Received call from these jerks saying they were looking for me and my wife. Funny I haven't been married for 4 yrs owe no money but yet threaten to persue legal remed. I can't wait to see what happens. They can Kiss my A$$. 18669155209 given as a return number. Call them 10x's a day and let them pay for the phone calls. That is the only way to get back at these people. These calls aren't free for THEM!

When I receive calls all that shows on my caller ID is 416. When I answer they hang up.

this is Global collection company, they are a huge pain. I had payed off a credit card well over a year before they contacted me on the same account Capone of all places misplaced my payoff check and sent global after me even after faxing coppies of the canceled check to both global and cap one Global is still pushing and the closer I get to having this resolved with cap one the harder global pushes to get me to just pay them and cap one will have to reimbuse me when we have it all straightend out... lets see let me think about that ummmm NO! these guys are pushy and play the games with the best of them.

Just tallied all calls from Global, 32 calls since 1/27/09! 2 voicemails from some Ochoa guy and 4 voicemails from a mean sounding guy with the x's name in a female computer voice stating that it must be resolved TODAY!

They are blowing up my cell phone and they are contacting me about my xhusband's Capital One card. The law says they r not alowwed to discuss this with me but they do anyway. I programed all of there numbers in my phone n dont answer when they call. Even their voice mail messages are rude! I am keeping a list of dates, times, and the numbers they call from so I can file a harassment suit against them. I told them to stop calling me I dont know where he is but it is several times daily they call and rarely leave messages.

Global Credit & Collections Corp. uses several numbers on caller ID. Most frequent used are: 905-413-8577, 516-000-0000, 718-000-0000, 866-915-5210, 416. These people are ruthless and tend to call 2-5 times a day.

Thiu is the rude people from collect Corp. They screw with caller ID sending this number as well as 10 ans 01's to you, They have so mnay outbound numbers that it's hard to avoid them. I use callclerk abd it looks my calls up on the net before I answer the phone. Nailed collect corp everytime!

I am not sure, but I think this may be Chase USA. I first received a call from 301-620-3102. I didn't answer and then I received a call from 416. This happens a few times a day. I agreed to a payment with Chase USA in 2007. Since then a family member sold a small cond (same last name). Tho, I received no money I am, all of a sudden, getting threating calls from Chase USA for the rest of the money. They even call relatives (which is against the law). I sent them a letter, best not to speak to them.

Probably the same perps who call from "647" (just the 3-digit CID).

has been calling 3-4 times a day, threatens action if I don't answer (on the voicemail)...called me at 7:00 this morning!!! I don't owe anyone money...so I have no idea- but they had my name on the voicemail too!

Called twice today: 2007-11-17 ~1055h and ~1310h. Another telejunker who ignores out-of-service messages. Almost tempted to unblock them to see who the hell is presenting such an egregiously fake CID and expose the perps.

Calls 1-2 times per week. Not going to pick up to find out who it is - number is permanently on CallBlock in VoIP account.

I keep getting phone calls from this 416 number. When I answer, an automated voice tells me to push one to speak to someone, I do and then I get an answering machine.
When I miss the call, the automated machine threatens to take "action" if I don't speak to someone there.
When I call back, the operated says it doesn't recognize the number.
I've gone as far as to check all my creditors and I can't find any reason why I'm getting this call??????

I received a call on my cell yesterday, 6/4. The caller i.d. came up as '416', that's it. It was a lending company. I told them I was not interested. Today, 6/5, I got another call from them but did not speak to them, it was a missed call.

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
  3. Block them with a call blocker:
