I pressed "1", and here's how the discussion went

me: No, I want my number on your do not call list
him: you want to buy some cocaine?
me: are you friggin' kidding me? are you serious?
him: yes, I'm serious
me: who are you?
him: I'm god
me: what is your name?
him: I am GOD
me: you are completely unprofessional and inappropriate, not to mention an idiot
[ I hung up on him ]

We are sorry about this major inconvenience. We, unfortunately feel just as sullied, as you feel harassed. Digitcom is a telephone carrier that simply sells phone cards and provides phone numbers to retail and wholesale customers. The wholesalers take those numbers and provide them to their own customers who tend to be telemarketers. Digitcom has not placed any calls to your number; it does not do any telemarketing. Only the wholesaler’s customers are calling you and others.
We have created a webpage didcheck.digitcom.net for you to enter the offending number and your number so that you can obtain the contact information on the wholesaler who is using that number and complain directly to them.

Demand that your number be placed on the wholesalers DNC list and the wholesalers’ customer DNC list. Didn't answer, they didn't leave a message

I just received a call from this number on my cell phone. I did not pick up though as I was just on my way in the house from doing some yard work when I heard it ring.

They left no voicemail. From what I am reading it looks like it is some credit agency looking to lower your interest rates. No thanks, I am happy with my rates as is. Have a nice day!

I got a call just now (4/5/2010), and pressed 1 to talk to a person. The recorded message states this is a credit card service of some sort. I asked the first guy the name of the company and how to get removed from their list. He transferred me to the "do not call" department. The second guys said he could remove me from the list if I verified my name and phone number. I refused and again asked for his company name. He asked if I had a pen and paper, then said "B, O, O, B, L, I, C", then he laughed and hung up. At least they have a sense of humor.
I went to donotcall.gov and learned my phone is _not_ on the "do not call list". So I just now registered. The FAQ says I should not get any calls after 31 days from when I file.

Unrecognized number on my personal cell phone which I missed. But they left a robotic voice mail asking me to press 1 if I wanted to lower my interest rate! It's most likely a scam. How dare they use my minutes!

Lower interest rate blah blah, I pressed 1 to see what was going on. Man answered and said, "I understand you are interested in lowering your interest rate, is that correct?" I said, ".. sure, what card is this for?" The man hung up on me.

I don't answer unfamiliar numbers, so a message was left that said, please push 1 for credit card savings or three to discontinue.

Credit card service, aked me to press 1

I got a call from this number which showed up as cellular call, pressed 1 and gentleman identified himself as Card Service Centers and connected to MasterCard. HE said they could lower my interest rates if I qualified by having more than 12% interest on at least $8000 debt. He wanted me to give my credit caerd number and said I could verify by calling his supervisor at (877) 879-9695.

On my answering machine, it was a hang up, the caller id said Camp Patrick.

Credit Card Services. Lower your interest rate. Consider this your final notice. Press 1 to be connected. I hung up.

Have received numerous calls from this number. Caller ID shows "
