Very annoying... have called us 5 times in past couple of days... we answer and nobody speaks, then they hang up after a few seconds

They called 3 times yesterday and 3 times tonight. They are no on my 'Blocked Callers' list.
They called twice tonight and several times over the past week.
So thats how it is eh! Starting up with this spit again. So I sasw 416, have call display, but I stupidly answered it anyway! As usual, nobody answered and it soon hung up. Why did I not consider its a damn Sunday!!!!!!!
The line was dead when I picked up. I said hello three times to see if a recording would kick and actually got a live(?) persone. I believe she said she was doing a survey for QED. As soon as I heard survey I hung up. Would be nice to see some legislators with guts that could pass a law that would include political, survey and non-profit callers that had to abide by the do-no-call regulations. Oops we have an election coming up. They wouldn't want to stop their campaign calls from annoying people.
They've called twice a day (at 6 pm and 9 pm) every day for the past week.
Finally, I managed to catch the call and tell them to take me off their list.

Si je ne répond pas et laisse sonner,on ne laisse pas non plus,de message sur mon répondeur qui est toujours en fonction.
J'ai eesayé de rappeler à plusieurs reprises,à ce numéro,çà sonne une dizainew de fois puis on entend le...bib comme si s'était engagé.
En plusse,j'ai un numéro NON PUBLIÉ.

Je demeure à Québec.Je me suis servie du 411.com sur internet pour savoir que ces nombreux appels viennent de Toronto.
C'est platte en mosusse.On m'a même téléphoné à 21.30 heures.
Calls from this number received on 04/14, 04/28 and today 05/01. I let it go to voicemail. No message left ever. Very annoying.
After a bit of Googling, it seems like these calls are being made by Logit Group, a survey/data collection company in Toronto, Ontario. They do surveys for various Canadian companies and organizations, including the Conservative Party of Canada.

Have gotten calls from this number about once per week for the last 4-5 weeks. No answer when I pick up. Random clicks when I let it go to the answering machine.
Keeps calling...who are you??????????? If the answering machine answers, they hand up -- if someone answers, they hang up -- this has been going on for over three months now, with at least 2 calls every day...this is what happens when you put your number on the DO NOT CALL LIST! Since then we have been geting a lot of CALLS!
I live in B.C. and had a call from this number, survey about ICBC which is 604 area code, why from Ontario?
Seems more tax payers $ are going to out of province, why a survey from outer province?

Stop purchasing from Kraft foods, it says this is part of their marketing crap.

This number called for a week and a half, the last call was every hour on the hour from 8 am until 10 pm...they must have screwed up because they unknowingly left two messages on my phone that day...of men chatting in the background, there general conversation was not meant for a recording...haven't heard from them since.
This number phones my home often. I have never answered.
Tried looking it up on reverse look up. Not a published number.
called and asked how the fires in california were...then proceded to ask all kinds of questions re where I worked ...did I ever work for the government....did I know anyone who worked for the govt....How about general electric?.....very bazaar - asked who they were and they said they weren't allowed to report that...I then said I couldn't ask anymmore questions...he had the nerve to ask if he could call back.....whats the deal?......next time I am going to blow a whistle in their ears.....
I must also add...notice that people have been reporting this number since 2007? That's not too promising.
I am house sitting for my folks. This number has called an average of 2 times a day. I don't answer; it's not my phone...but I can understand how this annoying type of call should be stopped!

Someone from this number keeps calling, and then hanging up -- if the answering maching answers, they hand up -- if one of us answers, they hang up -- this has been going on for over a month now, with at least 2 calls every day... my phone company says there's nothing they can do to stop these calls... -- which is really no surprise, as they (Frontier) are pretty worthless anyway...

I answered and a male voice asked to speak to my husband. When I said he wasn't in, he hung up on me.
Called 28Apr08. Caller ID showed Ontario/416-640-3489 . Caller sat through entire answering machine message, waited about 10 seconds, then hung up.

They have been calling for several days. I don't pick up unknown calls, so I don't know who they are or what it's about. I have also received "Ontario" calls from another number - 613-667-9352.
Called on 4/3/2008 and 4/4/2008. I answered on 4/4. Person who called had a very heavy India accent and asked to speak to the teenager in the household for survey purposes. He yawned in the middle of the request. I have no teens here so he said goodbye and hung up.
This ass called my cellphone saying he wanted to do a survey for Kraft Foods. I told him I don't take these calls on this phone. I called the number and got a lot of static, sounded like a walkie talkie. so I hung up. I guess I will try and block this number or get my number changed.

This number called us at least twice a day for the past 2 weeks.
Called at 10:26am on 08/08/2007. No one on the line, and it hung up after about 10 seconds.
When I called back I got a messages saying "Sorry you missed our call, we were trying to contact you for market research" and then the automatic "exiting the system, goodbye".

called back and got an automated answer service - VERY low volume - From what I could hear - "You have reached the customer survey line" in a male voice then a female voice comes on and says "exiting the system, goodbye"
