- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
- Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

Selling warranty which is illegal...
Other #'s used 207-377-7914 309-833-5323 773-728-8019 208-664-0749 603-875-6285
We do not give our cell# that we have had for 10yrs to anyone except trusted friends/relatives. We get enough telemarketer calls on our landline/home phone that I do not want them on our cell. We have Alltel & I am calling to find out what can be done about this. If anyone else has any solutions...PLEASE....post back here. Also, call your cell company. THANK YOU!
For the past two months I received calls to my work phone, home and cell at least once a week from random numbers about my car's warranty running out. The numbers are 775-465-0025, 800-465-7962, and 414-462-5902, all from the same company. The call times very from 12pm to 10pm in the evening. The Calls that take place after 8pm are in violation of outbound dialing rules since they are outside the set calling times. I have also been placed in que in excess of 2 min to speak with a rep. This is a violation in most states as well and they are not allowed to queue an out bound call with out stating all associates are busy and to call back later, in some states the company can not queue an outbound call at all. They also do not display a valid call back number on thier dialer and post random disconnect phone numbers. All non 800 numbers have tracked back to personal phones. When I have asked where you got my number they immediately hang up. Or when I tell them they are in violation for dialing past the set time for calling they hang up. This company is obviously knowingly committing these violations and does not care. I followed their rules and pressed option two to remove me from their follow up list yet the persist. I have not gone as far as giving them information so they have yet to give me their company name
I am very annoyed with this company calling me!! I do not have warranty on my vehicle, when I was switched to a live person I requested to be taken off the list & was rudely hung up on!!!
This is not the first time I've been contacted by this number. I generally ignore telephone calls from numbers or people I don't recognise but in this instance, in the middle of a film production, I thought the call was from a potential supplier in the San Francisco area. Apart from their nuisance quotient, one is charged by one's mobile carrier for every such call. I wonder how long it will be before the American Congress will be forced to pass a law similar to the one banning solicitations over one's landlines.
report them to fcc.gov they handle these kind of complaints, especially when they are calling cellular phones.
Called my cell phone. Since I get no cell calls from people I know, I answered the call (to stop the ring tone) but hung up immediately. I get these types of calls several time a week on my cell.
I have never bought a car with any kind of warranty and these people are driving me nuts! I tried to call it back and it said the number was disconnected. I have told them twice to take me off their calling list! They are costing me sleep and my sex drive is gone I'm having nightmares about automated phone calls. I lost my job because I over slept because I was so stressed out over this. Any good Attorneys out there so I can recoup my damages and buy a new wife?

I sick of this number calling me. It has called my cell phone 5 times in the last week and at home 4 times in the last week!
*67 won't block your number when calling 800/866 numbers
privacyrights.org
I'd like to know how his guy got both my work cell and home phone, called both within a minute and didn't leave a message. I have received messages about a warranty expiring like other complaints listed here.
get this call about once every 3 days.
car warranty crap.
they need to stop this, its getting annoying
Warranty Solutions has repeatedly called my home telephone number and my eleven year-old son's cell phone. It is always a recorded message about extending the warranty on a vehicle. This telemarketer is not targeting a reasonable groups of consumers. This company harasses 11 year-olds who have never owned a vehicle.
"Your car warranty is about to expire..." They obviously don't care that they're calling a business number.
I press "2" to be removed but I'm sure that does nothing except let them know there's someone here to actually answer the phone.
Here is an idea -- In addition to these obnoxious calls we've all been getting, I have also received direct mail pieces.... which contain a toll-free number to call. When a company gets a toll-free number, they pay for the incoming calls! So the more calls they get, the more they have to pay. Get where I am going? BUT to prevent the company from knowing it was your number (and giving them reason to call back -- all legit), call from your cell phone, and enter *67 then this number: 866-608-4868. This will block your number from being recognized. If we each call multiple times a day, the company will NOT be able to pay it's phone bill!!! MAKE SURE TO ENTER *67 (that's the star button, the number six, the number seven) then the toll free number!!!!!
I AM MAD AS HELL AND NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!
I'm a receptionist for a major Real Estate company. I have 120 lines to answer. This is the THIRD call this morning. There is just silence and I'm fed up.
Ugh - hate these scams. Got the call to my cell phone, listened to the spiel, then asked "do you think I'm dumb enough to fall for your scams" - the young lady on the other end fired into me about how this was not a scam, blah blah. I asked her to tell me what kind of car I drive - as she must know if she knows my warranty is going to expire - she just fired off obscenities and hung up. Hehe.
I too am recieving these calls on my cellular phone and cannot dial back the number or get myself removed.
Go to FTC.gov and there will be a link you can use to report this company. Report them and do all of us and yourself a favor.
call came in on cell phone while i was at work so i didn't answer call. looked up number on google as when i looked at my missed call log i did not know the number.
Call came on cell phone. I didn't recognize the number, so I didn't answer.

I see these guys have been busy the past two days. Received call on cell phone 4/23/09 at 11:37 a.m. from this unknown number which traces back to some "John Anderson." Nobody responded when I answered the call. My cell phone, as well as home phone, are on DNC list (as is everybody else's, of course) which obviously doesn't mean anything to anybody anymore. I am using my cell more and more frequently in anticipation of dropping landline but have no clue how this number suddenly became a target for morons like this since I do not provide it for general purposes. I'll file report with FCC and DNC. I'd suggest (a) you set the cellphone to "no ring tone" so you don't even hear the phone ring and be bothered by these idiots, and/or (b) ask the morons what it's like to lie for a living and/or (c) ask them if they were born this pathetically stupid or if they really work hard at it. The irony here is that if they're trying to sell ME a car warranty, they need take a number and stand in line after my Toyota dealership, which would like to do the same thing for my 4 month old car that has less than 6,000 miles on it. I don't ever buy extended warranties for anything, especially not reliable Toyotas.
And for the record, there are telecommunication companies that "sell" bogus ID numbers that point to/ring to a REAL number that you never see. It's a tracking method for marketing purposes. It also prevents you from tracking that number to its source to file a complaint with the company, unfortunately.
Well first off, I'm registered under the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY so I'm not sure how they got my cell number but they have been calling ALL THE TIME!!! Are they that stressed for business? I want these calls to stop, If I decide to get extended warranty I will contact someone. It's very, very annoying to get these calls all during the day & all up until the late evening hours. PLEASE STOP CALLING ME!! Is it true that AT&T sells peoples numbers? Well I don't have AT&T & never have had them so now what? I have reported this number 1-414-462-5902 to the FCC.
Same company has called on my cell with verious numbers that appear in the Caller ID and each time I try to call these numebrs back I get amessage they haev been disconnected! Each call is a recorded message that switches to live rep that tries to get to extend my warranty on my truck. They keep calling at all hours of the day at my home and at my work! They have even called me as late as 10:15pm! How can these idiots keep using caller ID numbers that are dead lines? How is this possible. Its for sure a scam and I want to sue someone but have no idea how.....I have gotten over 12 calls from them and on top of it I can't get them to stop calling! There has to be a way to nail these scam artists!
