unprofessional and could care less about the customer. I urge everyone that has posted here to report them because they need to be shot down. Its business's like this that make it hard for true professional marketing companies and individuals to offer legitimate services. Called on my cell phone. Did not answer.

Recvd call from this # caller ID showed "SNRSE SVC ASSOC". Claimed they were w/ AT&T & my svc plan was expiring. I just set one up w/ AT&T 3 mos ago so I knew they were wrong. This is a SCAM & don;t give them any info. Report them to your local Police Dept.

Listed as Collins Homes in Springfield, MO on yellowpages but was presented as United Health Care trying to sell me insurance from some bogus company. Got belligerent when I mentioned my cellphone number was on Federal DNC list. Calls back to it get some answering machine that SOUNDS like a home builder. They must be spoofing his number.

Most of you are idiots. It is a marketing agency. They have contracts w/ businesses that don't want to make their own call centers. They have 3 campaigns... the Health Insurance quotes, the AT&T service, and they also call with Wyndham Resorts, which is what the 4 airline tickets is about. The reason the number does not work is b/c they call over computer dialers that only allow outgoing calls.

This number has called me several times. Call back and get an old man's voice saying, "this is masters, leave a message after the beep and we will call back." Then the voice mail box is full. Obviously bogus.

They call our office phone a LOT - never leave a message when the answering machine grabs the line (which we let it do because we don't know who it is). This time, I called the number back - got a voice mail that said, "Hello, this is Masters. We can't come to the phone right now. Please leave a message and we'll get back to you." Then the machine said the voice mail box was full and hung up on me. Sure would like to know how to get rid of them!

The woman at this number told me I had been selected for a 4-ticket flight (but didn't say to where). She told me if she could get me down to the Wisconsin Dells to collect the tickets she would also pay for the gas. I had her give me a return number (which was different) and told her I'd call back, but I won't after reading all this. This is their second call.

A woman picked up, asked where I wanted to be directed and I told her I just wanted my number removed. She took my number, and said she'd take care of it. It was about a 20 second call. We'll see if it works.

they just called me too! I see this stupid number on my Caller id all the time! The woman who called me was talking so fast and then asked me for my address! I hung up on the wench!! Who do they think they are!

They called again today!!! I talked to a supervisor at Sunrise Communications, Frank Blacketer, over a week ago and he assured me that my phone number would be taken from their phone system. However, it was obvious not!!! These folks do NOT care. I have taken to calling United American Insurance and complaining about Sunrise because Sunrise will NOT stop the calling even after I have asked a supervisor to take my name off of the list.

There is guy named, "Frank" who claims that he only calls businesses, but our number is NOT a business.

Our number is also on the Texas and U.S. DO NOT CALL lists.

Repeatedly have been calling me for several weeks. Trying to sell me health insurance. I have asked to be removed but that has not happened.

Called their office and got a voice mail. Called the main office(417-886-1091) and asked to be removed. Women assured me that they would remove me. We will see.

OK, everyone read the different "lines" this alleged "health care" co is feeding everyone... one said they were with AT&T another offered free stay at a casino... c'mon folks... this is a COLLECTION AGENCY AND IF YOU DON'T OWE SOMEONE MONEY, THEN WHOEVER HAD YOUR PHONE NUMBER PREVIOUSLY CERTAINLY DID.

I just called the number back (Saturday) using the *67 feature (blocks your number from them) and after 6-7 rings sounds like they fwd their phone to some old coot named Masters.

Next time they call you, just ask them - "Are you aware that you just interrupted some great sex I was having with your mother?"

Regardless of who they are, they have no right to intrude into your household, so phuck with them in anyway you want?

Best thing to do, is to actually get into it, and become whoever it is they are call for, and give them all sorts of phoney BS and then thank them for calling.

Say they are with United Healthcare and are in your area today and need your address to drop off a free insurance quote. Yeah Right! You can hear the big boiler room of telemarketers in the background. Different person called 6 times this week! And they won't take no for an answer. If you hang up on them, they immediately redial you again. Sheesh! Can't anyone stop these people????

i was to be informed of a free stay at a casino if I just walked in to the said locale. I did not answer the phone my mother did and they were rather pushy about where I was and when I was going to be around. When I tried to return their call it said the voicemail was full. I thought this was fishy so I googled the number and here this is. i suppose it is a fraud.the number used for me thought was 417 886 3803.

The guy asked for my husband by name, I asked who may I say is calling? He said he was calling from United Health something. I jokingly said, Sounds like you're trying to sell us something. He was snotty and said, No, we send out FREE information on health insurance, key word is FREE, DUH. I told him I was certainly not interested in anything free or not from him and to remove us from the calling list. They called again today while I was out, no message. Keeping track or the calls so I can report them.

Gentleman became rude when I told him I was on the "do not call list". Claimed he was not a telemarketer although he was obviously trying to sell insurance. I was rude in return and hung up. Gentleman actually had the nerve to call me back and ask for my address so he could come down and open up a can of whoop a$$ on me.

They called, asked for me by name (the number is unlisted) and then hung up. When I called it back - it is a recording about spreading Christmas cheer and the vmail was full!!

Called our business, caller did not introduce self, just immediately asked what our address was. Very rude.

Man [in early 20s or 30s] wanted to send free healthcare quotes - he had a postal code [for our business mailbox] but didn't have a street address or our correct postal code or county info - I'm thinking he got this [company mailbox] info from one of our company websites [including our business phone number and my name] - I'm going to contact the local police department in Springfield, MO to track down this person.

The young lady was qUite persistent - wanted my name, date of birth, medications I am taking, etc. Just to send a price for health insurance. I did not give her all that because I consider it a breach of privacy to inquire about things like that. Now, if we had purchased insurance w/them, then you give the particulars - but not for just an estimate. I told her she did not need to know all that and that we are perfectly satisfied with Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Alabama.

My answering machine picked up, but they did not leave a message. They have called before.
