No message, 2 seconds, hangup from 417-284-9898. I did/will not call back.

Called my cell phone number--and not the first time either. Left no message.

No message left. In AZ.

I have a spanish last name and I got a phone call from this number. It was a voice recording of of women saying that I've one a million dollars in spanish.

I am from Oregon.

Didn't pick up. No message. 3rd call from this same number in the last 3 months or so. Annoying.

Didn't pick up. Found this thread. Called back and got the quasi spanish accented woman on a bad recording saying the number was disconnected. WTF?

No Name, unknown to me, cell called is ONLY for text pages, not given out for voice calls.

Received a call from this number a minute ago. According to my phone records, the call was from Missouri. Left me a voicemail, but nothing was said.

Same here I am in Sask Canada and it called my Cell phone. I called back and says the number is not in service.
Some SCAM company is pulsing out a disconnected number as thier caller ID.
If there is an AMERICAN that would complain .... it should stop them. THIS IS 100% illegel
And the USA has LAWS preventing this. PLEASE someone call the FTC or FCC and file a complaint. Hopefully that will stop the harrassment.

its a scam.. it wanted my credit card info to "transfer" funds to me lol... i tried to ask for the supervisor and got hung up on.

Same call from different number last week. They must be spoofing the number they are calling from. We're in Colorado.

It was crackly line with a woman speaking Spanish. I don't know what she said, but I caught something about money. I live in Dallas.

Unfortunately, I answered the call and listened to a recording in spanish! Very frustrating and next time I will not answer my phone!

Spanish lady saying I've won $1000 dollars and to press 1 to receive it. You push 1 and then it hangs up.

Let it go to voicemail. I constantly get these obnoxious Spanish recordings. I wish that the "Do Not Call" would actually block our numbers like they promise to! I'm in New England.

@ Memo, thanks for the info. I answered even though I didn't recognize the number. I thought it was Italian, but it must have been Spanish like everyone says. I could tell it was a recording so just hung up. Will block this number from my phone though. I am in Spokane Washington.

Be cautious. This is a scam.
The recording in spanish says that you have won one thousand dollars, and asks you to press 1 to connect the call. If you press 1 it might hang up on you, but it also can transfer you to their (also spanish speaking) operator that will ask you for "trivial" information like your name, phone, address, credit card number, expiration date and security code.
I played along with them until this point. When I showed concern about sharing my credit card info, the lady became very upset, and in perfect puerto rican spanish she said "Whatever, Papi. It's you who is missing out on the $1000, not me". And hanged up on me. LOL.

Just received a call from this number - Caller ID said it was from Caulfield, MO - they said something in Spanish and then hung up

Holy hell I'm Ukrainian too, and I just got a call from that number. I mean I live in the US but still what are the odds? I didn't pick up the phone but I've gotten those Mexican telemarketers before from other numbers, so no surprise there

Got a call from this number. Didnt answer, they left no vmail. So, I don't know if it was an english or spanish recording.
As far as chosen by spanish lastname - not sure. My maiden name ends in a vowel, so I've gotten things via snail mail over the years in spanish (even though I'm not).
Our phone account is in hubby's very german sounding lastname.

A lot of ppl on here seem to be in the AZ, So Cal area - I'm all the way in FL though.
Strange though that this 417 # racked up a lot of hits on this page too in such a short amount of time.
