The phone is ringing, and I don't recognize the number,
All Caller ID says is, "NAME UNAVAILABLE".
Please help me figure out who is calling and what they want

I've received 4 calls from this number recently between 8:00 and 8:30 PM. I have not answered. They have not left any messages.

I haven't a clue who this could be. When I answered there was at fist a silence, then a hang up.


How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
  3. Block them with a call blocker:
